The good: Tiny beach. Great snorkeling, right off shore. Clean water, many beautiful fish. The bad: May be the filthiest beach I’ve seen in Thailand. Trash everywhere, even around the restaurant. A dozen huts/houses in ruins. 100 baht for the dirtiest beach chair ever sitting in sand filled with bottle caps, cigarette butts and construction waste. Bring a towel, snorkel and leave, or skip it and go to Yanui and Nui, both nearby and much, much nicer. Why don’t they simply haul out the trash and clean this place up? Could be great.

The road was a little tricky getting in and out on a bike with two people - lots of traffic. But once you parked and got down to the beach it was pretty gorgeous. Quiet and lots of shaded spots to enjoy the view without getting roasted by the sun. A lot of rocks and beautiful water makes for some pretty photos. The bathroom situation isn’t the greatest, but, you make good with what you have!

Best place for snorkeling and freediving on South Phuket, many fishes and underwater spots to discover. If you are going to this place, have your coral shoes with you, as some areas of the beach has sharp stones.

Beautiful Gem 💎 hidden beach 🏝️ that you have to go down with by scooter or by walk. Very rocky and apparently famous for snorkeling 🤿 to see beautiful corals. The beach 🏖️ is pretty empty and have beds to rent. Must try ! Family or couples are welcome. The food is good too !

I like these pebbly-coral-sandy beaches, lots of fish, beautiful corals, great for snorkeling. ..when there is wind there are high waves. ...the whole infrastructure is rubbish, the sanitary facilities are difficult to identify as such, rubbish and scrap piles up around the loungers. ...so I didn't dare to go to the "restaurant". take the towel, go snorkeling and go home! So this location is a great experience !!

One of the best places for snorkelling in Phuket without having to go to other islands. So many fish and a mix of dead and alive coral. The water is turquoise every time we go, even on wavy days. The beach has a lot of shade and also sunbeds for rent. It takes a short hilly ride from Nai Harn beach to get there so it feels like a bit of a secret beach. Highly recommend for snorkellimg or just swimming/relaxing by the blue waters 🐠🌊

Not a good beach, it’s completely filthy dirty with trash everywhere. But…it’s amazing for snorkeling, just be careful the corals will slice you open, don’t go out during high surf. Otherwise, it’s fantastic.

I’ve never seen so much fish until visited Ao Sane. Really beyond my expectations! Just like put myself in the big aquarium and swam with fish. It was an unforgettable experience!

Awesome beach for snorkelling, and it wasn't to busy when we went. The sand is quite sharp and unpleasant underfoot, but the amazing snorkelling just off the beach more than made up for it. The restaurant on the beach is also quite good and fairly reasonably priced.

Nice beach. Entry is free. Sand has large particles, water entry is shallow and has some rocks. There is somewhat inexpencive cafe there. For snorkeling, head to the right side of the beach and swim forward.

Tricky to find this beautiful beach, you have to drive through the hotel gate, I am not sure if it’s a private road or public.

Really Nice snorkling beach 1 meter out and you see reefs and alot of fishes squids, you can rent a sunbed for 100 baht and there's 1 resturant with cheap food and taste really good and looked like you could rent fins and snorkling gear from them to

December 2022. A remote beach that is difficult to reach on foot. Quite small but extremely picturesque. good place for snorkeling, but not great for swimming. There is practically no infrastructure. There are sun loungers and you can buy drinks and snacks, but half of the buildings are destroyed, a lot of rubbish and in general looks like an abandoned place. At the same time, the place is almost empty, there are only a few people, a paradise for an introvert.

Firstly, This is not sand! It's fine gravel. Lovely beach, although a bit run down, with some "ruins" of constructions just behind it. Lots of rocks but still a few accessible points in the water. Bring your snorkeling set if you want to make this trip worth it! :)

Parking spaces for only 10 cars. Otherwise park at Nai Harn and walk 15min. Slightly up hill. Raw beach with limited “groomed” shaded areas. This snorkel spot I prefer during high tide as the beauty is to the right by the rocks so close to shore. It drops fairly soon with not much to see. Large fish and many starfish - all used to people so just float and enjoy. Restaurant and bathroom.

Awesome beach. Not so soft sand, therefore perfect for snorkeling. You"ll find various colorful and beautiful fish here, but beware of the very sharp rocks underneath you, otherwise they can give you serious cuts etc. and this will be the shortest and last day for some time at the beach...

  • 4/5 M S. 9 months ago on Google
Very nice secluded beach. But it's not great for swimming because of all the big rocks. There's not much for food or drinks here, but there is a small restaurant selling Thai food and drinks.

It used to be one of the best accessible place for snorkeling in South Phuket, but it's been completely taken over by real estate investors, and more and more boats are coming to destroy the coral by dropping their anchors.

One of the top spots on Pucket for snorkeling. A peaceful little cove tucked away down a tiny little road. Chair rental and drinks available on the beach. A bit confusing to navigate to given that you have to wind your way through a couple of nearby resorts. In places the road seems limited access but is in fact open to all traffic. Well worth it. A real gem for snorkeling right from the beach!

5/5 stars if you want to go to the beach for snorkelling/diving. 3/5 otherwise. Small beach with both rocks and sand. Very much coral and fish just a couple of meters out in the water. Got a place or two to eat on which was ok. Overall okay. We did some scuba diving here which was great. Snorkelling was also good! Almost no parking though so take taxi or similar.

A cute nice little beach ⛱ with some sunbeds and a little restaurant. Many people did snorkeling by the beach, so it seems to have a interesting underwater world too.

Great little beach with excellent snorkeling right off the beach. Get there early to get a nice spot before it gets too crowded. If you're lucky you'll also get to see the wing foil surfers. Don't bother hiking to the next beach as it's tiny and noisy due to construction up the hill.

  • 5/5 Florina A. 1 year ago on Google
By far, one of the greatest beaches for snorkeling lovers! Lots of fish and corals. The sunset is wonderfull as well. A secluded beach with one option for food & drinks. Even if the restaurant doesn't look so pretty on a first look, the drinks & food were surprisingly good and cheap.

Nice beach looks like a hotel road or private road but it's fine a bit narrow and not recommend to go here if busy you might not get out easy. Beach is nice cove with food and drink with shade . There seems to be a small dive center there as well. Plenty of people snorkeling so bring your mask.

A rather small beach with a few Rocky formations. There's not enough room for a lot of people. Wouldn't recommend this beach as there are other great beaches nearby.

  • 4/5 Hoai L. 4 years ago on Google
Lovely beach, not crowded. The water is clean and clear, no jellyfish. I didn't know how to swim but I could see some nice fishes from the very close shore already. There is a small restaurant serving food and drinks there. Staff was not so friendly though

I fell in love with this tiny beach. In my opinion boulders and stones only add to its charm. Two sandy descents to water, perfect for kids. Guaranteed peace that will not be disturbed by other tourists. Local restaurant right next to the beach. A few sunbeds and good access with a small car park. It is worth seeing, relaxing in peace and listening to the sound of the waves place
