Wat
Phra
Kaew
is
a
holy
and
especially
revered
place
for
Thais,
the
most
important
temple
and
home
to
the
most
valuable
relic
of
the
Kingdom
of
Thailand,
the
sacred
statue
of
the
Emerald
Buddha.
The
monks
say
that
this
66
cm
tall
statue
was
discovered
in
Chiengrai
in
1436,
among
the
rubble
of
a
pagoda
destroyed
by
lightning.
During
its
long
history,
the
statue
managed
to
travel
a
lot
and
even
stayed
in
neighboring
Laos
for
2
centuries
...
But
in
1778
she
was
returned
to
her
homeland,
later,
by
the
future
king.
The
construction
of
the
temple
began
in
1782
during
the
reign
of
Rama
I,
the
founder
of
the
Chakri
dynasty.
Wat
Phra
Kaew
was
conceived
as
the
abode
of
the
Emerald
Buddha
and
the
personal
temple
of
the
king.
The
emerald
statue
can
be
seen
in
the
distance🧐
But
to
tell
the
truth,
a
copy
of
such
statues
can
be
seen
in
many
temples)

Нам
очень
понравился
этот
храм,
правильнее
сказать,
храмовый
комплект)🤩
Изумрудную
статую
можно
увидеть
но
вдалеке🧐
Но
сказать
по
правде,
копию
таких
статуй
можно
увидеть
во
многих
храмах)
Ват
Пхра
Кео
(Wat
Phra
Kaew)
–
это
святое
и
особо
почитаемое
место
для
тайцев,
самый
важный
храм
и
место
хранения
самой
ценной
реликвии
Королевства
Таиланд,
священной
статуя
Изумрудного
Будды.
Монахи
рассказывают,
что
эта
статуя
высотой
в
66 см
была
обнаружена
в
Чиенграе
в
1436
году,
среди
обломков
пагоды,
разрушенной
молнией.
За
свою
долгую
историю
статуя
успела
изрядно
попутешествовать
и
даже
2
столетия
пробыла
в
соседнем
Лаосе...
Но
в
1778
году
она
была
возвращена
на
родину,
в
последствии,
будущим
королем.
Возведение
храма
началось
в
1782
при
правлении
Рамы
I,
основателя
династии
Чакри.
Ват
Пхра
Кео
был
задуман
как
обитель
для
Изумрудного
Будды
и
личный
храм
короля.
