This place is mainly famous because of Arundhati (Telugu movie) shoot took place here. This place is not under government, still this fort is under King's family members who resides in foreign. As it is not under govt, there is no proper maintenance, security, roads etc. It is open 24 hrs but as there is no lighting, we can't go there after sunset.

Nice place ..looks fine from outside however most of the building is damaged from inside. "Recommended Only for Photo shoot" I was equally curious about knowing the details of the fort like year in which it was built, who has built it and the year in which it was vacated and reason behind the same etc.. Also it is Suggested to reach the place in own transport to avoid time delay.

Banaganapalli fort is of historically significant & most notorious in many Telugu films popularly shown in JAYAM MANADERA & ARUNDHATI movies... Located in between banaganapalli & yaganti road way... Located in a deserted area on a small way...road way is bit poor in maintenance.. some years back it's in ruins and reconstructed afterwards .. no accommodation facility & even water is also not available here... So it's better to carry water n some snacks...it's always better to visit in evening for good view...

This is the fort which is shown in the Arundhati movie. This is shown as Gadwal fort in the movie but it is not in Gadwal. This fort is called Nawab palace which is near Yaganti. Currently this is an abandoned fort and no one resides here. There is nothing to see inside the fort. Outside the fort is good for taking photos.

On the way from Banaganapalle to Yaganti, Nawab's bungalow can be said to be a very historical building. This Nawab Bungalow looks great at sunset. My Good experience trip.

The construction is unique and old. But it's not maintained well. Outer look is good. But inside it's in ruins. Still had to pay 20 rupees per person. The great youngsters who want their names to be carved on the ancient constructions have definitely visited this place in bulk.
