The views are absolutely amazing! Only 15 minutes from banff. This site has FREE showers AND fire wood which I was surprised about. They also have running toilets and sinks. Really enjoyed this site and everything it brought. Quiet time is at 11 which sucks but is understandable. The only downside to the site is it is so close together that sites are 10-20 ft apart. The walk up sites are extremely close to the car, maybe a 10-20 second walk which is nice. They have communal cooking areas as well. Most sites fit one tent, and they have specific areas for your tent so you can actually be guaranteed to be able to peg it down. Lots of tree coverage and shade as well. Really loved this site and will definitely be back in the future. Has a lot of perks that you wouldn't expect for a campsite. Bathrooms are also very clean and tidy, hiking trails near by and lake minnewanka is just up the road. Beautiful site and would highly recommend camping here.

We had by far the best campsite in the ground and were very pleased with the view and size of the site. We easily fit 2 tents and a large truck with room for another vehicle. Not all the sites are this large and we saw many people struggle to fit their equipment on their site. This is a very popular place for families, paddle boarders and dogs. Because of how small the grounds are it feels very intimate in the trees and can be noisy from all the kids/dogs.

Spent 2 nights at Two Jack Lakeside campground, site 12. This site was far away from the main part of the campground and was very quiet. I was able to launch my kayak close to the site. Free wood was a really nice option. As were full flushable bathrooms equipped with showers! Though they were a bit of a walk from the site. Highly recommend this site!

Spent 3 nights at Two Jacks right on the water - it felt like the best spot on the whole campground. The parking spots were a bit tight so with our big truck it was a bit hard to park. The site was buggy so be sure to wear repellent at all times or you will be eaten. Bathrooms were nice and clean. We couldn’t find a drinking water spout although the map said it was by the bathrooms - not a huge problem since all of our hiking spots had water. Our only real frustration was that the designated site for the tent was rock hard so we were unable to stake our floor tarp and tent into the ground. We left our bigger bags inside to keep it from moving during the day so it worked out but it was initially a challenge to sort out. The site is worth it for the views alone.

This is an excellent National Park campground with fire pits, showers and flush toilets. The sites close to the lake are the nicest but difficult to get. There are walk in tenting sites. It was a little crowded in the evening but everyone was polite and courteous. It’s wonderful camping in the mountains.

The campsite is very well maintained and offers quick and easy access to Banff. The bathrooms are well maintained and have showers with hot water. There is also a pot washing station which is nice. There is also water access so you should bring a kayak or canoe if you can. The campsites are also quite nice but the only downside is they are not very private and are close together but at least the firewood is free. All in all it is an amazing campsite that offers lots for the price. You do need to book as soon as possible though as it fills up FAST.

Free firewood on site, very nice bathrooms and showers. The scenery is insane. The lake is a nice turquoise blue with huge mountains in the backdrop. Just far enough from the highway that you can't hear it at all

Nice location with lots of walking and biking trails nearby. Lovely views, wildlife, good on site corner store. Staff not very knowledgeable about general area such where restaurants are. Trials and interest points.

Beautiful views, showers, firewood is automatically added to the price of the site and you can grab as much as you would like. Downside to the walk in campsites - they are right on top of each other, bear boxes are in the parking lot not your site, and they do little to control people partying until 2 in the morning.

So it's not wilderness camping, but for car camping the place is great! Unlimited wood, showers and flush toilets, and right beside a gorgeous lake. To be able to hear the loons at night, see deer, sheep, and bears nearby, is special. For a real treat try the ootentik glamping units. We just did this for a couple nights, and it's a treat!

You are camping exactly near the lake and the view is unbelievable! There are fire pits available specifically for you. In the night, it would be cold even in the summer. Try to stand awake and enjoy the sky view which is amazing during the night.

We stayed in an OtentNik at Two Jack Lake and we loved the experience. The views and trails were gorgeous! The bathrooms were clean but the first night there was no hot water for a shower. It was fixed the next day. The staff at the front gate were very helpful.

A wonderful campground outside of Banff. The kitchen/picnic shelters were boarded up due to the pandemic. The wash sinks were still available. The washrooms were open, but the showers were also closed. We had a walk-in site close to the lake. It was not too far of a walk from the parking area. There is a nice trail along the edge of the lake.

The Otentiks site at Two Jack Lake was gorgeous. I can't wait to come back! The site itself was perfectly appointed: decent mattress, hot showers, bear lockers for storing food, BBQs at every site, and free wood for campfires. The lake had some cute access points for the beach, and plenty of picnic tables. Wonderful spot.

It is very nice campground with a lakeside view. I stayed for 2 nights with family. It is very near to banff town. It was very clean area. Washrooms were near by and they have shower. It will stay again.

Exceptional camp site with great view of mountains, and lake is very accessible. There are nice trails around, easy enough for kids too. Kids had a lot of fun. Otentiks were well maintained. Washrooms were decent a bit on the smaller end. Camsites were a bit close to each other; but over all it was a great camping experience. I would suggest book ahead of time as it gets booked way ahead of time. Lake is great for kayaking, boating and swimming depending on when you visit. Ample parking. Check out images and videos and Follow for more.

Good campground, the lots can be small and not that flat, some loops don’t allow fire, washrooms are clean and have a dining room attached with fire stove - what is nice if it is cold. The lot by the lake are the best ones - great place for hiking and canoeing. We had 4 huge elks passing through the campground during our breakfast - always a nove surprise

Tough hike (with great views, but steep) in from Vista Lake trailhead or flatter less scenic access from Twin Lakes trailhead. 5 tent pads with decent privacy from each other and the main trail. A large picnic table close to the food locker for cooking and several beautiful spots to sit and watch the lake with amazing views of Storm Mountain. Unfortunately there is no fire ring for campfires. Highly recommend!

We weren’t here long but the campground is nice and sites have a nice amount of privacy. Bathrooms were clean and had showers! Lost a star because the quiet hour is very strict as can be seen from other peoples reviews. We have camped a lot and it’s significantly more strict then I’ve ever seen.

Stayed in the walk-in sites, beautiful campground with very friendly staff. Facilities were good and clean. Some of the walk-in campsites are very close together so I would just recommend earplugs if hearing any noise bothers you.

Wonderful campground with flush toilets, showers, wood (although quite wet), excellent lake for watercraft, challenging steep shoreline walk, potable water, lots of trees, site tables and firepit.

This is the most beautiful campground we’ve camped in Banff national park. It’s right on the shores of Two Jack Lake. There are also cabins for those who don’t like sleeping in tents.

Not private at all, cant park your car in your site, parking lot lights hit the campsite at night taking away the natural feeling. Beatiful lake and mountain views accessible from the campsite. Definitely wouldnt go back, but others may enjoy it.

Convenient location than any hotel in Banff. Food preparation and hooking not allowed inside otentik we luckily reserved. It was raining when we arrived. Had to prepare and had my dinner inside my van. There is roofed shelter but further down the road. Walk up there would be far, driving there would not be convenient either.

Absolutely my favorite place to camp. Quiet, clean, and free firewood. What more could you want? Only downside is needing to book about six months in advance, but I usually just try my luck with dropping in for a cancel or walk out site.

This place is for night camp ground. Sadly, you should know if you are making fire, you need to pay for it, even if it's not a fire ban. You can not find proper information written about it. This place is not good camping place for 2-4 hours.

(Translated by Google) Spectacular Two Jack Lakeside Campground. It is surrounded by pine trees and the lake of the same name. The peace and tranquility that is here is unimaginable, you could spend hours observing the lake and taking some good photographic shots. Very good facilities and everything very clean. Bathrooms with hot water and in good condition. Large pitches and firewood to use. Very good camping !!! (Original) Espectacular Two Jack Lakeside Campground. We camped here in the middle of August on campsite 25. The view of the mountains is amazing and there is a nice little walking/biking trail that follows the shore. The water was too cold for us to brave swimming, but some tough kids looked like they were having fun in the water. Facilities were well maintained and clean, and they had premium toilet paper. Fire wood is free! Staff was friendly and helpful. I give it 3 stars because our campsite was uncomfortably close to our neighbours. You are asked to set tents in designated areas, but on campsite 25 and its neighbour, the areas are very close beside eachother. Many other campsites seemed like better spacing, but still close. Also, you can not park at your site, there are parking spots close by, but worth mentioning. Overall, a positive experience.

We love camping here. We have been twice and will keep coming. The showers and toilets are maintained welll, the campsites as well. I like that the parks people are always driving around checking to make sure people have their food away and stay quiet after 11pm. We saw a bear and reported it and they took care of it right away. The lake is gorgeous for kayaking, but too cold for swimming usually (as most mountain fed lakes are)
