Nice cozy little place in amongst the madness all around. Good to get some bearings and drop in for a nice pint in a friendly pub where the music isn't turned to the max and people are actually making conversation. Ordered a toasted ham and cheese which wasn't the best at all, but overall enjoyed my hour or so here relaxing......

Great little slice of normalcy among the chaos of world famous Nana Plaza adult playground. I stopped in to watch MotoGP as that seemed to be the only place showing sports in the immediate vicinity. It has a British theme and the owner Nick is cool. They even serve food and a traditional Sunday roast. Prices are on par for that area.

Typical tourist/expat bar serving English and Thai food. Staff are great fun and please note this is not a girly bar, there are plenty of those within 2 minutes walk. Free newspapers available, 3 screens showing sport normally without sound, background music not loud. All in all a good place for a drink, chat and watching the world go by.

Great British Pub experience. Warm welcome, excellent beers and great food! Came for burger and beer at lunch time and stayed into the night! The owner Nick is a Brit who ensures quality food. Friendly staff and regular expat clients made my visit very enjoyable. Sports on TV (was able to watch F1 GP qualifying) and no loud music or hassle from bargirls. If you want to enjoy a drink, some food and good conversation then Chequers is the place!

I was minding my business at this Pub and sipping on my beer. The server lady initiated friendly conversations. She asked me if I could sponsor her beer and my obvious response was Sure! So now I order / pay for 2 more beers and then she disappears. The Manger pulled in and let me know that this is not a place for Lady Bar. So I asked the manager (British male ) if he could join with me and care to give me company. As I was also in no mood to go to a lady bar. Long story short - I got scammed ! This is not a place for Indians as the staff was very unfriendly. I eventually ended up leaving the bar ! The Thai staff did not even bother to apologize. Look at the pic that I took while leaving this bar. I spend close to 500 Bahts including Tip.

My wife and I ate dinner in the evening there, and on one morning we had a late breakfast there too. This Pub is a friendly, small and exceptionally clean establishment situated on a fairly notorious street, hence it is just fantastic for people watching and marvelling at the extremely fascinating sights that wander or totter passed! I found the Guinness to be of a very good standard, but I had to try several times just to make certain as it seemed to slip down my throat with me hardy noticing! To have a break from Thai cuisine we chose to eat British food for both dinner and breakfast from a fairly extensive menu, and both meals were excellent, and served by very efficient, courteous and happy waitresses. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, and the regulars at the bar were a sober and a pleasant bunch. I would certainly take young children there without hesitation, and my wife and I will be revisiting this pub next month on our travels back through Bangkok.

My first visit for 3 years to this gem of an "English style" pub in the heart of the action. Standards have remained high, the service girls are friendly and efficient and the chefs are still knocking up excellent quality pub grub. Highly recommended for a relaxing pint and bite to eat. Oh, and they still have the cleanest gents toilets in town!

Nice little British bar (owner from Cornwall, even sells "the best home made Pasty's in Bangkok"). Beer was good and cheap during Happy Hour. Came here to watch the Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on 19 Sep 2022; enjoyed the company of some of the local expats who watched it too.

The menu covers all tastes both British and Thai. The food is very good value for money, flavourful and tasty, I especially enjoyed the authentic Cornish Pasty. The staff were excellent and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. A excellent place to visit for a meal and drink.

Some of the best food you will find in the area especially the English Breakfast - the Full Monty. I usually will stop in here for breakfast the staff is attentive and prices are still pretty cheap. I also enjoy reading the local paper (Bangkok Post) which they always have.

Wanted to experience a genuine British fish and chips for the first time in my life so ordered one. The crust was hard, peas weren't mushy, very little tartar. Overall very average. I think I'll stick to non-British fish and chips in the future. Service was nice.

Great little hole in the wall, right amidst the hustle and bustle of Nana's nightlife. I really enjoyed the chill atmosphere and that the service wasn't centred around waitresses but rather the venue itself. There was a book shelf, a tv or two and plenty of bar and street seating. We sat watching the street and was approached by many people selling their fake watches. A firm shake of your head and a "no thanks mate" should have them on their way in no time.
