Great location as it is situated just below BTS Ratchathevi. They have couple of good bands that play rock. Nice place to chill over a drink and rock music. Staff are courteous, food is ok. Cleanliness and maintenance could be better. Price are reasonable. Recommended!!!

Surprisingly good rock music venue. Acoustics are good, decent stage and punchy sound system. Nice people with a rock/metal/indie vibe. Saw the Chocolate Cosmos doing their regular Sunday gig. Great cover band of Brit indie pop/rock. Rare to hear Smiths/Cure/Blur/Talking Heads in Thailand.

Sadly disappointed as this place has now become a heavy metal/trash/death metal venue. It's now a specialist place, but that is not my complaint. The prices of drinks are extortionate!! All spirits are 20% more expensive than most similar venues, and they further charge for mixers. I had a sangsom and sprite costing B195. Normal price is around B140. As I said, extortion and more so on a Saturday night, the place was far from being full. The Rock Cafe is a Bangkok iconic rock music venue. The music policy has changed, and sadly, it's appeal.

No a big selection of food. But there is a good choice of drinks and also whole bottles. The band starts around 10pm and they switch to another after 1 hour. Gets pretty crowded, so better to go a little early to get a seat.

We arrived on a Friday Night at 2100. We enjoyed two Absolutely Fantastic cover bands. I'm not someone who goes out of my way to ever see cover bands but they absolutely killed it. Both bands got the crowd jumping. The latter band even got a genuinely serious mosh pit the whole performance. Which is a wild feat for a cover band. The staff were extremely courteous and nice. The regulars were welcoming with open arms. Beer was nice and cold. And the washrooms were above average in Thailand and Rock bar standards . The vibe went from 90s/2000s Rock(band one) to Nu metal (band two) effortlessly the night we were there The crowd loved it.

We came to this city to watch The Strokes show and unintentionally met "BKK Alex Turner" at this pub, the whole band played very well, the main vocalist sang many songs continuously without any signs of hoarseness, they also have a bass solo performance, even the waiter can play the music very well. Came here on Friday night and had awesome time. Listened to great, bands, headbanged a lot, met amazing people. I was screaming Slayer all night and the band Munson ended their set with South of Heaven, everybody went crazy, it was awesome!

The ambience is really good. Lot of guitars 🎸 and rock band photos. You can order beer by jug or tower. Music system is good. The band was amazing and after an hour they also take your request. If you are rock fan then a must visit place. It’s walking distance from BTS

This is easily the best bar in central Bangkok for live rock and metal. Make sure you check their Facebook page for the schedule because different styles are played on different nights and the bands sometimes start pretty late. Don't be surprised if you see a mosh and some crowd surfing when there's a special event.

Half decent covers bands. They played Slayer on request so kudos for that. The drinks menu is large and the customers are not pretentious. Decent place for metal heads.

A plate with 7 mini microwaved sausages for 130 baht is the best they have to offer. And there is this guitarist who copies John Petrucci's wardrobe and hair style playing harmonics on everything, it's just so annoying. Classic rock night with a metal drummer with a double pedal is also not cool. Bass player and the guy playing a Les Paul where awesome. Singer did his best, but songs were very high for his range.

Awesome bar in Bangkock that plays heavy metal, Nu metal, hard rock, grunge, Located next to CoCo walk. Always super lively on Friday and Saturday nights. Sometimes they even get a small mosh lit going. You can save some money by ordering towers of beer, instead of individual drinks. I will be back!

For me the biggest stand out performance was the 2 piece band with a bass guitar and drummer who absolutely rocked the bar and put on an amazing performance, I would love to come back just to see them perform .
