We met up with friends who we hadn't seen for several years. The interior looked very smart but as it was a lovely day we sat outside. The food & service were excellent. Would recommend The Red Lion to anyone.

What an amazing pub. Bar staff were so polite and friendly. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend it if you want a lovely meal.

Nice afternoon meal here today. Good portions and tasty. Staff were mostly stood around the bar which made it strange that we waited a while for our table to be cleared. A bit pricey for pub food but maybe a bit posh for us.

Breakfast with daughter and family 3&7 boys. Good service. Quiet. Hot food. Got the table I reserved, so all good.

What a lovely Sunday lunch, service was fantastic all the staff were extremely friendly and lovely to our little boy. The food was tasty & pipping hot. The homemade rhubarb cheesecake was delicious. We will definitely be back

Went in for breakfast. Excellent sausage which I feel is a very good indicator of quality. Good coffee and reasonably priced. Toilets were clean and fresh. Everyone we met was so friendly. Recommended.

I recommend this pub to everyone I speak with. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help in every way and offer a brilliant service. The food is always delicious and cooked to a high standard. Both the inside and outside area provide a fantastic spot for a drink or something to eat. The music played in the pub also adds to the fantastic atmosphere. The best pub in the area.

Popped in for lunch with my cousin. Wonderful welcome and they managed to squeeze us in on a busy day. I had the fish platter starter and it was INCREDIBLE. Only issue i have leaving this review is that it doesn't let me award enough stars! This truly is a hidden gem and I'm already looking for an excuse to be backbin the area. Highly recommended for service, quality, and value. We booked the Red Lion for a funeral wake of 50-60 people on a Saturday afternoon. I was amazed how Sheryl and her team made it so incredibly straightforward and easy to arrange. She had all the details already thought out, so I barely had to think for myself! On the day, everything was flawless. The layout was perfectly setup, there were enough staff, and the finger food was lovely and all the guests were going back for seconds. Finally, the pricing was extremely good value.
