Wat Rajapradit-Sathitmahasimaram is a royal monastery of the King Rama IV. It is the beautiful place for visit. It was located behind from city but it stays in the central. Some people call this temple " Secret Temple is in secret garden (Saranrom Park). I also agree with that. ^^ Should you find beautiful temple and peaceful place in Bangkok? I have to introduce this temple in your choice........

Resting place of King Mongkut's ashes with murals of his observation of the 1868 solar eclipse. A quiet temple which you are likely to have to yourself.

The beautiful temple very close to the grand palace just 2 mins by walk. This temple is pretty quiet, but stunning decoration of Buddhist style.

I didn't have the chance to go inside because it was closed at the time. There wasn't that much on the outside to see. Plenty of dogs barking on other side of the wall and one walking next to the temple.

First thought that comes to mind, comfortable. You will be amongst the main tourist temples, but this one, for anyone who has seen many temples (or not) may find it, ya, cozy, calm and quiet (and it was New Years day, 2023 with a huge crowd of people sitting on the grass just up at the front of the soi).

One of the best kept secrets near the Royal Palace. The compact temple is a gem of King Rama V's early reign. The layout is well designed. The ordination hall features beautiful decorations and historic murals. The hall is open only on Buddhist holy days.

We can’t see inside the main hall because they have a merit ceremony inside.

The architecture is beautiful. Interior decoration is invaluable. Especially the windows decorated with pearl in the temple.

It's one of three temples revered by ancient tradition to be situated within capital. The hall has a collection of interesting mural paintings depicting the 12 royal ceremonies and the legend of the solar eclipse phenomenon as memorial to king Rama IV's trip to observe the eclipse in 1968. Worth a visit.
