The real reason to stay at this hotel is for the white balcony views of city. Beautiful views! The breakfast was delicious and the pool area was pretty and relaxing. The staff was friendly and the main lobby was nice. However, the pricing to eat or drink at the hotel outside of the breakfast buffet was outrageous. We ended up leaving for our meals and didn’t enjoy the sky bar more than one time on our week stay. After spending $125 on two bottles of beer and two glasses of low end wine, we decided it wasn’t worth it. Forget eating there…. It would have cost $500 for two to eat dinner. The rooms were outdated a bit with stains on the carpet. To compensate for the highly expensive food and drinks, there are several nicely rated restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is within half a mile of the ferry port with a free ferry that takes you to the amazing ICON SIAM mall.

Our stay here was excellent from the minute we arrived we were treated so well. The staff here are so welcoming and amazing. We received an upgrade on the tower block suite which was perfect, so spacious clean and beautiful balcony views of the city. The breakfast was lovely, we sat out by the pool each morning. There is a crepe and pancake chef who makes them to order. There is tower lounge is for guests who are in the tower block, the lounge offers free drinks and snacks up until 6pm each day. Again the staff here are lovely and welcoming, they are very attentive with the refilling and go that extra mile. The sky bar on the roof of the hotel also has amazing views, the drinks here are extremely expensive. All in all I would return here, well worth the money and such a stunning hotel which excellent staff.

Positive things first: Rooms are really big and the view is great, nice staff as well! Downside: The interior of the rooms is old and not what you‘d expect for a 5-star hotel. What really made me give this whole experience 2 stars is the fact that I left my luggage with almost all of my belongings at the hotel after my check-out and when I came back to grab my stuff I realized that they just put all the luggage from all the guests that left their things for the day in a unguarded and public area of the side of the back entrance where literally everyone has access to.

Was there in September 2022. When reach the top floor, saw the small red colour bar. Our intention is to go sky rooftop bar. The staff keep telling us the rooftop is under developing, we are like what? Then only we said we will google again and call the rooftop bar reception, then only he show us to the lift to the rooftop. When reach rooftop, you will passing by the champagne area, the girl keep selling the menu . I told her that we wanted to have cocktail at the rooftop and see the scenery . She keep asking us wait a while, and meantime keep pushing the menu. I wonder are they earn lots commision by doing this. After we insist to take cocktail and go to the sky rooftop, then only she gave up and show us to the sky bar. The price there is over pricey as well. I wont be back here again . One time experience is more than enough.

Worst check-in experience, booked a room and got a message asking when we would arrive to ensure a smooth check-in informed the hotel this would be 13:30 and they confirmed. Upon arrival the informed me the room would not be ready until 14:00 and we could wait in the tower lounge which we had also booked but this did require closed shoes (no slippers). Only for the lounge to send us away because one of us had shorts (combined with closed loaners and a dress shirt) which reception told us was fine. This has ruined the whole experience for us, stay away from this hotel go to the Carlton or Sheraton or mandarin instead they know what hospitality is.

A beautiful hotel. The service is great. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The room was very big and clean. The view from the balcony... priceless. There is a gym and pool. The view from the roof is absolutely spectacular.

This review refers to the restaurant on the 52nd floor Pro: - very good and caring service: I booked a table for a birthday and they gave us the table with the best view and brought us a little cake with my friends name on it and were singing happy birthday. That was very sweet. - view: the river-view in the restaurant on the 52nd floor was amazing (if you go to the bar on the 52nd floor the view will be not as nice, it's on the other side). I even liked that view more than in the Skybar on the 64th floor as the 52nd restaurant view is so close to the river. Con: - prices: the prices are astronomical. 1200 baht for a cocktail plus 7% tax and 10% service fee is really a lot (not only for Thailand). Everyone should know that you pay for the Hollywood reputation. It's a place for tourists, Thais go to other skybars and some waiters don't even speak Thai. - the food was okay, in relation to the price nothing special. The fried rice for 1000 baht can be bought at every corner in Bangkok. The beef wagyu on the other hand was delicious. - payment issues: after I got home I realized that I was charged in euro and not in thai baht. Usually restaurants and shops always ask if you want to pay in your home currency or in baht. I wasn't asked even though it says on the bill itself : "I accept that I have been offered a choice of currencies for payment". Due to the currency conversion I lost 11€/420 baht. Unfortunately that left a very bad impression at the end.

Overall an outstanding experience. We took the premium suit in a high floor with river view. Be aware, if u don't take the river view, you will be very disappointed. The pros: absolutely outstanding breakfast even for a five star hotel, with 3 days variety before it's repeating. The rooms are not new, but also not yet too old. We really enjoyed it, but can see how people complaining about the dated rooms. Familys with kids be aware. The balconies are not safe for kids at all. Kids can easily fall through between the gaps. It can be locked permanently by the housekeeping. Which is basically your only option when traveling with children. They offer also to lock and unlock it as often as u want and in any time of the day, so u can still make use of it for a romantic evening

Fantastic views, breakfast at the pool was lovely. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had access to the tower lounge with unlimited food and drink which was amazing. However, the price for food and drink in general is very expensive and even though we had a great stay, we couldn't justify staying in the hotel for food and drink when there is such a variety of places to eat and drink nearby.

View is nice on higher floors. But then the rooms are not so great condition, the service is not on five star level and prices are high. Recommend that you stay elsewhere if you want 5 star or even 4 star treatment, but the roof top bars are worthwhile the visit for the views.

If views, beautiful large rooms, great service and amazing food is what you are after.. This is your hotel!! We had the pleasure of staying at Lebua for 2 weeks and we could not flaunt it. The manager is kind and welcoming, he makes sure your stay is looked after! The staff are so attentive and professional. The restaurants, WOW! The views WOW! PINK BAR and SIRROCO, nothing else like it. We will miss it, but we will also be back soon! Thank you for a lovely 2 weeks!

I made a reservation because the hotel was selected as the World's Best Hotel in 2019. There are many good and bad reviews on Google reviews. I was a little worried, but the conclusion was that the World's Best Hotel was right. I stayed on the 24th floor and had a great city view. The weather in Bangkok is very hot, but the hotel was so cool. The temperature was already kept low before the customer checked in. The balcony was locked, but the staff came and opened it. Although the hotel is old, the facilities are well maintained and the noise, which was a problem in other reviews, was not a problem. The bed was big and the bedding was good. The water worked well and the bathtub was great. There were a lot of customers when checking in, so it was a little messy, but I checked in kindly. Satisfied, but wish there was cold water or a welcome drink. If I visit Bangkok again, I will be willing to stay at this hotel again. If you are traveling to Bangkok, I recommend this hotel as a place to stay at least once.

This place is advertised as 5 stars hotel but it’s the furthest from that. I will start with the good things. 1-Customer service was great specially the nice lady by the elevator. 2- the river and city views from the room were great. As far as the bad things that make this place a 2 star hotel. The room was so old, you feel like you went back in time 20-30 years. There was weed smell all over the place. We requested a no smoking room but the room smelled like a smoking room all the time. Wifi is public! You can never get it to work properly. The rooftop bar is nice but it was extremely expensive! More than rooftop prices in LA! Again, the only good thing about this place was their customer service. Do your self a favor and book a proper 5 star hotel if you are planning to spend that much money.

Special shout-out to Lebua’s most amazing concierge, Kelly. He was super friendly, observant, knowledgeable, and just really patient. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly and very efficient. The only thing to note is that slippers/flip flops aren’t allowed at their breakfast buffet. I was asked to change out of it by my server. Otherwise, my stay at Lebua was amazing and pleasant. Looking forward to staying there when I visit Bangkok again.

This review is a long overdue account of our visit to Lebua State Tower in 2017. The reader may be wondering why after 5 years I am just now leaving an account of our stay. The amenities at Lebua were very impressive and it was a great pleasure to stay in such a renowned accommodations. The view of the river was beautiful, and exactly as we had hoped after seeing the hotel featured in popular motion pictures. The restaurant at the dome, however served some of the most unappealing oysters that I have ever had. Imported the day before from France the quality was unlike the rest of the hotel. This memory resurfaces whenever I eat oysters and over lunch today was a reminder that still I had not left a review. This experience is always recited to our guests when we eat oysters together. The view from the top of the tower is breathtaking, however, be warned, if you are not drinking alcohol hand over fist then you'll simply be asked to get out. The experience overall, taking into consideration the pressure to drink at the top of the hotel is an excellent 3 star - perhaps almost 4! If you find yourself considering staying at the hotel and are looking for something to console yourself about rest assured that the breakfast is among the best I have eaten in Thailand. This is a complete summary of my experience at the hotel. I cannot wait to return in the future and update my rating to 4-stars or higher!

A “must visit” in your trip to Bangkok. Anyway I must say that the quality/price ratio was quite poor seven years ago, but I couldn’t tell you what it’s like at the moment because I haven’t been there since. The rooms looked a bit old and worn for my taste. (I suggest to check on this.) Awesome breakfast. I remember that shorts were not allowed to visit the attic. No problem here; you can rent a pair of trousers on the stairs outside the hotel from many people offering this service with their suitcases full of clothes.

Amazing views, incredible breakfast very nice people. We will come back! If you take the boat, you can be in the city center in 20 minutes, so it is very easy to move. To the markets, the hotel offers a taxi at a good price.

Went to enjoy the view, never felt so judged in my life. Right of the bat, the moment we left our ride, the security guard promptly and rather rudely told us men should be wearing trousers/jeans/pants. He points us towards a clothing stand which just so happens to conveniently be there; the woman at the stand (who was quite rude) was charging 300/400baht for jeans (JEANS! In Bangkok. In September. You see where I'm going with this?) and gave them to my father to try them on, he told her no, he'd rather not go than suffer through having to wear jeans for more than 2 min. He gave the jeans back and the woman yanked then from his hands, pretty much cursing us out. The rest of the group came to an agreement and went into the building regardless. We go to the lift, and they sort of separate us from the hotel guests. We enter it, and once we get out, they tells us we're required to have 1 drink per person, you can't just walk around the balcony a bit. When asked the average price of drinks, they told us it went from 500 bahts up to 1000 bahts. They walked us to the tables (to pressure us into staying), showed us the menu, where we verified it was nowhere close to the average they informed us (we're talking mostly 1500-2000bahts, with the cheapest thing being 700) We left, so glad we didn't spend those 400 baht on the jeans.

One of my favorite hotels in Bangkok, the service here in unbelievable. It exceeded my expectations, the staffs & the management went above & beyond. I celebrate my Birthday here every year and every year it gets better & better. All of the bars & restaurants here at lebua are amazing. Can't wait to be back again next year December 2024.

Well, it is definitely worth a visit! You mostly pay for the view, the name and the location. We booked a tower club suite, which was on the 53rd floor and the view was really stunning! The room was well maintained. The only minus were the extremely hard beds. For some that is probably a plus, however. Service was very friendly and helpful! Mr. Lachin, the hotel manager, helped us with everything. The tower club lounge was a cool experience! We were served drinks and could eat snacks from the buffet, which were delicious. One of the best things certainly is the breakfast buffet in cafe Mozu. The variety is almost unrivalled and you will find something new every morning! Altogether not the cheapest hotel and there were some little disappointments along the way - but the pverall experience was good and we were glad we stayed here for some nights!

Mixed feelings about this one. Location is superb, amazing breakfasts and really good customer service. But room furniture saw better times (especially visible on kitchenette) and prices of everything are very steep when compared with other similar hotels. Also met some strange things like having teas among amenities but room was missing kettle. Had room in 52nd floor facing river so the view from balcony was great.

One of the best hotels I've started at Bangkok. Make sure you book a room above level 51 for the amazing views across the city. Bring lots of money if you want to use the sky bar as it's very expensive. I bought 2 rum and coke for £75 at the time of exchange rate. Breakfast was included with a good selection. All the staff go out of there way and will make you feel like a King or Queen for your stay. To note.. paid £300 for the deposit on arrival with no issues getting money back at the end but I didn't use any of the items they offered in the room and fridge 😅. There is a 7/11 shop at the back of the hotel and easy to stock your room up. In the room there are full cooking facilities with microwave and hob. Hotel has a swimming pool but was Shadowed from the sun because of the height of the hotel blocking the sun. I guess this could be good if you're staying and it's very hot and to cool down quickly. If you like the night life across the city be prepared to use other means of transport other than taxi getting there as the roads are a nightmare until later at night. I used the sky train that's only a few minutes walk away and got me around much quicker and cheaper. I also used the boat getting up and down the river much quicker and cheaper than a taxi during the busy times. I would come back to this hotel at the right price checking online.

I find that it’s rare to visit a hotel that truly lives up to its reputation, but the Lebua hotel 100% did. The rooms were priced reasonably and of a good standard. However, where they truly stood out was their service. Every interaction from the concierge and reception staff to the waiters / waitresses in their two Michelin Star restaurant, The Chefs Table; everything was immaculate and provided with a smile. I would highly recommend anyone to visit and see for themselves, I genuinely excellent experience. We’ll be visiting again soon.

This is a ten star plus hotel which is amazing value. The rooms are huge with amazing views over Bangkok. The staff , the service, the quality of the food and location are something which has to be experienced rather than read opinions on. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

The room is not as boutiques as expected. Hot shower doesn’t work well, can’t enter the balcony which was the reason I gave 3 stars. I like to see the river view and not having to get stuck in air con room all the time. Pros. Buffet breakfast was great, love the pool

The rooftop bar's service was exceptional, with attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the toilets, lacking in luxury design, were a noticeable contrast to the otherwise upscale ambiance. While the overall experience was positive, attention to upgrading restroom aesthetics could elevate the bar's overall appeal.

Rooms are a little old and could use updating, but overall this place is stunning!! Service was impeccable- we didn’t have to open doors or touch our luggage hardly at all. We got a room on 58th floor and jeez, the view from the balcony( city side) was mind blowing. We went to the sky bar, and went to get dinner at Mezzaluna. I’d go to this place again in a heartbeat.

Stayed a few nights, highly recommend upgrading to get club lounge/ (tower suite). Have lovely wide variety breakfast downstairs near the pool, relax and have a swim then check out the lunch and afternoon tea options at the club lounge incl alcohol. Don’t forget no thongs on feet and dress pants for men.

There is only one word for this Hotel, WOW, amazing experience of a 5 Star in Bangkok, probably not something i will do often but this stay was fantastic. Large room, nice bathroom, balcony and a huge comfortable bed. What more could you want. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazing and the Pool was in a great spot. The rooftop experience was mind blowing, bit windy lol. The only downside, for me, was the location, i enjoy certain parts of Bangkok and they were a bit too far for me but, nevertheless, my last 2 nights in Bangkok were truly enjoyed. Thank You Lebua

Went there for a drink, for me is just normal. There are some other places is much nicer view compare to here. Nothing much special, will not visit again. There is no chair for you to sit, at the entrance they introduce the champagne is crazy expensive.

Can just rate the bar and I say don’t even go there. I understand that they want to separate well paying guests with the tourists which just go there for a picture. They have 6 bars up there and try to route you to floor 61 or a small side terrace. First thing they do is- showing.you the Champaign menu :) long story short - I love spending money in a great location, great service and food - this location seems to have nothing from the above mentioned once. There are much better alternatives ✌🏻

Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance. Having time with my friend and experiencing the rooftop. Plus a tour from John and Joemar was amazing. The elegance bar is luxurious, with a view of the city nights. Perfect view to relax after a work. 100% Reccommmend .

Loved this hotel. It was really clean we had a 3 bedroom suite and it came with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room area, balcony and the master suite had a shower, tub and a walk in closet. It was so spacious for the 6 of us. The hotel also has car service (BMWs) which was great because we didn’t get in until midnight. The hotel has a rooftop bar and during the day has happy hour (complimentary) and asp breakfasts which was amazingly tasty. They offered different types of fresh juices and soy of different breakfast options. They also have a spa and we got massages. If I came back to Bangkok I would definitely stay here again

Lebua is, without a doubt, the best hotel property I've stayed at till date in my life. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with separate bedroom and sitting areas. The check-in and check-out experience was smooth and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The food at the hotel was also very good, regardless of the cuisine (we tried Italian, Indian and Thai). The ambience of the bars and restaurants at the hotel are good and the hotel has easily accessible markets and restaurants nearby. Overall, it was an exceptional experience staying at Lebua (I've stayed at the hotel 3 times) and I will definitely stay here again if I visit Bangkok in the future.

One of my favorite hotels. The rooms were lavishly furnished, and we enjoyed the quiet breakfast by the pool. Highly recommend the club level experience. I feel the Dome is a bit overrated, and you have to have reservations far in advance. It's nice to go up once for the view and to snap some pictures, but you get the same view inside the lounge. (Plus, you're inside and out of the wind.)

The Scenery and Ambiance was just Amazing!! What impressed me the most is the attentive, efficient, highly personalized and warmth service felt by all staff. Watch out for overcharging and over pricing!!!!! Please extremely careful with the cost of drinks, they are extremely expensive. I’m leaving with bitter memories with the Sky bar of this hotel.

Love this hotel. My fav Hotel in Asia. Wonderful rooms and amazing staff who cannot do enough. First time I have not given 5* as I specifically email the tower club to ask if the club suite was open. This was confirmed to me, however on arrival the there using the meso (breakfast area) with a severely cut down service and menu that was previously available. However still a wonderful destination.

I didn’t get the chance to stay: the hotel cancelled my pre-paid booking due to a “significant mistake in the rate” … and I didn’t get the refund!!!! How can such a famous place behave like a low-tier property, with such illicit practice?? Complain has been submitted towards TAT

Always my favorite place to stay in Asia. Large rooms, amazing views from the club rooms and sky bar. Executive lounge not open (serving executive lounge in the breakfast area, was too windy to work) staff brilliant.

Spectacular location and views. Eyewatering prices for drinks to keep the riff raff out. Be dressed correctly and with shoes (although they lent me shoes as I was in flip flops). Children can in fact go up, but will be restricted to the "champagne bar" area away from the edge. Don't fall for the "champagne cocktails" only trick (eye-bleeding prices) and order normal cocktails. Cocktails were average at best. So, you go for the views and the photo-op, decide how much money you want to drop.

Lovely stay in Bangock but definitely not perfect. First of all, the views from the balcony and the rooftop bar are spectacular so just worth staying for that. The breakfast and gym/pool area are great as well. Now, if you want to eat anywhere in the hotel the prices are ridiculous, so don’t bother. Also the rooms are huge but the living room is a total waste of of space and feels like a reception in an office building and the actual room is a bit dates. Still, I would recommend staying here as the view and breakfast are amazing!

They are the definition of great service! Wonderful team, nice rooms (a little dated, but the service makes up for it honestly). The pool gets limited sunlight due to new buildings that have come up around there. They even had someone waiting at the airport when we were leaving to receive us and help us with our bags. Epic!

One of the worst place ever. cannot sleep until 2 am, you can clearly hear the conversation from your next room. Terrible soundproof ever. and also you can hear the snoring sound from your next room. Literally unbelievable.... Thai people have no manner no ettiquette there are 10 more people inside 1 small room and make a noise whole night. No action was proceed even ask help to manager.

The room was huge.Having 2 balconies, we managed to see rather far. However, our front view was blocked by another building which I believe is the hospital. The gym is old and not well kept at all.Bugs were flying everywhere. Services at the restaurant and bars were amazing! They looked after every detail and made us feel at home. Breakfast was average though there could have been more choices of food. This luxury hotel does look dated on the exterior. And the shops were all closed amid the Covid situation. I hope things will improve in the future.

Amazing hotel. Second stay here and absolutely faultless service. Pricey for room service and drinks but the hotel itself is good value. The view from the rooms is spectacular and the real selling point for the hotel.

Great experience in every way, fine food, drinking cocktails of all kinds, the view is outstanding. Recommended but, not through travel companies, unless, if you want to just throw money away

Had a great experience for our 1 year anniversary here. They upgraded our room for free which was a lovely surprise. 10/10 for lounge and the breakfast was great. Will be back again. Highly recommend!

Lebua has wonderful view and breakfast. Pool is very clean and so big. Hotel staff is very quick. We made a test we put our empty plate to the side they took it in 2 seconds

They say it is the best hotel in Bangkok? (I can't imagine the others) We changed our room three times, they never gave us what we "PAID FOR". The room smells like cigarettes, it's dirty, old and the truth is that just for an apparently nice view it's not worth the money. I've been to better motels than this hotel 🤢👎🏻

All I can say is that my stay here for 3 nights around 11-24-22 was absolutely amazing! I stayed in the two bedroom, corner unit suite with river and city views. The suite has 4 balconies. Every experience here from check-in , breakfast, room service, the maids , the rooftop bars, and restaurants absolutely blew my mind. You can order food from an outside delivery service, and they will drop off your food just outside the elevators. The room was very clean. I did not leave the hotel for almost two days. The property is so nice and offers so much. Visit the sky tower bar. The views are breathtaking! I can't wait to return. I want to say a special thank you to the front desk manager, Point. Great customer service skills and she sent me a cake for my birthday, so nice!! Thank you, Point.

Great room - staff are super friendly, full breakfast on Mezzanine Level is as good as you will find. The club lounge and restaurants are very good and the views are spectacular. If you are into day tours - there is a good range (a bit lore expensive but easy to arrange) - we loved our tour of river Kwai and the museums - if you book this I’d ask for a different restaurant - the service at the Floating restaurant is as bad as you will find anywhere in the world.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure will love it I'm sure! Beautiful view from Sky Bar, makes you feel like you're in Europe. There's also a section that is quite romantic and comfortable to chill with your partner without much disturbance. A must visit when in Bangkok!
