We've been twice and would definitely go back again! We were impressed with the quality of the food and the very cheap prices considering it is in front of the most touristy place in bangkok. Great staff, very polite and nice. Many options for traditional vegetarian dishes, I highly recommend the fried mushroom. 🐽❤️!

A nice little restaurant with a vegetarian section of the menu, really good food and smoothies, great service and very accommodating. I’m happy to have accidentally found this place behind Wat Po.

Soo Devine and heavenly. Good food and great attitude and ambience. Love the pineapple fried rice and stew so good omg I love it. Flavourful stew. It’s creamy and spicy a mixture of tofu and chilli. I absolutely adore this place. 10/10

This place has some great food! Can't compare it to other Thai places but really wanted to try some real Thai Massaman and I was not disappointed! Fantastic food and super friendly and helpful staff! Would definitely go back!

Very recommended… it has vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. The foods very delicious and have authentic taste… for vegetarian likes me i can totally said the vegetarian foods very high recommended especially tom yum kung and somtam, i love both… my non vegetarian friend said the stir fried shrimp with curry powder great too… i thought this resto was one of the best vegetarian resto for authentic taste of thailand food especially around wat pho and the great palace… the place was clean, very kind staff, the interior design such great…

Absolutely yummy pad Thai (ask for no egg if vegan and they are more than happy to accommodate) and spring rolls. Also had a Thai iced tea which was delicious and refreshing. Whole thing came to under 200baht! Food came piping hot within 5 minutes and staff were lovely, so highly recommended a visit if you are going to Wat Phra!

This was an awesome lunch! Cosy Thai cafe close to the palace. Great food, great prices. Don't worry about the dollar sign Google displays it is no more expensive than any other restaurants in the area. Whole family happy. Try the Pad Thai! Try the coconut soup!

Great pad Thai, Thai iced tea, mango sticky rice, and spring rolls. The green curry was also okay! Has strong AC & wifi, very near the temples

We had Fried Cashew, Pad Thai with Tofu and Tom Kha Kai Soup and they were all very delicious. Price was absolutely reasonable, if not even cheap. The meals came were served very quickly. The Signature Iced Coffee cannot be recommended highly enough!!! (it was probably the best Iced Coffee we had during our whole 3 weeks in Thailand) and the Iced Matcha Green Tea was also very good. Service was perfect as well and the interior design gave a pleasant atmosphere. If there's time, we'll come back tomorrow! 😀 The Home Cafe even grants a 10% discount at the moment on the whole bill. If that's not to final argument to come here, then I don't know! 😉 Highly recommend this place. By the way: it was even better than the Sixth Bar next door.

Hidden away on a side street, this eatery takes up two small shop lots and is run by locals. A lot of tourists visit. The staff are able to speak English and are really courteous. Food is of a small portion so one dish may not be enough. However, prices are cheap.

Nice and cozy place with comfortable seating. Best for vegetarians as they get lot of options.

We are vegetarians and were super happy with all the dishes we ordered. Green curry with steamed rice, pad Thai noodles, spring rolls, French fries, mango sticky rice and drinks - everything was perfect. The place was full and thankfully our guide on the temple and palace tour had reserved it for us. Great staff, service and very reasonable. Must visit if you are around grand palace.

Really packed around sunset / after the closing of Wat Pho. You may have to share the table with others. The appetizers (pad Thai, etc are small but cheaper) A bit loud with no vibe. Just for a quick bite

A fantastic restaurant with good options and prices you can’t turn down. Staff service, atmosphere & taste of food are a 5 stars from me! Highly recommend, especially if you are visiting the grand palace or Wat Phra Cetuphon as it’s super close. I had the spring rolls, mushroom tom yum, Bua Loi (coconut & glutinous rice + egg dessert) & bottle of water all for 202 baht!

It was good, but the food definitely tasted dulled down to appeal to western tongues. I needed to add more sauce and chili powder to it make it taste better.

We went here for lunch after visiting Wat Pho as its pretty close by. We ordered Veg Tom Yum Soup, Vegetarian Green Curry and Green Curry with Chicken along with Rice. Everything tasted great. The prices were pretty reasonable as well. The staff is very professional and polite.

The food has no taste. This is the worst Thai meal I have eaten so far. It is worse than Thai food I had in the UK. We were taken there by Klook tour guy. There were over 30 people on our tour and we occupied all tables. So the place was busy was because our tour, not because it's food. If you can choose where to eat, please do not go there. If you actually go, you will be disappointed with the food and the slow service.

Brilliant service, pleasant interior, interesting clientele. Very fast dish serving. The menu is moderately extensive and includes the most valuable dishes of Thai cuisine. A big plus is the option to choose spiciness, allowing, for example, to have Tom Yum suitable for those unaccustomed to spicy food. Tom yam and mango sticky rice were tasty. One major and very serious drawback: while eating the soup, I found a piece of metal scrubber in my mouth. Shocked, I continued eating and pulled out a second one. This is not a joke; it can be dangerous for life and health. I informed the waitress, she apologized and I got a 10% discount in my bill. It's amusing, considering it's 11 baht for a potential risk of esophageal or stomach perforation. I'm afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant. I like it so much, but it's not safe. Never encountered such incidents anywhere and anytime. Hair, bristles from brushes - yes, but not metal pieces.

A lovely place with tasty food! Lots of vegetarian options, and they did a pad Thai for me without egg to make it vegan.

  • 1/5 Vanessa A. 9 months ago on Google
Saw good reviews and came here but was really disappointed with the food. Pad thai was average at most, and tom yum kong and panaeng were just coconut milk. Lack of flavour, diluted, and thin. Do not recommend.

Beautiful family run café with excellent food. There are a few seats outside or inside with AC running. Don't miss to try the Pad Thai and the Tom Kha Kai which are unbeatable good. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very friendly. Come early because the home café closes at 7pm. Closed on Sunday! Definitely a yes-to-go recommendation in Bangkok!! 💯

Superb! Highly recommended Both meals (stir fry chicken noodles and green curry) were excellent. Good size portions and very good value. Wait staff and chef understood and complied with complex allergy (thank you!) High level of spoken English. Air con!

A nice find near Wat Pho. Wanted to try the restaurant next door but there was a wait. This place is clean, air conditioned & bright with lots of seating. Friendly staff. Prices bit on the high side. Large menu with quite a bit of vegetarian options. We had the Pork Pad See Ew, Mushroom Tom Yum & Mango Sticky Rice. They were all yummy especially the rich tom yum. Noodles had a nice wok hei. Decent portions. Thai milk tea was just okay. Good spot for a quick meal.

Very good service, ambience, and drinks. There’s a dedicated vegetarian menu which is fantastic. The vegetarian food needs a little extra depth in taste. It’s good but I won’t give the vegetarian menu 5 stars. I would have given this cafe an overall 4.5 stars is I can

This is a must visit if you are near Grand palace or Wat pho temple. Food is absolutely delicious. The waiters are very kind and were able to accommodate our dietary requirements. Went there twice and every dish I tried was delicious. Since the place is a little small , there can be waiting during lunch time

Very nice little cafe. I had the mango sticky rice and it was so good. Mango was very fresh and sweet. Free WiFi. Outdoor and indoor seating. I would definitely recommend it.

Tasty and very affordable. Effective air-conditioning and with reliable dual-band Wi-Fi. Credit card accepted. I highly suggest you try the strawberry smoothie, and I quite liked the mango smoothie. The fried chicken wings were succulent and crispy and well seasoned.

Food was great, not the best in Bangkok but remarkable and its location next to the palace is a plus. Soups in their dishes are exceptional.

Solid Pad Thai place. 2 portions with coke 250 THB. If you are very hungry make sure you order a side dish.

Delicious vegetarian Pad see ew, friendly staff and fast servise. Nice interier, its lovely place where to stop for a moment

The vegetarian basil fried rice was excellent but pad Thai was a huge letdown. Did not like the taste at all. The mango sticky rice was delicious as well, but that’s hard to go wrong with. The restaurant is clean and air conditioned which allowed us to escape the insane heat. The prices are very reasonable.

Very nice atmosphere, food tastes delicious and isn’t overly pricy(most dishes cost around 90-100 baht). Staff is nice and speak decent English. Best papaya salad I had in Thailand.

Quality food, cheap prices and very kind staff. Pad thai and pad see ew were absolutely amazing. We had the vegetarian option. Air conditioning and free wifi available. Right next to wat pho and other tourist attractions. Please, pay them a visit. It's worthy.

The food was very tasty and the price really affordable. There is a large variety of vegetarian options as well. The beverages saved us from the heat outside. Definitely gonna come back.

Amazing spot!! Phenomenal vegetarian menu. Really good pricing. Found this on Happy Cow - went right after Wat Arun. Highly recommend for both veg and non-veg options!

Delicious but not very outstanding. Price is very cheap and staff are very helpful. And this restaurant seems to be the only one who accepts credit card. Other nearby restaurants only accept cash.

The store is pretty close to the Grand Palace, and serves very good food with reasonable price. If you don’t know what to eat when visiting the palace, I highly recommend this place to you.

👍👍 Undoubtedly the best Pad Thai. This beats all the others. A note of caution - since November 2021 they open for TAKE AWAY ONLY between 10am and 5pm. 👍👍 We waited for 3hrs after arriving at 9:30am, and finally eat our food at 12:30. I suggest to arrive before the shop opens, maybe around 8-8:30am. The omelette is not too flavorsome, just full of crab. The fried fried rice noodle is shockingly good, the texture of the noodle itself is super stretchy,...
