This
is
rated
as
one
of
the
easiest
summits
in
Banff,
with
a
2km
switchback
trail
from
the
upper
parking
lot
to
reach
the
summit.
If
you
aren't
a
regular
climber
with
hills.....it
isn't
going
to
feel
easy.
It
was
a
good
hike
up
and
the
switchbacks
keep
it
from
being
too
steep,
but
this
is
a
constant
upwards
go,
and
from
the
lower
parking
lot
it
is
even
further.
But
the
paths
were
fairly
wide,
only
became
rocky
near
to
the
top,
and
were
definitely
climbable
for
all
sorts
of
levels
of
fitness.
We
took
several
breaks
on
the
way
up,
often
to
marvel
at
the
view,
and
enjoyed
the
climb
and
the
experience.
Climbing
it
in
September
it
was
not
too
busy,
though
the
upper
parking
lot
was
full
and
it
is
clearly
a
popular
hike.
If
you
are
in
Banff
and
want
to
be
able
to
say
you
climbed
a
mountain
this
one
is
a
good
one
to
do
and
the
views
are
undeniably
gorgeous!
