Was not pleased with the room I was assigned as a conference member and requested an upgrade. The front desk staff worked very hard to find me an upgraded accommodation with success. They really went the extra mile. Special thanks to Skye for her patience and perseverance in attending to my needs. The hotel and setting are magnificent but it's really the staff who make the experience special. All are well trained, knowledgeable, professional and engaging. All of the conference details and meals were seamless and I had a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Besides being a gorgeous hotel with an incredible backdrop, everything about the hotel is first class. Everything you need is right there in and you need never leave if you don’t want to. The food and service in the restaurants is tremendous. The staff is impeccable from the spa, to the restaurants to the front desk, to the maid service, to the valet. The outdoor pool is a do not miss. Yoga in the morning is perfect. The hotel decoration, preservation of history is beautiful and surprisingly hip. Just loved everything about this place.

Phenomenal, regal hotel in a picturesque location. We held our wedding ceremony and reception here and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Barb- the conference services manager- was a delight to work with and was immensely helpful through multiple reschedules due to the pandemic. The day was perfection and every guest raved about their experience. Furthermore, the staff here is exceptional and deserves commendation. They embody true Canadian hospitality and set the bar on service. We are sad to leave, but know we will definitely be back again soon.

We had an incredible stay at this amazing property! From the moment arrived, we received service like we haven't experienced in decades! The historical tour of the hotel was amazingly interesting and encouraged us to see more than a typical resort stay would allow. The property was pristine and our stay was amazing. Our spa experience was top notch. Dining at 1888 was our favorite of the trip. The Fairmont Gold floor, it's amenities, the staff and OUTSTANDING service was premiere!!! We would love to come back soon! Thanks for a lifetime experience!!!

I had my wedding here. It was an amazing experience. We ended up with a really nice and spacious room with modern touches. The staff were amazing at helping out with our wedding and making sure everything went smoothly and it did. The meal for our wedding could not have been better. Amazing food with lots of options to choose from. Overall the hotel is a really interesting place and is worth spending a night here atleast once. We had two nights here so we got to experience the different restaurants in the building. I'm so glad we chose to have our wedding here. If I was to do it over again I wouldn't change anything.

A truly magical holiday spent in a truly magical hotel. Felt 100% safe at the hotel with all of the protocols in place and the service we experienced everywhere was above and beyond. Room was spacious and updated. Large bathroom and great views. Room service deserves a shout out as the food was some of the best I had during my stay. Loved every moment.

My wife and I got married at this hotel. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone was very welcoming, quick to respond, and friendly. The spa was very flexible in accommodating our hair/makeup schedules, and a perfect romantic retreat for messages the day after. Our guestroom was stunning. Working with Dianne, our event manager, was seamless. She was very knowledgeable, responsive and organized. The event staff were highly professional, the food & beverages were exceptional, and the venue was gorgeous. Our wedding could not have been more perfect.

We absolutely loved staying at Banff Springs. We started our trip to Banff at a more 'cabin' feel, and we ended at the Banff Springs. It was much more of a five star experience! We took advantage of the dining, shopping, spa and golf course. All were great. The valet was also very easy to work with, having our car ready whenever we needed it, even if it was the next day. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the property was beautiful, and it had all the best amenities. We will definitely be returning!

My family (wife and two kids) spent our March Break at Fairmont Banff Springs. We all had the most amazing time. The hotel was in impeccable condition. The hotel staff were very helpful and gracious. And, the hotel amenities were great - especially for two younger kids. Our room was very comfortable and well kept. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Thank you.

My wife and I participated in the Exclusive Guided Adventure Tour with Alex and the Wildlife Corridor Tour with Laurie. We love the outdoors and admittedly hike a lot however only being in Banff for the week we opted to get a guide to show us around and we had an incredible time thanks to Alex’s knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing his love for the area. He took us on a beautiful hike 1.5 hours away from the hotel that included stops for pictures and his sharing the history of different landmarks. If that wasn’t enough to convince us that we made the right choice to get his help, there were at least 3 other couples along our hike who were struggling to find the right trail to go on and see the sights they were looking for. We will not go on vacation to a new area again without finding a guide like Alex to help us make the most of our time in an area and get the best of what that local area has to offer. In the early evening, we participated in the Wildlife Corridor Tour with Laurie who took us on an incredible tour of the hotel grounds. She was equally entertaining and enjoyable to speak with as she shared her love for the area and educating us on the local wildlife. We enjoyed a light evening snack while also getting to learn about the landscape and history of the hotel and area. In both tours, we look forward to getting the opportunity again to take advantage of these tours and learning more about the area from those who are fortunate enough to live in it. We were extremely pleased and grateful for their time and getting the opportunity to learn from them both on each of these tours. Cannot recommend it enough to anyone who might want to make the most of their time while they’re visiting Banff.

My husband surprised me with a stay at your beautiful hotel during out trip to Banff. It was absolutely outstanding. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was gorgeous, and the view was just stunning. We were located near some construction that was actively happening during the day, which kept us out of the room most of the time during the day (to avoid the noise). We would have relaxed in our room a bit more if not for that. But it was a beautiful stay with really enjoyable amenities and just truly excellent staff. We will definitely be back!

Banff Springs Hotel is more than a stay, it's an experience. Not only is the hotel situated in one of the most beautiful locations in Canada, the hotel itself is a marvel. Driving up, you will be struck with a sense of adventure and awe. The first experience guests receive is the welcome from the valet and check-in staff. They are fun, personable, welcoming, and kind. The room itself was fairly simply, ours had a King-size bed, small bathroom, and desk. The amenities are awesome, even the soaps and bathroom supplies are excellent. The pool and workout facilities are fantastic. I was attending a conference, the facilities were awesome, the food (continental breakfasts, luncheons, and light dinner reception - were fantastic) We spent an evening at the Rundle bar, and as it wasn't too busy we spoke to one of the waitresses about her experience there. She was open about talking about the hotel itself, the kitchens, and maze-like entrances, the international staff, the fun of working in a place like this. All of this excellence comes at a cost. Food, drinks, spa - are all expensive, however the quality of the service you receive is what you get! Awesome time overall.

My wife and I wanted a little romantic get away. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience! Spa was amazing, food was fantastic! Great places to walk around. Concierge was great and gave us a map of places to see. Staff is among the best we have ever had. Their passion for their job is very evident! Will most certainly be back!

An exceptional iconic hotel. It’s a beautiful setting and fabulous for the wedding we attended. What was outstanding, in addition to the majestic setting, was the care and service of the staff. Front Desk Manager A. made our stay very comfortable. The Spa staff were excellent and the service staff were cheerful and very efficient. Not often the staff can outshine the surrounding but on the weekend of the 8 May, the Banff Springs staff did just that. Picture is the view from the wedding setting.

Celebrating a birthday in the spa was worth every penny. We arrived early to make sure we took advantage of the incredible facilities, and were not disappointed. Had the most wonderful facial (thank you Hannah!) and felt like a princess in a castle the whole day. Absolutely picturesque setting for a magical experience!!

Lovely resort ... Lots of restaurants and things to do plenty of shops and restaurants. Clean, cozy, classy but a bit dated although some rooms are remodeled (kinda). Restrooms and rooms can be small but that's expected. it is a beautiful place and everyone will love it kids and couples and families. The food is good to great depending on what and where you eat but the reason you go is the majesty and beauty of the area. It's hard to not find God here.

Had our company’s Christmas party and spent the night in this beautiful hotel. Honestly, it’s like Christmas threw up in the place and we’re living for it! Different Christmas themes throughout the castle. You know you’re having a blast when you don’t have a single picture until the next morning. Our room was tastefully decorated and comfortable but that view 😘 We especially appreciated the bed and treats for our dog. Staff and guests were all so friendly. Our party was also a blast, and to think we’re 1 of 25 they had that weekend. Kuddos to everyone who makes this place so magical!

I loved it! it was a beautiful hotel with a fantastic restaurant, 5 star food in my opinion. it also has multiple bars with nice places to sit with friends & family to eat, enjoy drinks, dance, socialize and one of the bars has a patio connected right off of it with couches and fireplaces burning to enjoy a smoke or to have some nice fresh mountain air. the employees were very kind and helpful. the cleanliness of the room was impecable. the bed and pillows were so comfortable, I just fell right into bed and slept like a baby. the only thing I wasn't the happiest with was the size of my room as well as the bathroom that was in my room. both were quite small. I stayed on the 3rd floor in room 320 or 330 i believe. other than that, my stay was amazing! the views were spectacular as was the food, the cocktails, the service and the employees kindness, helpfulness and cheerful attitude!

Recently spent one night here. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very small but clean. We never heard any noise coming from the other rooms. The mini fridge was empty, no hotel products or cold beverages in it, which is great if you have food left overs or baby food. If it’s too cold and you have lunch/dinner plans at their German restaurant down the hill, they have a shuttle bus that takes you there.

Had our honeymoon here for two nights. Amazing staff, friendly and great to chat with. The history tour was incredible. Was only 30 minutes. We could've listened for hours. Chophouse was delicious. Room service was top notch as well. Beautiful property and got the privilege to walk the dog ambassador to explore the grounds even more.

When we checked in we were accidentally double billed which caused some issues but Don Mooney made our stay amazing. He went out of his way in every way imaginable to make up for the mistakes and to be sure we had a great time. The staff overall were great! The rooms and views unbeatable and the food wonderful. An amazing hotel with great staff that were able to solve any and all problems.

Rooms are so beautiful and staff are above and beyond for this 5 star property. Don was amazing !!!! He is so nice and ready to help. Not only him but Riley from room service deserves a promotion he is so so so amazing and so friendly honestly one of the friendliest person I ever met! Rooms have amazing views will be back To General Manager - these 2 people will be placed in our special memory forever as such a memorable vacation for us! I mean so amazing people at this property but these 2 people are just so amazing they deserve a bonus or a raise. I own hotels myself and as an owner having employees like this is something that is precious and should not ever be taken for granted! This entire property is like on big family keep it up!!! 20/10

This is an iconic hotel in a spectacular setting with top-drawer customer service. Our room was gorgeous and had a view out over the front of the hotel. But... our wonderful, luxurious room had a comically tiny bathroom that literally required us to go in sideways while holding the door and scooting around it. We wouldn't trade our visit to the Banff Springs hotel for the world, but the comically tiny bathroom will be a punchline for us for the rest of our lives.

While we didn’t stay at the hotel, I booked a spa day for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. The spa service itself was excellent but the highlight was the 3 hour use of the amenities, which included access to the indoor pool and heated outdoor pool, the spa steam room, sauna and whirlpool and the four specialized European baths lit by the most magnificent skylight. The spa lounge is gorgeous with an array of teas, coffee, waters and snacks (including gluten free). The staff were helpful, professional and absolutely lovely. For the (not unreasonable) price of a spa service, you get to spend the day feeling like royalty in a magical setting.

I had hoped to be able to comment on our stay at Banff Springs Hotel! I have no idea how you manage to have such an awesome staff who happily meet and anticipate the guest’s every need. I cannot tell you enough how grateful we were to have had this experience! We were on the Rocky Mountaineer and were fortunate to have stayed at all four Fairmont properties.

This was our first stay at Fairmont Banff Springs and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Every employee we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and responsive. The hotel is beautiful and feels like an escape in the mountains. Love that it was walkable to trails, downtown and more. The rooms are spacious with extra seating and storage. The bathrooms are a little small but updated, very clean and storage to keep things organized. Be sure to walk the grounds, the hotel is huge and lovely to walk around. If you are looking for an elevated stay in Banff, Fairmont Banff Springs is absolutely the best choice.

This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Great room (we had a larger room with the staircase - room 457) and great amenities. We stayed on the Gold level and it was well worth it for the great breakfast and food throughout the day. We also were able to grab a bunch of waters each day for our hikes. There was also nice lounges for us to hang out with our friends. The service was excellent - everyone from the parking attendants to the 5th floor lounge attendants were so attentive. They even brought a piece of cake to our room on my husband’s birthday (at a request from our friends). It’s expensive but worth the price if you are taking a bucket list trip. Highly recommend to get the full, magical experience of Banff.

Ok…I have stayed at some nice hotels before and this one was is at the TOP of my to stay list. WOW. WOW. WOW!!!! Service - they thought it everything down to hand written notes. Front desk staff was nothing short of amazing Location - the views are to DIE for. Even the views of the gym were breathtaking. Also they offered shuttles to downtown as well as bus passes. It’s about a 20 min walk which I did on a nice evening Restaurants. Just amazing! I had this wood fire bread and trout with a cucumber martini and I was in heaven! So many options so little time. The hotel had a medieval feel in parts, long hallways you can get lost in (which I loved) and just so much attention to detail. Visit this hotel ASAP!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Fairmont Banff Springs and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The Concierge Staff was exceptional and provided detailed information prior to our arrival. In addition they provided friendly, professional daily details regarding various activities, etc. Alex in the Activities Dept. gave us an unbelievable tour. His knowledge and details of the area and his experiences was exceptional. Andrew and Scott from the Activities Dept. also provided interesting insight into wildlife and a thorough history and understanding of this beautiful property. The breakfast and housekeeping staff on the Gold Level did an outstanding job with service. Lastly, many thanks to my masseuse, Mary. Mary was by far the best masseuse I have ever had in my many years. She was professional, personable and knowledgeable. She is a great asset to the Fairmont brand.

It is abundantly obvious from any material you see prior to arriving that the views will be stunning, but believe me… pictures do not do it justice. Even the best cameras in the world cannot capture the amazing and breath-taking views from all around the Fairmont Banff Springs. Honestly, there isn’t a bad sight line here! The staff is amazing as well, very friendly and knowledgeable and eager to assist at any time. If you’re staying for a couple of days, take part in the activities the offer because they are SO worth it! Whether you’re into hiking tours or tennis or guided history tours of the building itself, or even just roasting marshmallows by the fire… there’s something for everyone of all ages. Personally, I highly recommend the guided history tour of the building. Our tour guide was Alex and I doubt anyone could do a better job, because he has set the bar pretty high! Come for the view, stay for the experience.

Great experience over all! I was there for a conference but my husband came along too and we enjoyed some time together in Banff and throughout the park. Hotel is easily located to walk or bike to almost everything in town. The location and views were so gorgeous! Staff were professional and very nice. I appreciated the texts to check in on us. I love the aroma of the air freshener you use in the lobby area. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

We booked a couples massage here. It was a wonderful experience. The spa is beautiful! We were able to use all of the spa facilities while we were there for 3 hours, which was a wonderful added bonus. The spa was clean and very relaxing. They had complimentary infused water, tea and coffee as well as some snacks like fruit, muffins, trail mix, date and oat energy bars and some dark chocolate bark in the couples lounge. Parking was also included with our spa treatment, so we didn't need to pay extra.

It was the most pleasant spa experience for me. I would like to recognize Kyra at the reception desk who displays outstanding customer service as she greeted me well before I approached the desk. She was very thorough in introducing me to the spa facility and advising all the benefits offered. She is a friendly, highly professional young lady who always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome when I am there to visit the gym and pool facilities. I really enjoyed the facial and back massage. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience and I will definitely return for additional services. The Banff Springs Hotel is a truly wonderful, magical place.

Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is the gold standard for customer experience! My husband and I got married here 20 years ago and we returned yesterday for our anniversary. They thought of every detail! Our room was above the terrace where we had our ceremony. Marissa at check in was so nice she provided complimentary welcome drinks so we could enjoy our tradition of Fairmont Caesars while waiting for the room to be ready. Our room was decorated with a framed photo of our wedding! Along with bottle of champagne, delicious desserts and a card with hand written notes from the concierge team! Everyone greeted us with happy anniversary thoughts. And the list goes on and on! Separate note. If you want to rent bikes, go to Sam at the local shop in the hotel. He’s so nice and helpful! I better stop because I can write 10 more pages of how amazing is this hotel!

Eric and Kristina at the Bar were great. They really take good care of the guests, make them feel welcome and comfortable. The ambiance of the bar and mountain views are like in a movie. My family and I had a great time. Oh and food and drinks are awesome too.. They have 3-5 happy hour everyday.

The service as Fairmont Banff Springs was excellent at every turn. We had a small issue with our room and the manager on duty, Josh, was very quick to address it. He was so helpful and went above and beyond. Staff at the restaurants and bars were amazing; giving us suggestions on where to go, what to see and just were so pleasant. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are small as the hotel is historic (older), but amenities are nice.
