Easy access and car parking space. Location on chaopraya riverside. The shrine is not really big but considered to be the oldest Kuan U shrine in Thailand. For those who come with respect and belief in Kuan U, you won’t disappoint.

Beautiful. Went here on a local tour. It was just us and our tour guide who was of Chinese/Thai decent. Paid our respects and took in the beauty of the shrine and the art.

Gong Wu Shrine is located in Khlong San area, next to the Chao Phraya River. It is an old shrine that is about 281 years old. There are often people who come to worship regularly. It can be reached in many ways such as boat, car or public transport. It has beautiful and venerable architecture. I recommend going around 2pm as the sun is not too strong and there is a slight breeze from the river.

A remote area where Grab cannot even find the location. A lot of 关公statues inside and you can ask for a Devine lot on your query. Then scan a QR code on the number you get to get the answer. Should be a popular Chinese temple for the residents here to wish for things done. Opposite the temple is a building of 3 storey high but the top 2 floors seems like no one came to pray to. The caretaker is of Teochew descent and able to talk in Teochew. To get a grab car here is next to impossible. We walked out all the way to the main road to get one.

The oldest Chinese temple in this area. It is since 1658 or earlier. One moment: so much candles have Orthodox usually but not Buddhists. Calligraphy "One mountain - one human" was very interesting. Mai trat.

Guan Yu, {Guan Wu} Shrine in Bangkok Yai, easier to grab a taxi to get here than taking public transportation; don't waste your time finding your way on foot. Heard policemen from most Asian countries pay respect to Guan Gong, so come on over when in Bangkok, are you sure it was just another old folk tales?

This shrine is the oldest Guan Yu's shrine in Thailand. It is located in a very scenic area with more than 200 years of history right next to the Chao Phraya River. The spiritual power of Guan Yu god is very strong inside. The shrine's caretakers are also very helpful and friendly. If you are a believer in god Guan Yu, you need to visit here and experience the wonder first-handedly.

🫤 Went on this cruise for our last night in Bangkok, the cruise itself and the sights you could see were quite nice. We had a seat right at the front of the boat which was great. The thing was it was an absolute free for all for picture taking there were constantly people walking around without masks...

👍👍 For anyone love shopping, especially brand name stuff. Very busy crowded shopping mall always. It is located near by the river bank where many cruises are flocking for dinner at night time. Water show at night is interesting too. A place should not miss in BKK when you travel.
