I've been here twice now. Early morning when they first open and at peak hours during tourist crash times when people are waiting to get a seat. The food is amazing. Price is on point, nice and cheap and everything is well done. Skip the rest, if you're going to eat near the Grand Palace or the Reclining Buddha, save yourself some guess work and just come here.

Had a really great meal here after visiting the nearby landmarks. Food was great and unbelievable good value. Particularly enjoyed the mango salad. Staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English. Restaurant itself has a good vibe and was clean. Worth noting there’s additional dining space next door so if it looks full there could still be space. Worth a visit if in the area!

It's a very home cook place but nice and clean. I actually like the food very much even though it is 4 star. It tastes of home cooking food. Warm and nice. I added a curry dish as I'm still hungry after eating 😋. Nice portion though for a normal person.

Food is pretty authentic but the wait time during peak hours can be anywhere between 30-40 mins. The green curry is a must-order and you can choose the level of spiciness you’d like. We enjoyed the shrimp cake. The portions are on the smaller side so you can definitely order more variety. As there are less than 10 tables, you have to be prepared to wait… It’s not a local haunt. In fact, it’s full of tourists. You can try it out if you’re in the area…

We enjoyed a nice meal here. The place is small and quaint but seemed very busy. Our food was delicious and the pricing was more than reasonable considering the area. If you are visiting the Grand Palace it is worth the short walk.

Amazing food. We stopped in for lunch and got the green curry, papaya salad, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was delicious, especially the pineapple fried rice was super unique, with a great combination of nutty, creamy, fruity and savory flavors. Incredibly cheap too. Will definitely come back here

Really calm ambience considering that it’s near very crowded temples and touristy attractions. Staff is great and food super yummy. Air conditioning helps in the middle of the day. Great prices and amazing taste! My recommendation? Mango smoothie & green curry with rice! Just amazing!

Everything is so delicious. We ordered Panang Chicken, Tom kah, Papaya salad, Green Curry, Chicken fried rice, Tom Yum, and sticky rice. Everything exceeded our expectations. Food is so tasty and flavorful ( curry is so creamy and delicious). Definitely a go to place for me.

Cute hidden gem just a short walk away from Wat Pho. There's very limited seating indoors so if you want to find a spot better come here outside peak hours, and probably I wouldn't recommend for large groups (4+ people). I loved the food, it was amazing, and service was super quick.

Nice cute restaurant in Bangkok near water taxi. I had mango 🥭 smoothie and it was delicious. No stomach problems either. It was cold yummy. I also had a dish of noodles and it was delicious. Inside of the shop is nicely decorated. I highly recommend this place for a lunch.

Our favourite restaurant in Thailand! Everything we ordered was done perfectly, the prices are so cheap, the restaurant has AC(!!!), beautifully decorated, & the staff are so kind. The shrimp with salt & pepper & red chilli was soooo good, as was the panang curry, pad see ew and papaya salad. We wanted to come back the next day but unfortunately they’re closed on Saturdays :’( We will definitely be back next time we are in Bangkok though!

The best Thai food experience we had so far. Really good food, good price (though portions are small, so order two if you are really hungry) and a lot more relayed than street food. Ask for the Mango sticky rice!

Cozy place with friendly owners and authentic Thai food, one of the best we had during our trip to Bangkok. We went twice because it was so good!! Pad Thai and shrimp cakes are really good, and prawns are very fresh.

This is a small litle shop with very unique decor. Staff was nice, comfy atmosphere. Got the stir fried flat noodle, it was pretty good. Fair price for tourist area. They take Visa.

Definitely the best Pad Thai! Although it has limited seating, you would find it pretty empty around 4 o'clock. Service is quick and the food is divine 🤌🏻

Wonderful traditional Thai food. We waited over 30 minutes and it did not disappoint! The food is very spicy so order mild if you can't handle the heat. The soup was very good. The place is very small only a few tables. The Italian soda was also a nice treat. I would suggest going before or after the temple.

The food was very good. Especially the penang curry and green curry. Top notch. Though when I said "medium spicy", they apparently didn't believe me. The food was not hot at all. A medium in the US would be a lot hotter. I know most westerners are wimps when it comes to spice, and Thai food can be blow-your-head-off hot. But I made it clear I wanted some heat in my Thai curry. Sigh. So I had them bring the chili oil. Yes, I would come again if we are anywhere near this area

After a morning of exploring the sites, we were looking forward to a nourishing lunch and decided on The Sixth - we were so glad we did! It’s tiny but inviting and the staff were very friendly. A delicious papaya salad, green curry and pad Thai hit all the right bites for us. Fresh and flavourful, we were also happy with the price - especially considering it’s locatio close to the temples. Highly recommended!

Friendly and Really nice staffs. Cheap and very delicious restaurant to eat after visiting Wat Arun. This can be much better than many luxury restaurant in Bangkok downtown. This deserves 5-star rating from customers

We ate here after visiting Wat Pho and it was the perfect place to relax and recharge during a busy day of sightseeing in Bangkok. I had the prawn omelet and it was so good and my husband had the Tom Kha and loved it. We also had the mango sticky rice for dessert. I would love to visit again.

Small restaurant with cute interior designs. It only has 5 tables, but definitely worth the wait. There is a variety of choice for Thai cuisine. Price is fair and portion is good. Highly recommended.

Nice and quiet space compared to the busy side street outside . A great place to recharge and refuel .I would recommend the pad Thai . But I had the green curry and it was full of flavour. The peas were soft and nice ,you won't be disappointed

Short walk from Wat Pho. It's a small cafe but you get to taste authentic Thai food. Thai milk tea is a bit on the sweet side, but overall food is tasty!

  • 5/5 Nicolas C. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best restaurants during our stay in Thailand. I can recommend the Pad Thai, Chili Shrimps and Chopped Shrimp Spring Rolls. Very nice atmosphere and perfect to get some rest after visiting one of the temples in the area!

  • 5/5 Neil A. 10 months ago on Google
Hidden down a side street and looks like it should be a tourist trap being so close to the grand palace but it’s incredibly good food. The pineapple fried rice and curry was just perfect.

  • 5/5 pranav s. 2 years ago on Google
Great restaurant which we stumbled upon while visiting Wat Pho. Awesome decor and vibe. Really polite staff, and most importantly amazing food. It's also reasonably priced but the only issue might be that its a little hard to find as its in one of the alleys. Couldnt recommend this place enough!!

  • 5/5 Krithika R. 2 years ago on Google
this place was a gem of a find! The food is amazing and the staff are also very friendly. They give you recommendations which are amazing! Also, very good piccolo latte. Best one i’ve had in ages

The food and service were good. This restaurant is air-conditioned too and very near to Wat Pho. You should definitely stop-by here to have a quick lunch after visiting these landmarks and escaping the scorching weather.

  • 5/5 Munny L. 1 year ago on Google
Really cooling air-conditioned restaurant outside of the grand palace. We ordered lots of Thai favourites, tom yum goong, green curry, cashew chicken and some steamed rice to go with it. The cashew chicken is the best and everything was affordably priced as delicious. We headed else where for desserts. You can order smoothies, soft drinks, coffee and tea. They also have western food that we didn't try. Luckily we walk ins didn't need to queue but they're quite popular and a tiny eatery so there may be queues during peak hours. They also accept card payment without minimum spend.

i honestly really enjoyed my time when i was here! limited menu items, but as gordon ramsay suggests, that’s a sign of a good restaurant. i came because i heard their tom yum is fantastic, and it honestly really was! got their lime mint soda to cool down from the sweltering summer heat and it was perfect too! would definitely suggest it to people going in the summer when the heat feels insanely suffocating. it’s a really small cafe though and during lunch time, it tends to get really crowded so you might have to wait for a while outside before you get seated. and even then, there’s probably like five/six separate tables (with 4 of those big enough for 4 people and the rest only for 2) so if there’s only two of you, you might have to end up sharing with other people. nonetheless, the interior is wonderfully and cozily designed so it’s still really an amazing experience to come here!

  • 5/5 Leong chin p. 5 years ago on Google
The tom yam is great! And the creamy egg, prawn with rice aroma is tasty as well! Worth while waiting. The mango smoothies are so fresh and sweets, recommend to order that to offset the tomyam spiciness if you need to~ 😬👍

Outstanding Thai food restaurant close to the King's Palace. You should combine a visit to the palace and finish your morning in high style by having your lunch here. The Tom Kha Gai here is just fantastic!!! It is a life-time experience.

This place is a hipster gem! After long hours of sightseeing in the temples nearby it was a real pleasure to enjoy nice Pad Thai, cold Singha, coconut water and amazing Green curry with jasmine rice. The seating is limited here. Prices are reasonable, service was very nice and the interior original and artsy.

  • 5/5 Dragon L. 2 years ago on Google
The Deco, Ambience, warmth, menu and presentation all entwine to create a culinary masterpiece !!! It's well worth seeking out.... To not do so would be a crime against Cuisine.!!

  • 4/5 Rachel L. 1 year ago on Google
Food is nice, but not mindblowing, wouldn't go extremely out of my way to eat here. The pad thai was nice but not the best I've tried. Omelette with chicken was also nice but the chicken is in big chunks instead of mince. There are many restaurants in this area. Service is nice and very polite.

👍👍 Undoubtedly the best Pad Thai. This beats all the others. A note of caution - since November 2021 they open for TAKE AWAY ONLY between 10am and 5pm. 👍👍 We waited for 3hrs after arriving at 9:30am, and finally eat our food at 12:30. I suggest to arrive before the shop opens, maybe around 8-8:30am.
