The food was lovely really fresh and tasty huge portion more than pleased with price and my boys say that the girls serving are really lovely and very friendly 😊 Definitely recommend them and can't wait for next time. Thank you for the excellent service and food.

A nice sized portion of chips only downside the size of the scallops ( personally) I like a thin one so never ordered one really fancied one 😁

I travel past four or five chippies to go to A&C. Lovely food, good range and polite service to old fashioned standards. Can't fault them.

The worst lunch box ever!! The fish was grey with soggy batter. The chips were floppy and as for the mushy peas, i cannot believe how bad they were, they looked like they had green artificial colouring added to them. Inedible to say the least, apart from the sausage, which was ok. just ok. Bad, Bad, Bad and highly unlikely that we will use this place again. The staff are always friendly and you can see they all work hard. No stars for the food at all.

In my opinion the best chippy for miles around. Been going there for over 30 years. Great food and great staff.

I've been here several times over the last 5 years & I can only say it's 'consitantly excellent!' much to my surprise. It sets the standard for most of the rest to aim for. I'm a bit of a fish & chip shop coniser & rate it as good, all round, as the best I know of. On top of that their prices are often a bit lower. What's to find fault with? Sometimes it's a bit difficult to park outside LOL.

First time I've used them as I'm new to the area and live a fair way out. Was not disappointed. Small cod and chips was more than enough ( I had Savaloy as well😬) and proper curry sauce. Ate half in a layby the rest of the cod still warm enough by the time I got home, refried chips for breakfast tomorrow as I'm stuffed. Spot on fresh and hot and plenty of it👍👍

This is the best chip shop in Banbury. The people and so helpful and friendly. The food is second to none and your always remembered with a smile. That's why I've given them a 5*. Try the Scampi.😊

Just having a weekend Jolly in Avon Dassett and nipped in to AC’s for a chippy tea. The best Haddock and Chips with mushy peas ever. Considering Banbury is about as far as you’ll get from the Sea in England, the Fish was top drawer. We’ll be back from Crewe👍

Amazing food is always hot, has good portion sizes and is fresh. The staff are very friendly.

Had fish and chips from there yesterday 10th December and they were tasty I only asked for a mini fish with my chips, but even so there was a good amount of fish meat in the batter, which was crisp and light, I wasn't disappointed I ate every bit, as I normally leave the batter.
