We lucked out and ate there the fourth day they were open on July 15th. The inside is incredibly nicely decorated and would put any downtown Aiken restaurant to shame. We ordered their signature burger and a chicken and pecan glaze salad. It was the best food we have had eating out and many months. It was topped off with a huge chocolate lava cake, and the best service ever from the waiter whom I think was named Cliff. I think we have a new favorite restaurant in Aiken. I'm sorry we didn't get pictures of the food before we ate it, but it was so delicious we couldn't wait. The prices were very reasonable for the atmosphere and the quality of the food. The burgers and salads are $14 each. And don't ruin the fries or burger with ketchup. The taste is incredible.

We really loved eating here, they have an outstanding liquor menu. It's a pretty fancy place but with real food. I had the roast beef sandwich, it could not have been better. Our waiter Drew was fantastic

Well another trip to Aiken took me to another wonderful place for dinner. The feed sack was recommended by close friend who we met at the restaurant. My wife, my friend, and I immediately remarked about the atmosphere and the wonderful old world look inside of the restaurant. The staff cordsley greeted us when we came in and took us to our seats immediately as there was very little weight we had come early then evening prior to their main rush. Walking through the restaurant dining area I noted all the unique decor items you could spend a good 20-30 minutes alone to look at. I also noted an outside dining area but didn't go back to take a closer look. We didn't have any appetizers but dough right straight into our meals after ordering drinks. My wife and my friend both ordered the swordfish and I ordered the short ribs. The swordfish was placed the top of bed of grits with the side of steamed broccoli. The short ribs came on a bed of mashed potatoes with the side of succotash. Both dishes were just utterly flavorful. Beef ribs melted in your mouth and the swordfish was firm and steak like according to my wife. We ended the meal sharing this wonderful peach cinnamon shortcake. It was a wonderful way to end dinner. All through the evening our server Maddie insured we were well attended to and seem to always appear at just the right moment to refill our drinks and to check that everything was sour satisfaction. Please indulge yourself if you're new to the area or if you're in town visiting as The Feed Sack will certainly complete your dinner cravings.

We are from Lexington and were in Aiken for the day picking up things. We stopped by here and had a great experience. The food was amazing and my husband stated it was better than the food in Charleston when we visited. Tony was our waiter and he was excellent, very friendly and personable. We will definitely be back and asking for Tony!

This was our first experience at the Feed Sack and the restaurant certainly did not disappoint. When you arrive at the restaurant the outside does not do the interior or atmosphere justice. The decor is horse related and is extremely charming. Our waitress was Sarah and she was absolutely amazing. She attended to every request and was breath of fresh air when most waitress are horrible anymore. The appetizer we tried was very well balanced. Hot Pimento Cheese. Highly recommend. The peppercorn steak was cooked perfectly. I would recommend getting reservations or grab a drink and wait and enjoy the atmosphere. We definitely be back.

First time customer and was disappointed. The only reason for 3 stars was Aimee my waitress, she was attentive and great. The food was the issue. I continue to look for a good steak in Aiken and was disappointed again. I ordered the peppered sirloin medium rare and got medium well to well done and very dry. Very over cooked and dry. My chocolate lab liked it. At least the mashed potatoes and asparagus were good or I would have had to stop somewhere else for dinner. Aimee offered to take the steak back but with the crowd I would have waited even longer..very disappointed.. thanks for trying to make the poor cooking right Aimee. If you do try this restaurant ask for her, she's great. First impressions go a long way and my first impression was not good..especially at that price..a 30 dollar steak should be cooked to perfection..every time.

We ordered the Cali Turkey & Hot Roast Beef sandwiches. We got fries with one and potato salad with the other. Everything was delicious!!!! Dayna was our server and she was wonderful! She made great suggestions and kept our glasses full. The food, atmosphere and service was 5 stars! The service was top notch from the minute you open the door. The hostess was great in giving a little introduction to the restaurant including bathroom location. The shopping center location is deceiving because the inside of this restaurant is gorgeous! Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful. Assorted wines from diff regions of the world. Amazing bar. Live piano player. And the restaurant is huge. Food was delicious. We ordered shrimp & grits. I wished I'd ordered the focaccia to eat w/ the red eye gravy that was over the grits. The salad was fresh also. We ordered the bourbon peach bread pudding to go. It was enough to feed 4 ppl, but... I didn't like it. We will eat there again.

This was my first time here. and let me say i had an AMAZING experience. The hostess was extremely friendly, we were also sat instantly. Our server was also friendly and was attentive and quick. The food was brought out also fairly quickly. The Feed Sack Fingers were the best chicken tenders i’ve really ever had. They were hot and crispy served with a great hot sauce. The Lunch Fish and Chips was a decent sized portion. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And not to mention the fries were also great. The atmosphere is quite lovely and a little fancy.

We came here one Saturday afternoon and had sandwiches and a side of asparagus. The asparagus was so salty, it shot my blood pressure so high my doctor had to start me on blood pressure medicine. They need to ease way up on their use of salt here. Loved the atmosphere and the cool furniture to look at but when we were getting ready to eat, a middle aged gentleman came by our table as well as others, never greeted us or introduced himself but said hello to our kid. Interesting.....

We were in Aiken for one night and wanted to find a nice place that we could sit at a bar and order food. The Feed Sack exceeded our expectations! The atmosphere was wonderful! Halfway through our meal we heard the piano playing what a great experience. It's not often we have been anywhere that has live piano music. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive. It's a nice big bar. We ordered the Cali Turkey and the burger. Both with fries. I loved the fact that they put plenty of fries on the plate. Usually there is not enough for me. Everything tasted great. The smoked turkey on the Cali Turkey had just the right amount of smokiness not overpowering. I would absolutely come back if we are in Aiken again. I wish we had a restaurant like this where we live.

A really excellent experience at The Feed Sack last night. There were four and a quarter of us, me, my wife, son, daughter-in-law (who is like a daughter to me) and my 8month old granddaughter. We requested a corner booth, and that is exactly what we got. The last time that I visited was about 5 months ago, however, our server, Aimee, remembered us, amazing. Aimee is a truly excellent employee for The Food Sack, she is attentive, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Now the food, we were all very happy with our choices, however, I was super happy. The "special" I chose was "gumbo", truly one of the most delicious meals that I have ever had, I love spicy. I suggested to Aimee the this dish should be available regularly. Looking forward to returning to The Feed Sack and requesting Aimee as our exceptional server.

The new back area is super nice. Plush couches and large bar with huge captain chairs. The piano player added a nice touch. A live band was outside on the patio. Took some out of town guests with no reservations, and they were able to accommodate us with no issues. Maddie was our server, and she was excellent! Helped us with dish recommendations, and her service was top-notch! The lemon cake is amazing! Love the Feed Sack!
