It is a truly beautiful old style centre, unfortunately hit hard by covid with most shops closed although recently the hotel has become more buzzy. The Happy Fest restaurant at the Silom front is also approaching its anniversary since reopening after covid. Bangkok has very few old style hotels like this. It is worth a visit for this alone.

This place is a ghost town. I've been back to Bangkok many times since I moved away 21 years ago, but not been back to Silom Village. Nothing was open - all shops shuttered with stock still in them. Thanks to Syed, who happened to have one of his shops open, I was able to still buy a few of the bedspreads and textile items I came looking for, but I'm heartbroken as I had fond memories of browsing quality handicrafts and then sitting down to a vibrant seafood dinner with dance performances here.

Experience in Bangkok city. Here restaurant for local people and visotors. Price good. Tasty. DO NOT Forget to wash the spoon and fork in the boiling water station. I didn't know about that :)) Local people were washed there spoon and fork before use it. Look for a stainless steel boiling water square shape pot... Or watch the local people.

The receptionist lady was super nice. She could speak English so it was easy to communicate with her. The hotel however needs an upkeep to go back to it's former glory, need new or to repair old furnishings. But other than that it was a very nice room, with good facilities like smart TV and wifi and toiletries.

Unfortunately all shops were closed. The restaurant moved on the front area of the hotel... so it's noisy and dirty. I hope soon to return back to before covid situations because it was one of the most interesting places in Bangkok

We went to the food court here as a group. We all ordered different things and the food seemed fine for all. However service isn't the best, you don't what stall is serving what and most servers didn't speak any English, which added to the confusion. It should be an improved experience if you speak Thai. I wouldn't rule out going back though, Pad Thai there was awesome.

Nice place mainly sea food stuff there. Beer is good price but food and juice is little bit pricy. We ordered these which is taps style not big plates with mango juice and Thai ice tea and the bill was 1000 baht. Shrimp was Good, octopus not that much and the oyster weren't that fresh. Juice was good. We didn't go there again although it was walking distance to us.

We went in the evening and most places were still close. But looks like a nice place to hang out in when everything is open!

A sadly struggling treasure of pre millennium Thailand. Some resilient shops are still open and eager to trade, and it is a great restaurant at the front with a huge menu of choices and beer selection! Sadly, it is not advertised at all by nearby hotels, but it's super easy to walk to! And it has multiple TV screens for watching live sport in comfort! Staff are friendly and happy to help! If you're staying locally, pop for a very generously sized pint of local or imported beer for a good price and definitely stop by for local food! Covid hit them hard, but it has so much character and charm that it would be a real tragedy to lose anymore! So if you want to save a genuine piece of Bankok history, give it a go!

As a repeated Customer of this hotel, I am terribly disappointed by the post covid very poor maintenance of this good old hotel. The maintenance house keeping staff behave very badly with discourteous irresponsible attitude. Rooms without WiFi. Bad Smelling.Things are in shambles without proper management. Not at all recommended.

Dinner set was good. Dance show was good traditional Thai dancing but could have been explained. Performance was fair drinks expensive. Nice night out.

Not like before , unfortunately. So many shops out of business now and closed. The charm has run out. Sad.

Went to the dinner and a show here. Dinner was abysmal, just horrible. The quality of the food was so low that you should eat before you get here. The service was good. The show was decent, a bit short but I would call it authentic. I don't know much about Siamese dancing or tradition but it was executed alright.

Good place to watch traditional Thai dance show in cheaper price with Thai dinner (750THB include show and dinner). As someone said in review, dinner was horrible but show was quite good. Try to get understand the Thai historical background and culture, good to visit. You need a reservation.

'Reun Thep' Dance Performance in Silom Village: This is a tourist trap - nothing else! Dancing and the costumes were impressive for me and my wife. However, the food has nothing to do with real thai food. Any street kitchen provides better and way more authentic food than this restaurant. Any drink (softdrinks, beer, cocktail, etc.) was super expensive and even on top of the ticket price of around 1000 baht depending on what menu you choose. In summary: Really bad food, super expensive, good dance performance. We will never visit this place again!

A Well thought out idea for showcasing the original talent and a great marketing idea. The old structure is kept well intact, preserved and we'll maintained. Kept very neat and tidy with a good mix of variety of outlets with grand merchandise, antique, handicrafts, textile including restaurants. Compliment for a well maintained toilet. A place to me marked and visited
