We came here at the suggestion of a friend. There were 3 of us. It’s a beautiful environment. But the food quality is quite average and mediocre. The service was basic, and rushed. The price is insanely high for Bangkok. It came out to 3,077 THB ($100 USD). For Thailand 🇹🇭 and for this quality... that is extremely high. I know many places in Bangkok with 100% better quality and the same exact food would have been 800 THB ($25 USD). If you want to spend $100 USD on a meal in Thailand, there are many places with much better quality to serve your culinary needs.

For first time tourists or people who prefers Thai upscale dining experience, this should be the right place for you. Thai traditional decoration, local-style seating, delicious TomYum Goong, Mango sticky rice, Live Thai instrument & music shall make the dining impressive. In addition, you can choose outdoor seating with River view and lighting of Icon Siam. Parking is a bit inconvenience, no elevator and you need to use stairs.

It's possibly one of the worst thai restaurants i have tried in my life. Any thai restaurant could serve you better food. Tom yum goong - 2/10 Lack of ingredients that give the aromatic flavour, river prawns are over-boiled until it melts, no texture. It tastes like watered instant tom yum. Massaman beef curry - 3/10 Heavily creamed and doesn't even taste spicy, very bland. Pineapple fried rice - 5/10 Average, but where is the pineapple? Fried sea bass with herbs - 4/10 It is obvious it was fried a few hours ago, not freshly made. Pandan leave chicken - 7/10 Lightly salted chicken wrapped in pandan was delicious. Could have been bigger. I am very disappointed at the food quality. However, atmosphere and music ambient gives a traditional thai vibe. Love the docerations and the details of the shop design. Simple yet interesting thai dancers during dinner lighten the mood. Could have slightly lower the music volume. Good view of IconSIAM.

The place looks amazing just like the photos. We came at 20.00 and they informed us directly that they close at 21.30. We were the only ones there on a saturday evening, it says a lot already. We ordered. The food was sooo spicy to the point that we could not finish . Too much sauce everywhere. They were rushing to go home. For a place where you pay a lot money, you expect great service The girl comes with the check while were still eating and says we have to pay now. She didnt even care to ask how is the food and if were enjoying the time. And to top it off, by 21.00 pm one of the workers came already collecting the pillows of the restaurant and the started picking the forks and knives from the table. As a sign that their closing I do understand why people dont go there and why its an empty restaurant. Please just go somewhere else. It ruined our last day in thailand.

Great restaurant for a special dinner with your love ones. The restaurant offers a fantastic vibe that enhances the dining experience. While it's a bit pricey, the ambiance and Thai performances justify the cost. However, the Thai flavors cater more to Western tastes, potentially making it slightly bland for local Thai palates like mine. I booked the party pack on Hungry Hub which offer a good deal. We can order 6 dishes at the price of 1,750 baht net. Would definitely cost more if we order the dishes separately.

The ambience is WOW! Great service - special thanks to the assistant manager Khun Ple & the staff for the superb service👍- was really impressed that Khun Ple managed to arrange a complementary birthday cake last minute. Not only that, I really enjoyed the various performances- it made the dining experience awesome!

A very bad experience with this Thai restaurant inside Royal Orchard Sheraton hotel. We were so regret to picked this restaurant for my husband for his birthday on 12/12 Saturday evening. The food was not fresh and bad. The satay was dry and no taste. The shrimp of Tom Yum Goong soup is clearly not fresh. The quality totally are unacceptable. The rest of all the dishes also not good. Honestly, this is the only meal we had the worst with unacceptable quality during our stay in Thailand in a week. We asked to waive the 2 satay that totally nobody touched and left all, they refused to only waive 1. The dishes we ordered almost left the most on the table. The service was inattentive . We were all very disappointed by the food and the inattentive service. Even the water, you need to keep asking to refill . The only thing I gave a start because of the dancing team. The atmosphere was nice. It is a great pity the restaurant runs to fail to the food and service which are significant parts for customers to pick. Very regret to pick this restaurant by wasting one night there in our entire trip. That’s the reason we still would like to share all these disappointing bad experience though we were so tired after the trip. Overall, we feel we were cheated . Absolutely never go back again for sure.

One of the best places we've eaten in Bangkok, near the river. It can be quite hot in Bangkok, but here along the river there is a nice breeze to feel comfortable. Staff is very friendly and treat you like a king. Also entertainment is provided during dinner which is nice if you like that. At least it's a way to keep you entertained, because it can take a while before they serve your order. Food itself is good and tasteful with a lot of room to customize your order as you like it. Prices are high though. Be prepared to pay double or triple of what others charge you.

I had dinner at the end of November (on Thu night) taking several business colleagues to enjoy the Thai food by the river. I made reservation in order to ensure we got seats but when I came around 7pm, the restaurant is pretty empty although outside seatings were full. We were given seats outside facing Icon siam mall and Mandarin Hotel. During my dinner time, the river are noisy whenever the disco boats passing by. It's not just 1-2 times but quite often between 7-9pm. So if you need to discuss very important matters, outside seatings will not be the best arrangements. Service is excellent although I have to use a bit of Google translate to ensure they understand my instructions on getting the cooking with chilli will be as mild as possible. However, Tom yum goong and Somtum were still super hot even tough I have reminded them about the chilli level. The river prawns were used for the Tom Yum Goong as it has softer texture. Personally, I'm not a big fan but this is very subjective. Pad Thai is not the best and more on the sweet and soft side. Massaman Curry has been the highlight and the saviour for the night. It might look little but the sauce was super thick and lovely. There are short Thai dance performances so it will be good to showcase to business colleagues who have never visited Thailand before.

Dinner by the river with attentive staffs & view of The Icon Siam. Pamelo salad came with big portion & nice decoration. Beef massaman is tasty and able to share for 2 persons.

It is a nice hotel restaurant located at the riverside. The food is good if you are new to Thailand and want to try out some dishes. Very nice however is the service location and ambience. The view of the river to Icon Siam is great. They also had some thai cultural dances and live traditional music. Good for tourist and with Hungry Hub a very good offer.

A beautiful experience in Thailand. If you're looking for a nicer dining sort of vibe, defs the place for it. They have live music and 3 different dances between 7pm and 9pm when we went. They were all fantastic and they also posed with customers for photos too. Gorgeous, kind people! The food is delicious. We had the fish cake starter and the pandan wrapped chicken. 1000% recommend the pandan wrapped chicken. I'd get a whole meal of that. We also had the massaman beef curry, which was very Aromatic and flavourful. Strong spiced flavour, would also recommend. The deep fried crab was also delicious and I'd recommend that as well! Every cocktail we had was delicious, I'd definitely recommend them. They're beautiful and complex in flavour. Staff was excellent, very kind. Definitely a place I'd revisit in future visits. **Also recommend booking through the eatigo app for a discount!

Had wonderful dinner in one our last night’s in Bangkok. We arrived very early so we had the whole place go ourselves til more customers came in later on. The resturant ambiance is truly thai with performances music & dance. The pad thai is good as well as deep fried river shrimps in tamarind sauce. We ordered a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The foods were served fast & waitresses attentive & helpful. Fairly priced given the location. Will recommend.

Very good place for ig! River view outside and traditional Thai deco indoor. Be fair, food is average. Suggest that taste test before every serving. Tom Yum Kung and stir fried pork with basil were too salty for us. Roasted duck curry was great.

We ordered the banquet and it was delicious! Highly recommend, generous serves. Definitely go there with an appetite. Lovely sitting on the balcony watching the river go by.

What a disappointment!!!! We are guest of the hotel for 3 weeks - and we were looking forward to trying this restaurant. Great environment but food was so disappointing. We had the Tom Yum soup and the little shrimp it had was disgusting . Texture was mushy. We also ordered a duck curry- and it barely had any duck (max 3 little pieces). Bangkok has such an amazing culinary listing that given the nice atmosphere of this restaurant you would think the food would be good. The high rating it has must be by folks that have not left the hotel and are fine with this restaurant.

Authentic Thai cuisine with traditional dance performances. Located in the Sheraton so it was a little pricey. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I got a discount which was nice. Duck red curry and pad see ew noodles were fantastic. Service was friendly and accommodating

Everything is very very good but desserts are bad. 1) waterchesnut coconut milk dessert is not nice at all. 2) mango sticky rice, mango is sour not sweet.

Nice atmosphere. Food was cold. 1 of the three items tasted good. Service is slow and they forgot an order.

Very nice restaurant with awesome shows. Stayed for 3 shows. Food was decent, although expensive for what it was, but that is to be expected eating at a hotel.

Located at Level 2, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel. Came here for dinner. Excellent service, delicious food with a beautiful night view of Chao Praya River & Icon Siam. I must say this is one of the best pad thai I ever had! Comes with a generous portion of eggs, very fresh prawns & the pad thai remains springy despite their version has more gravy than the usual ones.

Very disappointing ! I have had dinner there twice in the past 6 months. They annoynce they have thai traditional dancing but it is not true. They don’t have it anymore… so what’s the point ?? I was with 3 friends and one of my friend had to wait a very long time before being served. We all had our dishes and finished eating when his dish was served to him. The place is pricey compared to what you get, especially because they don’t have the dancing anymore. Don’t bother

👍👍 We love the curry crab! But!! It comes too late.........when it comes, we are all already half full... that's why the service is not 5 star. But it's still recommended! Just make sure that your crab is coming as soon as the other dishes!

👍👍 I didn't taste any different than 40 years ago. I came quite often with my family when I was young. Tenderness and robust flavor all stayed the same for many decades. Line pretty long and longer every time I visit. Full of foreigners. Recommend for taking togo.
