It's a little more expensive than the big supermarkets but they are open longer and tend to have most of the essentials. The staff are also very friendly, which is a bonus. 4 stars because sometimes they'll leave expired deals on display so you have to be on the ball with what you're getting charged.

Went in here to buy some wine and the male staff were so lovely when serving me, however when I went back in later on and bought another bottle of wine a female member of staff who was there earlier on approached me and said something along the lines of " you know if you're going to swap the bottles you have to pay for them" basically accusing me of stealing. She then continued to question what I was doing and I was told her I was getting a bottle of wine, she was so rude to me even though I genuinely hadn't done anything wrong. Not usually one to complain but was just appalled at how she spoke to me just because I didn't look of age to buy alcohol and had previously been in that day.

I’m lucky enough for this to be my local ‘corner shop’ where I find myself picking up the bits I always seem to forget when I go to Tesco etc Staff are always friendly and helpful, and if you’re a regular as I am, always remember you and what you’ve been up to - that level of customer service alone makes it worth paying a bit more for some things than you would in a supermarket It also reminds you exactly what the COOP stands for, it’s community and the people they serve within it. Plus who doesn’t love going in for their amazing £5/10 deals on food which make for a perfect night in on the sofa?

I live very close to this store and it’s very convenient. If I go in there for a particular item the shelves are pretty much bare all the time so then have to go elsewhere to buy the item I need. I literally popped in today for bread again hardly any choice. The choice I had was 80p Co op own bread or half loves. It’s not just bread it’s with everything. I only go to this shop as it’s so close. This isn’t a one off this is every time I have to go somewhere else so frustrating. On the other hand the staff are very nice and helpful.

Went in to return a parcel to Evri. Hadn't used the machine before, young assistant named Cara, came over and showed us what to do. Excellent service from this young lady, she deserves a rise.

The lady who I always see working there is so friendly to customers and great with conversations, always brightening people’s day, do recommend.
