I’ve been to Small’s a few dozen times by now. It’s easily one of my favourite bars in the city to see live music. Until recently I couldn’t quite put my finger on why this place works so well as a venue, especially given the fact they don’t really have a dedicated stage for performers. But last night I was watching a great band and realized that a lot of Small’s appeal is that it almost feels like you’re at a house party with friends, grabbing drinks and watching a band together. The vibe is very casual and easy, and it’s pretty normal to find yourself chatting with the people at the table next to you. The cocktail list is large, along with a good beer and wine selection, and the wait staff are very professional and friendly. I’m glad this place has managed to maintain what makes it great.

Nice bar in Sathorn, amazing atmosphere. The place is on 3 different floors, we stayed on the rooftop. Cocktail are good, prices starting around 320 baht/drink but we have really appreciated that they not charge for tax and s.c.

As Bangkok emerges from lockdowns and restrictions Smalls is a perfect place to go and enjoy a night of smooth jazz. We had a wonderful time listening to the sounds of African Jazz with Thong on bass,Yack on guitar 1, Darrell Kelly on guitar 2, Jakob Dinesen on saxophone Didier Mpondo on drum and vocal. Cool refreshing & Delicious drinks served by Barman Danny topped off the evening. As the night went on we found ourselves tapping our feet clapping our hands and some getting up and dancing to the Beautiful music. We even recorded the evening in spectacular 3D VR 180 using the Canon R5 with the 5.2 mm Dual fisheye lens. some sort of jazz I have never heard before...might not be the taste of the mass public but if you want to try something new ,and enjoy a new experience I would recommend coming and trying it out. I went on Thursday, there is a 200baht entry fees per person

What a great night out with my friends at the pub called "Smalls" which I never knew they sell Vietnamese noodle called "Pho". It's the most delicious noodle I ever ate, seriously. I have had many noodle soup in my life but nowhere beat the noodle here, not joking. We would definitely go back there again! They only have this noodle menu once a month and it's made by a traditional Vietnamese. They should have this noodle menu everyday. The owner named David is very hospitable and friendly with us. The place as a great atmosphere and great musics. Some nights they have live jazz band which I enjoy listening. Great social place which I highly recommend.

Visited the place on a rainy Friday. The place wasn’t overcrowded until after 9pm it was a lot more lively and busy. Warm and cozy atmosphere with retro decorations, the second and third floor has smoking area. The bartender/staff were very helpful guiding through the menu. I had my first absinthe here and had a surprisingly amazing off menu custom cocktail (Gin,Triple sec, ginger, lime, passion fruit) the price is a bit above average but worth the price. Average quality of food on the expensive side relative to the taste. Music that night was funk jazz and not too overwhelmingly loud so you can expect to have a nice heartwarming chat with your friends or partner here.

The coolest jazz bar in Bangkok. If looking for a nice bar to enjoy a decent drink and great live music, this place is the perfect one. There are some snack, food, pizza and wings you can order too. The staff are very friendly. Super chill and welcoming atmosphere. You can check the music program in advance before you visit them on their Facebook page as well.

Smalls is a great place to chill with some smooth Jazz. There are actually a couple of jazz bars in Bangkok, and I have heard about this place as one of the best for a very long time. The drinks are standard but live music always spices things up. They are collaborating with a pizza and a wings place so you won’t be hungry here too.

Great bar with cozy setting, fantastic drinks and great bartenders and staff. Met great people here too. You can actually order super tasty pizza from Gallery Pizza, have it delivered there and eat it at the bar, up until 4AM. Just another one of those things that makes Bangkok such an awesome place to live in.

Nice little bar. Great place to see a band if you can get a table in the front room. Little pricey, 170 baht for a 12oz. Beer, but great atmosphere. Bartender and service is excellent. I had a great time there, bur then again I drank about 10 beers and the Tarantinos where playing🤣🤣 How could you nor enjoy that?? Recomend this place for a good time🤘🤘

The music was cool, but it was not anything close to smooth Jazz or an easy-talking bar as the other reviews said. I guess I was “lucky” to visit the special program that night.

Great place for cocktails, jazz and seeing friends. It’s got some eclectic artwork and even some board games. Not had the food yet, so looking forward to trying it another night.

We had a great time. The DJ made the night. Follow DJ BERRY. Great music .. lovely atmosphere and interior. The roof bar is also very nice.

A fantastic bar! Danny is a fantastic barman mixing excellent drink and an all round nice guy. If you're lucky enough to meet David the owner have a chat, he's one of the most interesting people I've ever met. Great live music and music in general. It's open late for those who don't want to go home. Oh and there's the wonderful gallery pizza helping you drink on. If you not been then you're missing out

2nd night in row I've spent here and 5 stars all the way. Never seen free jazz before and this was superb

The music zone on the ground floor is not free after 8.00pm so we either pay or are asked to move upstairs. There's also a bar at the rooftop. We see lots of tourist/foreigners here. They have absinthe in the menu which is considered rare in Thailand.

A very cool little bar by the corner with many special things in it. You will find many paintings those were drew by one of the owner. The special menu here is the Banh Mi full topping - A Vietnamese traditional type as one of the owner's wife is Vietnamese. The band that playing in the pub was also very cool when we came though didnt have chance to wait till the playing time. We came for Gene birthday and left early since we brought a little girl along :)) The atmosphere is quite cozy.

My wife and I visited Smalls last year, it reminded us of some of our favorite downtown bars in NYC. This year we returned and had the pleasure to get to know the staff. Danny and David are great conversationalists and took the time to tell us about the Bangkok bar scene. It’s not a touristy place, but a nice blend of locals and foreigners. The cocktails are as sophisticated as the music choice, which is much more tasteful than the mainstream bars. Overall, Smalls is definitely a place to check out and will be our favorite bar to return to in Bangkok :)

The bar at ground floor is nice & cozy, with live performance of jazz music. Or you can choose the table on 2nd floor, which is quite hot and humid, or the roof top seating with limited city view. I'll give it a 5-star rating if the shop owner removes the cover charge for the live band performance.

Very cozy small bar with food, has 3 floors, we went the night Daniel Thaiger Burger popup shop was there. My friends enjoyed it, seems they have different foods each night

A small and cozy bar with great jazz music. A night hanging out place for friends and loved one, and a reward to your ear through live musice performance. The service could be improved but kind of understand the staff because it is always full house.

Super nice jazz bar, highly recommended!! We went there for their 8th year anniversary and got a free t-shirt, free delicious cocktail (the barman was so good!), and even a slice of pizza! There was a cosy and fun atmosphere and a DJ; looking forward to come back for a jazz night!! Thank you Smalls for this amazing evening!

Do not come here for the food, that is not their main draw. (Their pizzas are from Gallery Pizza which is delivered from outside) Instead, come here for the drinks and jazz performances - attended the one on 16 April and loved it so, so much. We were the group of tourists dancing with another lady, it's a memory I'll keep forever. Thank you for the experience!

it's probably the only reasonable bar and I mean quality and style. the bartender knows stuffs. it reminds me of Havana social a bit but way better. more quality customers and more intimate with the staffs here. the owner is awesome. friendly and welcoming.

Hidden gem in Sathon area. Feels like a place for connaisseurs. The American DJ had a very interesting selection on vinyls to listen to and enjoy a cocktail. Eclectic art work completes this "antique-shabby-chic" place. Check out all the 3 floors for full experience. Ambiance and bartenders are welcoming.

Great vibe - reminds me of a Notting Hill bar I used to know. Charming staff ...nice decor with live music and a good selection of spirits and beers. Will be back.

this is one of my favorite speak easy cocktail bars in BKK, a bit hidden from the main area but absolutely worth to go for the cocktails there. Must try the signature one : Fontaine Louche Bloom which is recommended by the best 50 bars in Asia, is not on the menu, yet the bartender is happy to make it. I had an amazing cocktail experience there as the bartender Nui is good at customizing, just trust what she makes for you as long as you tell her your taste. Besides, the owner David is very easy going and friendly :) And nice music as well!

Food are good. I had hamburger and it was very good as well as French fries. The beer and cocktsils are excellent too. I was there on Wednesday night when there was a live band. It was good and the bar is fill to the capacity. It is a very lively place.
