Went here for a Christmas Dinner. No juice on tables, no choice of starter, or dessert. Food was obviously butcher packs, not fresh cooked joints. Not what I want from a 4 star Hotel. That said, most Xmas dinners out are hurried affairs, but need to say, I have had better and cheaper. Belmont is a lovely hotel, and I hope my experience was the exception rather than the rule.

The Belmont Hotel has beautiful surroundings. The decor and atmosphere are nice, clean and friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant on Saturday night, as a party of 10 and the food was lovely, very few complaints. The service was amazing. I Would recommend.

Only had food here so sadly, I can't say anything about the rooms. The food was very nice and the staff were helpful. Sadly, we were in the bar downstairs as the restaurant was fully booked. So was a bit of a letdown as it had no atmosphere.

We enjoyed a very pleasant, tasty and reasonably priced brunch. The staff were also welcoming and there is plentiful free parking. In our experience, this is the best location for brunch in the Banbridge area.

Went for Christmas Dinner with a party of roughly 25 people. As expected the hall was heaving, I'll come back to that later. When we sat, starters were thrown out so fast, soup was spilling out of the bowls onto the tables. The soup itself was over salted. To then point it would sting your lips, most people in the party could not finish it. The waitors then started clearing the table, while people, eho could eat the salty broth, were still eating, and taking their bowls away while still eating. No consideration for them. The mains were served almost immediately, 1 man carrying a mountain of plates nearly dropping them a multiple of times, the meats were dished out that fast, gravy was spilling onto a few of the guests, burning them! As an ex silver service waitor, these sort accidents can happen, but after 1, you slow down, take more due diligence, more care, this did not happen. Potatoes were served to which some were raw. Not even hard, it was raw potato. 1 member had to wait at least 10 minutes to get his, as they ran out, and he had to go up and ask for them. 2 options for veg, sprouts and carrots. No gravy was brought out, we had to ask, 3 gravy boats for a table of 25. I was always trained 1 gravy boat for 4 people. The meat itself felt like it had been in a water bath for over 5 hours, as it had no texture. Dessert options were unclear on the menu. We thought we were ordering a choice of, Christmas pudding cheese cake, salted caramel profiteroles or mixed Berry meringue. We all were not expecting a trio of entries size deserts. This should have been alot clearer on the menu, or told to the organiser that it was a trio, not individual. The dairy free desert was a fruit salad, which i find uacceptable and lack of foresight for those with a lactose intolerance. I believe the Belmont booked in too many tables at once and were overwhelmed. We came last year and had a pleasant experience, this year, not so much. We felt rushed, as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. I will not be returning next year for a mediocre meal with terrible service.

A couple of friends and I went for bar snack. The food was amazing and the service was really prompt. Albeit it was mid week and may be a little slower on a weekend when it's flat out.

Went here for a work colleagues surprise birthday party. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All the food served looked delicious and excellent portions. I myself had the seafood risotto and I must say, it was absolutely delicious and filling with a portion of gorgeous garlic bread on the side. Highly recommend the restaurant. Can't comment on the rooms as I wasn't staying over but the decor and cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent.

Been a few times to the Belmont and never disappointed. The staff are great and welcoming. The rooms are pleasant some with very small shower rooms, but adequate, supplied with shower gel and shampoo. The rooms we have stayed in all have a pleasant outlook. The beds are firm. The food is delicious and we really appreciate the separate bowls of vegetables. It's always been served quickly and hot. I was disappointed to find there is not a sitting area any more on the ground floor and only a small are downstairs and on the 1st floor landing, but saying that we will be back.

Sunday lunch. Too salty (and I like salt!). Pork dry. Strong garlic taste from stuffing and apple sauce! Yorkshire pudding hard and dry. Much better places in banbridge to go for Sunday lunch

Lovely food. Can eat in the bar downstairs or upstairs in the seated area which is alot more pleasant. Have dined here several times and never had a dish that I haven't enjoyed. Average price based on the going rate for the town. Pleasant service so can't complain.

Stayed overnight at Belmont House Hotel which is very close to shops and shuttle for Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Lovely grounds around the Hotel. Great car parking available. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Service in dining room really good, food came to the table quickly and piping hot. The chicken soup and chicken with whiskey sauce were the best we've ever eaten. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

We booked a table last minute on fathers day and got seated in wonderful, comfortable, well decorated and furnished bar downstairs. Great customer service, lovely calming ambience & delicious good portioned dishes at very competitive prices. Will definitely recommend and call again.

You can easily forget that you're in the centre of town as soon as you drive into the well kept grounds. The decoration inside feels traditional with a modern twist. I didn't stay in the hotel , I just went for lunch. I was welcomed and seated straight away by a very friendly young girl, who brought menus over and took a drinks order. We had brie wedges for starters then a pulled pork bap and one of the specials of chicken in a bacon and mushroom sauce with mash and tobacco onions. Well presented. The meat of both melted in your mouth and the portions were huge. Very well priced too. If you're an OAP then you get a main from the specials and a dessert for £11.50!!! We were so full, we ordered dessert to take home. Staff - friendly and welcoming. Food - delicious and plenty of it. Restaurant - clean and tidy. Wheelchair friendly. Ask if they have any window seats available if you're in during the day.

Visited here to photograph a wedding last week. Staff that I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Venue to the rear is quite modern inside twinned with the old manor house and gardens at the front serving as a great backdrop for photos. 5/5

We had a group meal at the Belmont House Hotel and the standard was superb. We were all greeted upon entry and immediately directed to our table in the opulent dining room. Food was faultless and very reasonably priced - we will definitely be back! Thanks again to Mike and all the team for sorting our booking.
