Royal Pavillion Mahajetsadabadin is an absolute place of cultural and curiosity - certainly worth investigating whilst you are in Bangkok - and if this is what you are looking for.

Temporarily closed while refurbishment replanting and repairs are underway. Be aware there are several transients in the area that stare and the odd racketeer that will push his luck as a "tour guide". The garden is at the northern side of Loha Prasat- also worthy of a visit.

This place used to theatre before, nowadays it became the formal space for The King RAMA III Monument with open space for Formal Guest of the city and/or Country. You can see The Golden Mountain and Iron Temple in the background.

A very nice and pleasant looking place. This green corner in the center of Bangkok is very well-kept. The advantage of this place is the proximity to the Wat Saket temple, which makes it all the more encouraging to look there.

The palace is a symbol of Thailand's royal history and serves as a significant landmark in the city. The beautiful gardens surrounding the palace provide a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

Be careful, the guard of this place is part of a fraud plot with Tuc Tuc drivers and temple guards. Don't buy, it's a scam, it gives you a paper map and offers boat trips, double the price, also jewelry without taxes but it is a scam, they are giving you inflate prices.

Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin in Bangkok, Thailand:- The Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin was built in 1989 as a structure for the king to welcome dignitaries and royal visitors. It is in a park-like setting along Ratchadamnoen Avenue, the main boulevard used for royal processions. Nearby is a monument to King Rama III and the Wat Ratchanatdaram. Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin is one of tourist spot in Bangkok along side of Ratchadamnoen Avenue, near by Democracy Monument. Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin is a pavilion or residence for the king when his majesty go out to meet the Royal visitor. It was built in 1989 instead Salachalermthai. In addition, there is King Rama III Royal Monument in this area, too. The Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin (gold structure on right) is located at the corner of Ratchadamnoen Road and Thanon Maha Chai, near Khao San Road. It is a very popular area with lots of pedestrian traffic. Also in view is Wat Ratchanatdaram in the background left and center, and a statue of King Rama III, The bronze statue, half larger than life size, is seated on a throne. The monument was built by the Fine Arts Department in 1990. The surrounding area is decorated with beautiful plants, with the Royal Reception Pavilion and three minor pavilions known as Sala Rai nearby. Many travellers would love to take photo all around here. As here is one of marvelous golden landmark in Phra Nakorn area. When you finish taking photos here you can visit another place where is near by such as Mahakarn Fortness, The Gloden Mount, Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, Democracy Monument, Queen’s gallery, Wat Ratchanatdaram and Lohaprasart and so on from Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin spot, you can see a golden stupa in the left side.
