Free! No tickets for entry here. They have a dedicated, multi-story parking structure for this temple. The giant buddha is amazing and a site that must be seen up close. The emerald glass structure and ceiling seem like a psychedelic dream. It also hosts a Buddha museum with sculptures and metal figures. I didnโ€™t seem many other tourists here and mostly locals.

The pagoda has a unique wooden architecture, especially in the main hall. The main hall houses the statues of Buddha and the patriarchs who built the temple. The statue of the ancestor is covered with gold leaf and revered by the Buddhists. The images and statues of this patriarch can be seen everywhere in the temple. In front of the stupa, there is a giant and majestic statue of Buddha sitting in meditation. You can view the Buddha statue from a distance, or take a boat ride along the canal next to the temple.

Probably the most beautiful temple in Bangkok. You will be really speechless walking outside already by the huge Buddha statue. But when you enter the pagoda, you'll also see the beautiful ceiling. From the balcony, you'll have a beautiful view of the city skyline. And compared to all the other famous temples, this one is free!

Incredible statue of Buddha. Very tall and big. The whole area is worth visiting. Entry for free along with free parking. The temple behind closes at 18.00 so visit accordingly.

Temple with an impressive large golden Buddha statue. Stopped here for only 20 minutes as part of a boat ride excursion. Would have liked a little more time to explore. Worth a visit. Beware though that the public restrooms don't have western style toilets and paper.

We visited in the middle of the day, and it was a majestic sight to behold of the sitting Buddha despite the hot & humid weather. A popular spot for both local and tourists alike to sample a taste of Buddhism in Bangkok. There was a tortoise and turtle sanctuary, completed with solemn praying space on grandiose marble floor. We were lucky to visit on a not so busy day with a modest crowd. Highly worth a visit for a little soul praying in an undercover area.

This temple was simply stunning. The statue is so large that it is hard for your mind to grasp the immensity of it. It's absolutely breathtaking to look at up close. There is a place off to the side, if you wish to show your respects and practice ritual. The temple behind the statue houses an absolutely stunning feature at the top. It is quite nice just to sit in there and admire what they have made in there. On the way out there is a beautiful garden, quite large in size, well manicured and much cooler than the surrounding area. There is a cooling microclimate achieved within, a good spot to sit and relax. The bathrooms were quite clean.

Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen There is the huge sitting buddha. There is the funeral ceremony for 100 days of the famous monk. There is the 5 stories of Pagoda. On the second floor, there is the museum, many display stuffs. On the fifth floor, there is the green pagoda. It is very spectacular on the ceiling. There is the elevator for the elders or the handicaps.

one of the biggest and most shining Buddha statue in Bkk. A must visit temple when you're travelling to Bangkok. I went during the day and I spent 3-4 hours enjoying the architecture of the complex. There is also several building/temple where you can enter inside and see local people praying.

Very nice temple complex with the largest Buddha statue in Bangkok that is remarkable. I recommend taking a boat ride to see the statue from the waterway next to the temple. Also, it can get a bit crowded if a tour bus with lots of tourists unload while you are there.

It's been a while since this temple museum has been open again. But seriously awe-inspiring interior and views of the surrounding area. Worthy of an early morning trip while the city awakes.

What a wonderful complex, for free, absolutely stunning and with a great view of the sunset. We went there by public transport (metro, but you can also go by bus), very easy! It wasn't too busy and we spent a few hours walking around and enjoying the views. Definitely recommend it!

This temple is a must-visit destination, renowned for its extraordinary golden Buddha crafted from pure copper, offering a mesmerizing spectacle. The main temple, a serene sanctuary for prayer, demands a respectful silence from its visitors. Additionally, the temple complex boasts a unique five-storey museum, showcasing an eclectic collection of Buddha statues created from diverse materials, reflecting remarkable creativity. Nearby, visitors can enjoy a selection of charming cafes and ice cream shops, adding to the overall experience.

A must visit temple if you're in Bangkok. The Buddha statue was the tallest I've ever visited. There's also a museum with lots of ancient historical collections from the past. But the main attraction is the beautiful wat right at the top floor. The lighting provided it with a magnificent 360 view even up to the wall decorated with beautiful symbols and Buddha's images.

What a beautiful majestic Bhuddha statue the temple has. Must visit! The way in to the temple maybe complicated but it really is worth the visit! Beautiful, clean and serene temple by the river. The carpark is plenty!

The most amazing temple of Buddha in my opinion across the city of Bangkok. Amazing view which is a must visit for everyone interested in seeing the best Buddha image. No entrance fee also.

Nice temple in town with big Buddha statue and very well decorated pagoda. Many tourists on the day I visited but the parking lot are sufficiently provided but charged. I spent 2 hours in the temple and was enjoy with the museum there. Will be there again someday. I do recommend this temple but make sure you have few hours to fully enjoy !

My visit to Pak Nam Temple in Bangkok was a great experience. The temple itself is very beautiful and peaceful, with a large golden chedi that is a sight to behold. The interior of the temple is also impressive, with a large collection of Buddha images and other religious artifacts. The only downside to my visit was the narrow car entry, which was a bit of a challenge to navigate. However, once I got inside, the parking lot was spacious and easy to find a spot. Despite the large number of people visiting the temple, it didn't feel too crowded. The temple is large enough to accommodate a good number of visitors without feeling cramped. Overall, I would give Pak Nam Temple 4 out of 5 stars. It's a beautiful place to visit and take some pictures, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and clear your mind.

Wow. Simply wow. The largest buddha statue in Bangkok(not all Thailand) and it's magnificent. A huge glowing golden statue in the sky. This is a focal point for locals to pay respects and tourists to visit. It's also a working template so the monks will be milling around looking busy. The architecture is also magnificent here. Simply a must visit. This will be on my 'Thailand Life' page.

Nice temple complex, calm eventhough in such a rural area. A place where you most likely will find more locals then tourists, also respect funerals and other ceremonies in that place, so no hat and proper clothing.

A beautiful temple in Bangkok. There is a big buddha at the center of the temple. Easy to go by public transportation or driving. There are a lot of free parking spaces in the building but free fee limit at an hour.

Not that bad temple. Except gigantic Buddha statue and emerald looking like art object on the probably 5th floor in one of the buildings, there is quite grieving atmosphere, narrow pathways, darkish indoors. Just overall the vibes arenโ€™t nice in there.

Wat No Visiting Charges, Mostly Youtubers visit via MRT (Bang Phai station) but I tried to visit via Wutthakat BTS Station (เธงเธธเธ’เธฒเธเธฒเธจ). Please note this is Bangkok's Biggest Buddha Statue not of Thailand. The statue, built in the meditation posture on a lotus flower, is 69m tall, or about the height of a 20-storey building, and 40m wide. The statue is coated with gold and structure is actually made of pure bronze.

The tallest bhudda in Bangkok. Enjoyed my visit, plenty photo opportunities and beautiful sites. Also worth visiting Wat Khun Chan, which is just a 5 min walk across the river.

Impressive temple and statue. Near to MRT but even the walk is not far you need to pass small village. Only worth it on spare time for tourists. But when you go itโ€™s huge.
