We
had
silver
from
family
estate
to
sell
off
for
scrap,
called
Sobo
on
Saturday
and
the
person
said
they
buy
scrap
silver
and
confirmed
they
do
this
in
the
weekend.
We
drove
there
and
there
was
one
person
in
the
store
and
confirmed
they
do
buy
scrap
silver.
Then
he
looked
at
our
silver
took
a
photo
of
some
of
it
and
sent
it
to
his
"Boss"
then
continued
to
check
it
was
silver
and
weigh.
Going
ok
so
far.
He
calculated
the
amount
and
was
lower
than
what
we
had
worked
out
but
he
explained
the
silver
flatware
was
bought
at
a
lower
rate(not
sure
why,
stirling
silver
is
stirling
silver)
and
these
are
forks
and
spoons
that
are
all
silver..We
were
ready
to
walk
out
and
while
we
were
thinking,
he
worked
out
that
he
didn't
have
enough
money
on
premisis
to
pay
us
anyway..
so
called
the
"boss"
to
see
if
he
could
get
more
money
to
him.
The
"boss"
on
the
phone
was
telling
him
that
to
reduce
the
percentage
on
the
silver
calculator
and
then
told
him
that
he
wasn't
going
to
buy
the
flatware,
just
the
bars
we
had.
Then
changed
his
mind
and
said
he
wasn't
buying
silver
at
all,
but
we
could
come
back
Monday
and
he
would
take
us
to
his
"guy"
We
noped
out
of
there,
the
poor
guy
running
the
shop
was
very
apologetic
and
oviously
the
"boss"
didn't
trust
him
to
identify
silver,
so
why
say
you
buy
silver
in
the
weekend.
Sounds
like
the
boss
wanted
to
scam
us
into
a
lower
price
when
he
was
there
during
the
week.
As
we
walked
out
the
"boss"
called
back
and
asked
if
we
were
still
there,
we
just
kept
going.
Happy
ending
though..
we
went
somewhere
else
after
that
and
got
a
thousand
more
than
his
offer
so
the
"boss"
lost
out
and
we
dodged
a
bullet...be
careful
selling
here
as
they
low
ball
you.
