Really small temple. Nice, like all the temples on Thailand, but not a tourist destination unless you have a lot of free time.

Devasathan or Royal Brahmin Office of Thai Royal Court is a Hindu temple near Wat Suthat. The temple was built 200 years ago. It is the official center of Brahmin in Thailand. The temple is the home of the Court Brahmins, who are descended from an ancient lineage of priests from Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. The Brahmins perform many important royal and religious ceremonies for the Monarchy of Thailand every year. The temple was founded in 1784 by King Rama I, the founder of the Chakri dynasty.

If you visit here expect to be very respectful of their rules. You have to be quiet and they do not allow any photography or video. Still very lovely and beautiful.

Devasthan is a stunningly beautiful Hindu temple located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. As soon as you approach the temple, you'll be struck by the intricate and elaborate design of the building's facade. The brightly colored tiles and ornate sculptures create a truly awe-inspiring sight, and the temple's size only adds to the grandeur of the building. Once you enter the temple, the feeling of serenity and peace is palpable. The soft lighting and the gentle fragrance of incense immediately transport you to a spiritual space, and you feel as though you are in the presence of something truly divine. The interior of the temple is just as breathtaking as the exterior, with intricate carvings and paintings adorning the walls and ceiling. The temple's resident priests are welcoming and friendly, and they are always happy to answer any questions you may have about the temple's history or the Hindu faith. Their gentle guidance and serene demeanor only add to the overall sense of calm and spirituality within the temple. Overall, a visit to Devasthan is an incredibly peaceful and spiritual experience. It's a must-visit for anyone interested in Hinduism or simply looking for a moment of serenity in the midst of bustling Bangkok. The temple's beauty and the welcoming nature of its staff make it a true gem in the heart of the city.
