Not as bad as I thought. It's on the right if you are coming from Yanui side, so before the seaview elephant camp. The chained monkeys at the entrance are an eye sore I agree but everything else wasnt that bad. We paid 3000 B for 2 adults and 2 kids for 30 mins elephant ride, snake show and baby elephant show. The ride first: it's a small round that you take but I loved the fact that each elephant was first given water and small water shower and then fed before we left for the round. My daughter's slippers fell midway and the elephant sweetly picked it up with his trunk and gave it to her (while she was seated above...). Next was the snake show where the trainer did his best to get the snakes some moves. Did succeed a bit. And we got a pic each for 50B. And then the cute elephant show. In all, it's worth the money and time. I know they are captive but on the bright side, apart from the captive monkeys, all was well. Plus emoluments. Plus revenue. Plus tourism. Do visit here. ABUSE. CRUELTY. EVIL. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT IS FULL OF ANIMAL ABUSE, CRUELTY, TORTURE, AND TERRINLE SUFFERING FOR ALL THE ANIMALS HERE. How the Thai authorities haven't shut this place down is disgusting. Phuket government should be ashamed of itself. Anybody that goes here is supporting evil and deserves the same treatment.

The place is not as run down as what we read in the reviews. Its in the middle of the jungle so of cos its sheds and huts. I read that elephant had to undergo tough and cruel training from young. But i dont see them being ill treated when we were taking the ride. Before the ride, they had a drink of water and a snack and the rider was even singing a tune to the elephant during the trek.

Please next time you wanna see wild animals get some research done ! Every place that allows you to ride, cuddle take pictures, hug wild animals, that make animals do tricks are not treating animals with respect. Wild animals need to be brokeyn or drugged to accept this kind of treatment. Next time, think about them before your own pleasure. Animals are not ours. Real sanctuaries are very rare, most just pretend to be.

Disgusting place and should be shut down! Monkeys in tiny cages with chains around their necks. An elephant was on his own with no space to walk, chains around his legs with his ears being pulled and poked with a metal stick. The snake show was literally just a 10minute show where a worker was provoking the snake by hitting them on the head. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable before and I’m disgusted to have witnessed it. Avoid avoid avoid!

This place is terrible. If I could, I would give zero. The animals are all chained up around their neck or leg. The elephants have to do 14, 30 minute rides each day (this is recorded on their chalkboard). The ''petting zoo" is a cage of deer with no food or water and there is hardly any space for them to move. What was worse was the tourists here. Throwing bananas at the monkeys on chains and laughing how mistreated they are. We have left straight away. Please do not support this place by coming here.

They abuse elephants here. So not support. They hit them with hooks and keep them chained with little room to move. Do not give them your money. Go to a elephant sanctuary instead. AVOID.

If you like animals and elephants please do NOT visit here. The conditions are bad and they clearly do not care about their animals

Better to call this place Phuket Animal Prison. Monkeys with neck chains and elephants chained to the ground next to a busy road. Many other options and sanctuaries to interact with animals and specifically elephants that isn’t so cruel!

My partner and I arrived at this place as part of a city tour and were not expecting a “safari” where every animal is mistreated. These poor elephants were being ridden and when this was not occurring they were chained by the ankle in a filthy area, forced to perform tricks (by having their ears pulled) for other customers who obviously do not notice the cruelty. This is also the case for the monkeys who are chained in tiny cages in disgusting conditions. I refused to participate in anything this place had to offer. Please visit ethical places such as the Elephant Retirement Park who save these tortured elephants. I cannot believe that places like these still exist and I would not have gone on the city tour if this was going to be a part of it!!
