We have used Jaipur for over a decade now as our go to Indian take away, and although the food is nice, over the last 12 months pretty much every delivery arrives with items missing. Despite numerous apologies and promises, despite them knowing we are regular customers, along with a second delivery of the missing items, this will be the last time we order from them. Food good, customer service awful and would avoid them for delivery services. UPDATE: FEB 2022. So me being quiet the fair chance type of person, we decided to give them another go, a few months had passed and we hoped things had changed so we ordered delivery. The good stuff: so the food arrived quiet promptly and the food was very tasty, however! THE BAD STUFF: the containers were only half full and yet again there were items missing. (Rice and Mango chutney) We called the restaurant and after initially trying to convince them we were not lying and them checking the bill, they agreed it was short. They then proceeded to say they could not deliver the items as their driver was busy, and said they couldn’t refund. Their solution was to say next time we order just mention it was short and they will not charge for the rice and chutney. Unbelievable! I asked what if the person taking the order next time isn’t aware or doesn’t believe us. All we were told was it’s ok. It’s pretty safe to say that we won’t be using this place again and the best thing to happen would be it closed for good. They don’t deserve anyones business. The way they treat customers now is as bad as their ability to deliver what they were paid to deliver. When you think something can’t get any worse, it clearly can. If anyone can make a recommendation for an alternative restaurant I would be grateful. PLEASE PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM, EXPECT TO BE DISAPPOINTED AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED.

Wakk down the street and found thus little gem. Clean throughout and happy to help staff. We went for the Set Menu B For Two Persons Price: £ 32.90 (when we visited) 1 Chicken Chat 1 Sheek Kebab 2 Papadoms 1 Chicken Tikka Balti 1 Lamb Tikka Massala 1 Sag Aloo 1 Pilau Rice 1 Nan We also had a 660ml bottle of Corbra and a Maibu and Coke. The food arrived quite quick for the amount of customers that where eating/ had ordered. Well it was loads of food for the price and we will definitely be back when we can. Keep up the great work.

Sadly the Quality of food has gone downhill past few years. Tonight's meal of chicken Korma was very watery and tasteless. I think now is the time I be going somewhere else for my curry.

Utterly bad experience yesterday. Because we like the food in the town, we sometimes visit this place. The old man with white beard behaves rude with us not only for a day but every time. Firstly, he doesn’t smile at all when we visit, he might be with other British people. When we asked for soda water with lime slice in it, he gave totally different drink with some sweet sugar syrup. We told him that this is not what we’ve ordered, and then he started behaving more rude by saying that “you think that I don’t understand what is soda water, this is what you’ve asked”. And during our all the visits he asks “okay, you are going to share” - what does this mean? We eat our food whatever the way we like, is that because we don’t order enough food? After his unacceptable rude behaviour, we didn’t feel comfortable eating there and requested to pay the bill before the food came. Other two guys requested us to eat peacefully and also gave us generous discount which we didn’t comfortable to pay either. All in all, because of that rude old man, this was our last visit of this restaurant.

Stopped by for a meal whilst travelling through Banbury on our narrowboat. So glad we did. The meal was first class and the service outstanding. Lovely restaurant.

Took my girlfriend out for dinner here after I finished work. I had chicken tikka madras, she had butter chicken. The tikka madras was perfect, I can't complain at all! The flavour was intense and very spicy (as I like it) with the chicken cooked to perfection. Unfortunately my girlfriend was a bit disappointed, since the chicken was a wee bit chewy. Otherwise, we had a nice time.

Good value for money, that being said charging any more wouldn’t be. The quality is average, too much sauce in the curries and food is just generally lacking any fresh flavour. The quantity of food including freebees and low cost grants it a 4 star, but on quality and taste alone it would be a 3.

Awfully disappointing… normally lovely but this time around lamb was like Lego blocks. Ordered a vindaloo and what came was a run of the mill, hardly any spice plain curry….. not a vindaloo…. Felt like there was no effort or care just slap a bit of dry overcooked lamb meat in a curry sauce and send it out. Chucked it in the bin

Ordered a take away , 4 of the smallest pieces of chicken with each main ( which was like a starter ) - a very over priced meal and won't be using JP again

We are regulars here. We have tried several starters here like tikka fish, chicken pakora, king prawn puree, Samosa. For main course we love duck tawa and king prawn tawa plain with garlic bread. We order a bottle of house white wine and bottle of cobra. Service is always excellent and friendly. You get value for money there.

Used to live in town but moved away 4 years ago. Forgot then how useless Jaypur were at delivering within the quote timescale. Just came back to town for a visit, ordered food 90 minutes ago, delivery is now over half an hour past latest quoted delivery time. And guess what? When you call to chase, the order is ‘on its way’ bog standard response. Past hungry now and not impressed

40 minutes early on delivery, and my guests had not arrived. Nothing written on outters, so I no idea who had what! Taste bland. Cost 58 quid should have been 50.70...I felt they were rude on the phone as I wanted to pay with a card, NOONE has cash anymore, all together a waste of money and spoilt our Christmas eve, a proper poor experience!

Chips were horrendous and I'm currently cooking my own to go with my meal , curry's are very watery and have no body , for a 40 quid order I expect more , maybe a bad delivery but it's all it takes for me to stay away .

Awful dry under spiced. And don’t get me started on the tiny freezer shop samosas. Ordered mid week early evening so should have have taken time to do an easy half decent job but absolutely just like people’s money instead 🫤
