We enjoyed both dolls and a chance to try costumes. Video, demonstrating the process of creation, was good, too! Puppet kingdom? nah, I'd rather call them dolls or figures. ("A puppet is basically a movable model of a person or animal"). Lack of card payment possibility is a drawback. ATM's in Preiļi aren't available on every corner, took some time to get cash for this activity. Be aware of that, have cash with you in Latgale. I miss ordinary WC, too. There's placed plastic booth - quite stinky on hot day. Wash of hands wasn't possible, if I remember correctly.

Perfect place for those who want to dress up and have fun, with a really beautiful doll museum next door. Also, got dressed by very beautiful staff memebers, was rly pleasant 😅 The costumes there were a lot, but not a lot of themes to choose from. There were only 1700s costumes for both, men and women, and steampunk style costumes. I wish there was more costumes themes and maybe even make up artists to color your face up 😁 That is why I rate it a 4-star place. There is a way in this place to grow, and it could turn out amazing, will totally come back, if there will be new costume themes.

Such a great place to visit and see all the different dolls 🪆 and try the costumes and feel your self like queen or a king 👸🤴 The people who worked there are so nice and they are real professional of helping you of choosing the dress and feel your self confident!👏💙

Absolutely fantastic place with thematic costumes and possibility to become a musketeer, court lady, king or steampunk character. Very impressive doll museum - all dolls are hand-made and are absolutely detailed and breathtaking real. Definitely a place to visit.

Impressive gallery, all dolls are piece of great art. Like alive. Artist Vladlena very talented, well done. Personally I would also like to see some dolls from Harry Potter in future, kids would love it. We didn't dress up as prince but did have photo's around and would be lovely to see some more castles and architectural objects around, but I guess they are limited in space. Would recommend to visit this place, by the way A-ha visited it I saw pictures.

Amazing place to see the dolls. Moreover there is an ability to watch a video about the doll maker Vladlena and her masterpieces

While I really enjoyed the sculptures themselves, the way they were displayed seemed lacking. They were too densely packed together, and you couldn't really appreciate the craftsmanship of any single one as they blanded together into one big mess. Maybe that was the intention, I don't know. But the approach Riga fantasy took with her works was way more flattering

Must see in Preili town. Marvellous art. Every doll has its story. Have been there long time ago and glad for visit this year.
