I loved the place. We are two pensioners but our inner child came to life. It was so nice to take pictures. The lady came to assist us and she took the pictures. We really appreciated it. She even made some suggestions. Thanks for their kindness. The entrance fee for adults was 500 Baht.

The first 3D Museum of Southern Thailand ( Formerly Phuket Trickeye Museum ), is located in Phuket old town. Offers the opportunity to engage and interact with modern installatuon art through it's permanent collection and temporaly exhibitions that stimulate creative and imagination.

We were the only visitors in the morning when it opened, so we got a private guide walking with us and showing us where to take best pictures. She even took picture of us together at the most famous spot with waterfall, so we were really thankful. So service was really good, but the fact that you have to take off your shoes and walk around the hard floor barefoot for a long time was a big minus to me. My feet hurt anyway from all the walking throughout my trip, so going barefoot was quite painful and we just went fast to speed up the entire visit. Few pictures are really masterpieces, but there's not that much to see here. Also, no air-conditioning - just fans in few important areas, so it's really hot in here.

If you are in to clicking creative pictures, and love creativity, this is a must visit place. It is a small place, but one can easily spend 3 hours. A place loved by kids, to the fullest. Tip: book the ticket one day in advance, online to get some great deals.

This was such a fun experience. It was very exhausting taking all of the photos, but such a great opportunity for people of all ages. The guide remained with us and took all our photos.

We ended up going during a quiet time of the day and so we didn’t have any interference from other people at the museum which was good. We had our own personal guide throughout our journey in the museum, she showed us how to pose and where to stand, she took a picture of us at each artwork! The artworks are funny and great, and it’s a nice place for kids and adults. One downside is that there is not aircon inside, only fans, so you can get very hot very fast. Other than that, I think the entrance price of $15 is excellent, as we had our own guide who literally took all our pictures and I thought it was very worth it. I highly recommend to all travellers!

Not super cheap, but a lot of fun. If you are alone either take a tripod or a employee of the museum will take your photos. Of course it is more fun, if you do this with other people.

It's way cheaper if you buy your ticket on Agoda- we got 50% off for a non refundable ticket. We spend a good 3 hours taking photos. Took 1 stars off because my mom slipped as the floor was too slippery and hurt her back. Floor is too slippery, and wearing no socks doesn't help. Bring non-slip socks to wear as wearing shoes were not allowed. Another star off because there weren't any seating areas. Staff don't speak English, making communication difficult. It's fun to do with family & kids. I don't recommend elderlies unless they are fit. No elevators, you must be able to stand & walk.

There's something just so whimsical watching your family pose for these pictures, I've been once before and its still just as fun returning only to find NEW THINGS! It's easygoing, nobody rushes you, and its empty enough so you more or less get the place to yourself!

Got to know about this place from one of the websites where it mentioned the trickeye museum as a must visit. The overall experience was okay but a bit expensive for 500 tbh. The paintings were good but found the lighting not up to the mark. We spent around an hour and a half taking photos here. The place would be super fun if you are travelling with family and kids. It all depends on how long you're staying in Phuket. If in a rush, better to skip.

A big hoax !! We were actually tricked by the photographs present in the internet. Sheer waste of money !! None of the painting were actually coming out like a 3D painting in photographs, no matter which angle you choose. Lighting was so damn poor that the shadows made the photographs worst. I still repent going here..

I was on my own. So one of the staff took all the pictures for me and guided me through. Great Experience. Not well advertised in brochures etc well worth the 500 baht to go through.

The place is amazing but check check... Only if you are interested in taking photographs. Spend about 3 hours there and time flew by. Every photograph there is unique. With its amazing 3d effect pictures come to life. You can be as creative as you want otherwise there is a standard pose which is displayed there which you can get yourself clicked. You don't need to be a photographer to click a perfect 3d shot as the museum has marked a perfect place against each photograph from where any novice can click an amazing 3d photo. No shoes and baggage allowed inside. Better to buy ticket online it will cost less. Amazing place never seen something like that before in India.

500Bht entrance, I didn't know what to expect so I'll tell you! Two floors of 3D illusions, and 90% you can take part in. I was given my own personal guide, who arranged me in the various poses and took photos with my phone. A great way to while away some time in Phuket!

Imagination is the most important Must download the AR museam app as well. Let's travel a lot. Check in the hotel, travel together You can use a discount coupon with a promotion 1 get 1. Great for $15 per person 1500 THB per person. There were a alot of awesome things on display here. The artwork is really cool and interesting/ interactive. If you get a chance you should visit. You can also pay by card and they have free parking right out front of the Museum. Definitely worth stopping by and a great great place for kids. I can't stress that enough. Had fun today! Thanks!

Really really difficult to find. Got a taxi from Patong to Central mall, spend 2 hours trying ro located it on Google maps, and from website location. Streets were locked, and nobody heard 9f it. Google maps and website had 2 different locations, tried them both. Just gave up and wasted a day.

Can take an array of pictures with optical illusions as effects. Great way to spend the afternoon with your family as can have plenty of fun doing animations to the illustrations. Place is air conditioned so can get away from the heat outside. Price is slightly higher for foreign tourists than locals. Would recommend this place to my friends.

Came to the museum expecting it to be 180 baht like it is online (Agoda), they wanted to charge 500 baht for the white tax (Thai people get in for 180). I don't want to support this racist business so I didn't pay. I've seen a few places like this around Thailand but not somewhere that charges this much more!!

Very kind and helpful staff, 500 B per person a little bit high cost comparing to the available sections but in general loved the 3D paintings. Advise to visit it I visit it during weekdays not crowded

Google needs updating! It opens at 10am, it's not called Trick eye anymore! We really enjoyed it! Felt weird someone been with us all the way around, but it makes sense, they take the photos!! However, this doesn't mean they are good photos! Really good couple of hours!

If you are really keen on visiting this place then you can surely give it a try. But for folks who are visiting this place just for namesake, I wouldn't really recommend. The entry fee charged is pretty high, and it does not equate with the experience it offers.

One of attraction in Phuket. With 500 bath per person, you can walk around and take picture as you like. They may as you to take off your shoes. If you like to take photo, this is one of the good place.. maybe spend 1,5-2 hours here. With small kids ( mine is 3years ) , they dont understand and tiring for them since the area is quite big. But for oldies who like to take picture, they’ll love it. Depends on the person like to have a photo or not.

Well in this age of AR and snapchat/Instagram many of the millennials will not feel anything wow about it. It's mainly made for the elders and the middle aged school students. Although the AR in the museum is fantastic but I personally would skip it and chill on the Patong beach.

👍👍 A well-maintained, glittering Thai Bhuddist temple and stupas. The prayer hall is lovely, being so serene and uncluttered with the golden Buddah gazing over the red carpeted floor. Its not on big grounds, like many other temples, but its clean, shining and worth admiring.
