Adorable town view from this location. Zigzag road from Banff ground to this top location around 10 min drive but worth it. Free Parking spots are available. Nice to spent approx 20 minutes at this quiet & lovely view.

Few miles drive from Banff downtown up Mountain Norquay is this stop with small parking area. It is a spot cleared from trees that allows you unobstructed view of Banff Village from above with the surrounding mountains. Ground squirrels will be running around you, ignoring you. Very beautiful views. The views are more beautiful at sunset. But be prepared for attack of mosquitos at dusk. Use insect repellants c

Great way to enjoy a beautiful view and watching some wildlife without the effort of a hike. Perfect if you have some really young kids who wouldn’t be able to climb up a mountain. There’s a nice grassy area and a little (quite small) parking there. It would be a quick ride up if you didn’t have to drive real slow because of the wildlife.

A great spot to stop and really appreciate the scenery. Fun curly road on the way up. Handful of spots available. Got to sit in the muskoka chairs and just enjoy the view for a few minutes. Must stop here if in Banff or just passing through!

Absolutely gorgeous up here. Steep hill so be careful! People were playing with a ball when we went and they almost lost it due to tumbling down the hill! Limited parking. Saw a coyote here at night once. Luckily it walked past us but it was a close call!

It's just a short drive up Mt. Norquay road to get to Banff View Point and it's so worth it! That view of Banff is so gorgeous!

4/5 for the beautiful view of Banff. There's free parking. It's about 10 minutes up a winding road. There's wildlife. We saw mountain goats and deer on the way up and at the top. It wasnt too busy when we went to see the sun setting on the magical town below. Only downside is there's no bathrooms.

An excellent view of Banff, but someone needs to remove the graffiti from the stone wall.

Banff is just a magical town surrounded by mountains. The town itself is cute with lots of shops. I also recommend to visit the view point which is just a short drive up the mountain. There is also parking right at the Banff sign.

Stunning experience. You can pull off to take some pictures! Encountered a lot of wildlife as my boyfriend and I had been driving around here around 7am-8am!

The wonderful thing about Banff National Park is that its surrounded by incredible mountain scenery and doesn’t required to hike very far to get jaw-dropping views. That being said, This is one of the best option to have a spectacular viewpoint of the banff town on mount norquay. The mountain was named in 1904 after john norquay, premier of manitoba from 1878-1887.

Aka Mount Norquay Viewpoint. This was my favorite view point in Banff today. Easy drive up the mountain, about 7 minutes long. Definitely recommend it!
