The Amazing Bike Tours. My first riding activity in Phuket. The tour guide (Prou) and the driver (I am so sorry I had forgotten his name) speaks very good English and very helpful. They have different package you can choose from a half day tour at Phuket (approx. 14km ride) to a full day tour at the outer island (approx 40km ride). I chose the half day tour in Phuket. You don't need to bring much for the ride, just need to drag yourself out of bed with sport wear is enough. They have every thing you need such as helmet, water, and gel seat pad. Before the day, they will ask your height so that they can bring the correct bike for you. They will ask you full name so that you can be insure for the ride. The ride is a mix of dirt and road. While you are on the road, an escort car will follow you. There are two stops during my ride, fresh fruit was served and of cause refilling water. One thing I have to mention that whenever we see village people, they are very friendly and greet us with Chinese. It was a very nice ride and I will come back for a even long ride next time.

I would highly recommend this tour even if you're not the strongest rider, as long as you can ride a bike this tour will be perfect for you. The guide we had, Min, was excellent and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. You mainly get fruit for snacks so I recommend bringing some snacks which you can leave in the van. Theres plenty of water provided along the way. Do it if you get the chance!!

Lots of fun! Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys beautiful views and exercise! Our guide, Meng was very helpful and insightful. He provided great context on places we visited. We did the half day (roughly 20 km) and recommend this for anyone that hasn't cycled for awhile. For those who are more experienced cyclists - the full day may be a better choice.

We had an incredible time riding from Bangkok to Phuket in February. In our group, we were two couples on tandems and the other two on single bikes, excluding James, our guide. What an adventure! Great company, great weather, great group dynamic and great food. We could not have asked for a better scenario. About the food, it is a culinary experience. We loved it. James and Wan were awesome by the way. Never stressed. Always under control. Always finding ways to encourage us. Always making sure we were happy. They nailed it. We would definitely recommend this trip.

Riding 840 km in 9 days (including the rest day), with an amazing support team, fantastic food and great accommodation was a unique experience that we had in February 2020 with Amazing Bike Tour.  As tandem riders in out late 50's, we were seeing this first 'fully supported' experience from Bangkok to Phuket as a big challenge. I have to say that Amazing Bike Tour (thanks James!) made it easier by taking good care of our needs, making this tour one of the most memorable highlight of our 6 weeks trip to Thailand. They even modified the bike rack on their support van, to accommodate our tandem (Wow! We do not see that every day). We proudly completed this challenge (for us that is...) with very good memories of this experience. Great scenery, nice back road, amazing support all along and an awsome culinary experience of Thai food (thank Wan!), are other reasons we highly recommend Amazing Bike Tour and their team!

We did a tour of Ko Yao Noi in March and although it was warm we had a great ride. It was kind of a long drive (over an hour) from the south side of Phuket to get to the ferry, and then an hour on the ferry, but the island was nice and relatively quiet so worth the time to get there. Guide (Proud) was great and speaks English amazingly well. The snack and lunch spots were fabulous, as was the food. Bikes were decent quality, though in need of a little maintenance. I would take this trip again.

Was a great amazing adventure. I really enjoyed the bike ride around the island and saw so many things. The tour guide was excellent, he explained everything and answered all our questions. Has also very helpful. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see another side of Thailand. Very happy

This is my long overdue review of the Bangkok to Phuket cycle ride with Amazing Bike tours. That I've done this trip more than once is testament to what a great biking experience this is. Everything about the trip is superb; James as guide and lead cyclist and Wan as the driver and support, looking after us throughout the trip with snacks, drinks and funny jokes/stories as well as sourcing the best places to enjoy the most amazing Thai cuisine (especially my fave Thai Green Curry hahaha). I don't really enjoy Thai food outside of Thailand as a result of what we enjoyed on these trips - its your fault Wan (o::::: The scenery is dramatic and varied and although the cycling can be challenging at times (especially if the weather is hot), you're in the best care and the Support van is always close by. Other things to mention.. the bikes provided are in tip top condition and cleaned / maintained daily by James, the standard of hotel accommodation is second to none and the ability to see a large part of the beautiful landscape of Thailand from the saddle just can't be beaten. I would recommend this trip wholeheartedly; I Hope to hook up with James and Wan on one of their other excellent bike trips - they deserve every success

Great 3 day S Thailand road trip well supported in every way by James and Won. James rode with us and offered lots of moral support as well as lots of background info on eg the tsunami. Won made sure we were well fed and watered - food was excellent throughout. Good hotels. Everyone was happy with the hire bikes. And if anyone is worrying about safety on the S Thai roads, drivers were largely very careful and, for example, way better than in AU!

My husband and I have done about 6 rides with Amazing Bike Tours and everyone of them was organised to perfection. Picked up on time, good bikes, fantastic guides, yummy snacks and plenty of drinks. Meal stops were always really good. You never feel rushed and arrive home on a high from a great day/s out. Well worth it.
