Good location but not close to the shopping malls. The club 10 room was spacious with a stunning view of the city. The bathtub with the view at night was truly unique. I loved the pool view as well - especially at night. Breakfast was tasty with variety options. Just a suggestion for more vegetarian options.

Very negative - you gave us a smoking room despite asking for a non-smoking room. The room smelled of cigarettes, like in some pub after a week-long party (probably after the New Year's party) - we had a terrible headache, I couldn't sleep at night because I was choking on the smell, I even wrote you an e-mail in the middle of the night, which no one responded to, he deigned to answer. No one apologized to us or offered any compensation - we had to wait until 2 p.m. for a new room, sitting in this stinking room. We have dozens of trips every year, this is absolutely the first time in our history where we asked to change the room due to the conditions - we did it in an expensive five-star hotel, which is a terrible experience. When I think about "Thailand" now, I remember the smell of cigarettes and the fact that I couldn't sleep in a place that was supposed to be the culmination of the end of our vacation and departure. And your hotel ruined everything and no one even apologized for it. We had a Club10 room - practically the most expensive room in the hotel, with a higher standard and service. The entire floor stank of cigarettes, some rooms were left wide open all day, probably to ventilate the room from cigarettes.

Truly awful hotel. The images on their social media must have been taken when the hotel opened in 2015. Public spaces clean and tidy but the rooms need deep cleaning and refurbishment. Arrived at check in time but the room we requested was not vet ready. As we were hot and in need of a rest we accepted the first room available. The room was very hot, and the temperature did not fall below 26 degrees despite the air conditioning being at its lowest setting. The room also smelled of smoke. Towels old and threadbare, the bathroom was dirty, the walls were marked, the do not disturb did not work, there was a hole in the sheets and a light was missing from the bathroom. I complained to the day manager, who was very helpful and offered two alternatives, however the quality of the hotel did not meet my standards. I would not recommend this hotel and only stayed for one night as the hotel I wanted to stay in could not accommodate me for all four nights of my stay in Bangkok. I will be writing to the CEO of the Amara Group in Singapore as this hotel is only a three star at the very most.

There is a used teethpaste remaining in bathroom. I have already stayed in many different hotels but it is the first time I see such dirty environment. Their cleaning staff did not do their job well. I afraid that everything is more dirty than I think. Plus, there is a connected door between two rooms. Our neighbor played a loud music in the morning 6 am. The noise passed this door to our room, not even basic sound insulation. If you want to have a good sleep quality, better reject this hotel. Although this hotel claims they are 4 stars with relatively high price, the quality is worse than the cheap one. The basic cleaning and soundproof are not enough at all.

Terrible place. First of all, the pictures are very deceiving, the pool is tinier than it looks and there are no sun beds which is crazy for Bangkok weather. We arrived around 11am, they told us a room was ready but we would have to pay 45€ for early check in, no good will at all. In addition they had closed the pool for a private event and we were only staying for two nights. They collect money from guests who pay for these amenities and then rent out again privately, then they tell the guests sorry and still ask them to pay for a 3 hour earlier check in. You would think they would maybe compensate for this and give us the room 3 hours earlier for not being able to use the amenities for half of our stay. To make a guest wait or pay extra especially when you cannot offer them what they paid for is greedy and despicable. Just go somewhere else, there are better hotels for less money.

Only club 10 rooms have got good view. Reception staff need training on communication and customer satisfaction. Sunset and night view of city from the rooftop pool are good if the weather is nice. Breakfast buffet had variety but lacked taste. I will recommend this place only if you are on a short trip. For longer stay you don't feel it's worth!!

I'm in quarantine here for two weeks. The room is clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, it is not yet a renovated room. The food is very good and the staff is nice. I cannot say anything about the amenities of the hotel as I am not allowed to leave the quarantine area because of the strict hygiene rules.

First time staying here for 6days, spacious room and giant bed. But we found the King bed is actually 2 single beds combined, with padding cover layer..😓 And Amara hotel R top floor pool & seats are always crowded around small infinity pool, we couldn’t swim.. kinda disappointed 😭

There is no respect for the guest. If you had informed me in advance that there was an inspection for electricity, I wouldn't have ruined my travel schedule I had to spend time outside because I couldn't use the elevator, and I was angry because the schedule changed. There was also a mistake in the reservation. But I persevered. But later, the color of the bathtub water was yellow, so I eventually changed the room. I've been waiting for almost 1 hour. But it was the same result. So I couldn't use the bathtub. I would never recommend this hotel to an friend or family. It was the worst experience.

Either there was problem with air quality in the room, or there was problem with air condition, but there was dust in the air, that we could feel, made our stay uncomfortable. Rooftop pool is closing very early (8:00 pm), as it is one of its biggest attractions, I would say is not good.

Nice hotel in a quieter part of town. Great rooftop pool, but small area for the size of the hotel so it gets a bit over crowded later in the day. Nice gym with some cardio equipment and weights, with an amazing view. Rooms are nice, and staff could not be nicer! We we were here for new years and booked the hotel thinking we would have access to the rooftop for firework watching, and were a little upset that we were told it would not be available after our arrival.

Great place to stay. Staff was amazing as well. They have an infinity pool with a super nice view. The restaurant is a bit average. I would recommended to go out and eat instead. Lots of food option around the area.

Nice hotel near the Silom district. Efficient service. We need an early check-in and they were happy to accommodate. The area is OK, however there are better areas for those visiting Bangkok as a tourist. The highlight is definitely in the rooftop pool which gives an excellent view of the city.

We had an incredible stay at Amara Bangkok! How to visit Bangkok without staying in a skyscraper hotel with an incredible view on the magnificent skyline of the city? Well, at Amara the view is absolutely amazing, whether from the rooms, from the rooftop pool or from the gym, day and night! We recommend the Club 10 room for an unforgettable experience - we had never seen such an impressive view from our bed or bathtub! On top of all that, the hotel is perfectly located, the staff is adorable and caring, and the breakfast is delicious! We spent 3 days here and it was clearly not enough. As frequent travelers, we are used to visiting many hotels around the world, and we can assure you that if you plan to spend some days in Bangkok, you can't miss Amara!

I've been there this year Feb, the location is perfect. The room had an incredible view. The pool at the last floor is absolutely incredible!

The pool is the jewel of the hotel. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The room was nice, clean and modern. The staff were helpful and breakfast was delicious. Great variety of food, and they had dairy-free milk (this might seem a bit basic by European standards but in Thailand, I didn't find it in every buffet). The location is great, it's quite convenient to get tube, sky train and close to the gay area if you fancy some fun at night.

The stay was not good at all and shall not stay at that hotel every again. , The bar fridge was replaced 3 times and never got cold at all, no one phoned or came to see if it was working , had NO hot water for the first 2 days and then after that only warm water. Breakfast warm selection didn't cater for western tastes every day and bacon was only on offer once a week, same with baked beans and or hash browns and the made to order ommelets were often undercooked. Very little tour information was available from the concierge and we got pointed to a website to book excursions, which required going to a tour desk in another hotel to finalise booking.

Disappointed! Booked a Club 10 room which included "Club 10 room benefits include free daily laundry, welcome drink at AkaAza and complimentary access to Club Lounge with complimentary breakfast, morning and afternoon tea breaks, and evening cocktails." taken from Website 23/11/2021 However, on Checking in, I asked if we could use the lounge as we had checked in a little early 13:00. Was then told the lounge is closed. ( SHA+ Covid ) After I asked why I had not been told this at the time of booking /confirmation. Staff said I booked through Booking.com and not our fault. It's on our website. However, when I found the website on my phone, and politely asked the staff to show me. they could not. Instead, they offered me a discount ...600b and we could have the upgraded room + a tea set at 3 pm in the room. We had travelled a long way so said ok . Then the staff mentioned that the pool/bar area may be busy tonight so they suggested We book a table. Ok, thank you. However, when we went up to the pool area there was no staff there. In fact, the pool area was not even "open " ....no sunbeds, no cushions . 13:30 in the afternoon? When someone came, to set up. 14:30.....they then told us ALL the tables had been booked and if we came at 20:00 we MIGHT get a seat/table! Hotel guests cant book a table at 14:00 for that evening,? When we did go up to the pool area /bar at the suggested time 20:00 it was half empty! Breakfast was NOT the buffet selection ....again no mention of this at check-in, and in "small print on the website, if you look for it " Restaurants with buffet offerings have switched to a la carte menus and made-to-order options." taken from their website about SHA+ 23/11/2021 As we were NOT SHA+ guests did not see or read on booking .....only when I went looking for it So from an "exclusive room with executive lounge access with free food and drinks, with free-flow cocktails in the evening, to watching the sunset and evening drinks by the pool bar followed by an upgraded breakfast in the lounge the following day" Ended up being an "exclusive room , with pay for your own food, pay for own drinks, no table in the pool bar till 20:00 ( fully booked by outside customers) and a standard breakfast " Other things not mentioned, But that IS on the website as normal 23/11/2021 Coffee shop: closed Lobby Bar: Closed Minibar shop: Not closed, but nothing in it (wines. beers, etc ) just some pringles I can understand due to the Covid situation that SOME things would be paired back, however, this should have been CLEARLY stated on the website or at least in the confirmation message/emails ........ I got 5 emails/messages from the hotel via booking.com to remind me of my booking. I am sure we would have had a lovely time at this hotel, that's why we chose it. ( room lovely, views, staff friendly and courteous in Element Restaurant ) IF we had gotten the package we had BOOKED in good faith. instead, we were left disappointed and bemused Hardly the best night stay in a 4* hotel

Super Hôtel! We stayed in our last day in Thailand. Great way to finish this beautiful trip. Really nice view, day and night from the rooftop bar. People are really respectful, and rapidly gave us fast solutions. It is well located, close to public transportation, and even walking distance to several touristic points. The room are just as they are presented in booking. All clean, practical and all essentials included, also well spaced room. For the breakfast we had variety of options, delicious. Only small negative point was the need to use a credit card absolutely having the same name as the booking reservation, which is not always the case…

This is a nice hotel. Espacially the rooftop bar and pool convinced us. The rooms are very cozy, clean and well equiped. The location is good but not amazing. When we arrived we got changed in the lobby restroom. Sadly there where a couple of cockroaches in the restroom.

I highly recommend staying at Amara Bangkok. The check in process was quick and smooth, the entire staff was extremely friendly! Every single time we passed through the lobby, they greeted us with a smile. The front desk was able to assist me with getting a taxi to whatever destination, which was very helpful. The pictures posted on their website is exactly how it looks when you arrive to the hotel. I'll definitely be staying with Amara whenever I'm in Bangkok!!

A lot of touristy places are accessible around the area because its in the middle of bangkok. The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooftop bar offers great views of the city and delicious drinks too. Would recommend a morning dip in the pool! its so nice and cold esp for those hotter days before you go explore the city.

Amazing hotel. The pool and rooftop bar is incredible, such brilliant views of Bangkok and a real highlight of the trip, especially at sunset. Well worth staying for the pool and bar alone! The rest of the hotel is great also - comfy and spacious room, fantastic water pressure in the shower and friendly staff. Didn't try breakfast but the food from the restaurant was good also!

Fantastic. Lovely clean and comfortable beds. The pool is very special. Small pool but on the roof and with a cocktail bar that has happy hour in the afternoon till 4pm. Great for views over the city and a cool dip. Breakfast was quality. A lot of choices. All the staff were attentive and quick. My absolute favourite was the lady who cooks the eggs at breakfast, immediately for you. Lovely poached eggs. Thank you!

So far so good! I just checked in and was greeted by the nicest receptionists, Cream and Sandy. Room is nice and spacious, with glorious views from floor 19. Room could use some finishing touches here and there, such as electrical sockets not being mounted completely, etc. But I'll manage - there are bigger problems in life.

We spent 5 days in this wonderful hotel in Bangkok. It totally overreached our expectations. It’s a lovely hotel, with big rooms that are very clean. The breakfast is delicious and you have a lot of different options to choose from. We couldn't enjoy our last day breakfast because our flight was leaving really early, but their prepared a lunch box to take away (maybe the quality of the sandwich in the box is the only that we think they could improve a little bit) All the staff is really kind, they have helped a lot during our stay here. There is an amazing infinity pool and a bar in the rooftop, where you can enjoy a drink and relax after the hustle and the bustle of Bangkok. It was great to refresh ourselves during these days that have been really hot. I think this was our best moment of the day. This is a 4-star hotel but can perfectly be a 5-star one. If we travel again to Bangkok, we’ll visit Amara again for sure.

I stayed at the Amara Bangkok and I can say this with certainty; I will definitely stay here again. My stay here was spectacular and it was for the staff who work here that are top The staff handled my early morning check in with great care and escorted me to my club room in the 24th floor upon my arrival which I appreciate after sitting on a plane for 16 hours. My club room had a stunning view of the city. The view was beautiful both in daytime and at night. I would encourage you to book a club room as this will allow you to have access to the club lounge. At the club lounge, you can go there for early breakfast and afternoon drinks and canpes. Also, you have access to the mini bar in your room and free laundry service for two items per day. If you value convenience, then choose a club room. Plus, the staff at the club room are very friendly and attentive. The Infiniti pool on the roof boast a spectacular view of the city skyline. Granted, the Amara is not the tallest building in the Silom area, it does make Snapchat, instagram, Facebook memories. The concierge at the Amara is a breath of fresh air as they can provide you options for activities to do when you cannot make a decision. They coordinated a Thai cooking class for me and my friend and it was exactly the activity we needed on a stormy day in Bangkok. Lastly, I read a lot of reviews on other hotels about hotel staff and shady cab drivers. That was not the case here. They called a cab for you and the cab driver took you to your location. Thank you Amara Bangkok for making my trip to Thailand be memorable.

One star because on the last day we had a cockroach in our room! This should not happen in 4 star hotel. Rooms also need renovation, walls are dirty and there are scratches on them. Breakfast are rather poor, many asian options, very little vegetables. Rooftop was nice.

Amara is a great hotel in the centre of Bangkok with great options for commuting around the city. The rooms are spacious and clean, with great air conditioning (something you'll love if it's your first time in Thailand!). Roof top bar provides great views over the city and offers plenty of food and drink options

Room is clean and tidy, The toilet is window wall. if walk from BTS station around 10 mins. The buffet breakfast tastes good. The infinity pool is at the top of the hotel and even the pool is small, the view is rather good. It is better to go to the pool in evening or early morning, it is crowded.

During this short five-day trip, I am very grateful to the service staff (Bowpimpaka) at the hotel counter! Her passion made me feel very warm and wonderful during these five days! This is why I stayed at the hotel for the fourth time! Lobby always hot temperature! It is recommended to lower the air-conditioning temperature in the lobby. After all, Bangkok is a very hot place and mosquitoes are less likely to be found! But the overall experience value is still very beautiful and unforgettable!

staying during ASQ at this hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Room is OK but most of the time the water not really hot. TV program is not good so bring your notebook and access Netflix etc. Food is so la la. Portion small. It appears they really are on a budget.

Loved the rooftop pool (tiles along the edges could do with a scrub though), rooms were nice and clean but the highlight was the comfort of the bed! Angeled room is very nice. We stay in the hotel for the 3rd time. Disappointed with cappuccino- it was awful. And we are just married, wrote about it beforehand, they didn’t pay any attention to it. Well, it’s not Sheraton at last to prepare rose petals on the bed haha. All in all, the hotel is worth its money. I like it. You will enjoy your stay but remember - don’t order cappuccino!😀

We absolutely love the Amara Bangkok and we can't wait to stay with you again once all Covid-19 requirements in Thailand are finally lifted. We usually stay in a club room, which gives us access to a more intimate dining space that offers, soft drink refreshments throughout the day, breakfast, alcoholic beverages during cocktail hour in the evening and evening snacks. We're not sure if they are still there, but MONK always provides the best service (comparable yo that of even a 7 star hotel) within the club longe and although we only visited a couple of times a year they always rember us and make us feel at home. The rooftop pool offeres great drinks and the views are stunning... even better at night.

Our stay was really amazing. The staff at this hotel was the difference to us. Very friendly & smiley everytime you come home. Joe & Reggae on concierge we’re super professional & courteous. Our housekeeper Bim really made us feel at home everyday by engaging with us & asking us how our day went. My partner & I got a tooth extraction & Bim asked us the following day how we were feeling. This to me is so personal & really makes me want to come back here. The rooftop pool was also quite beautiful, even on cloudy days the view of the city is spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort in the city in a luxury hotel.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff. If you need something scanned or copied or printed (as long as it isn't a password protected PDF) The staff will be willing to make a few copies at the front desk for you. The rooms are large and clean with adequate room service. The only thing lacking is the small roof top pool. There is also a bar on the roof, but the drinks can be a bit pricy for what you are getting. The view from the roof is nothing super special.

Spent 4 nights at Amara Bangkok and boooooy was that a good hotel choice. The rooftop pool and bar is the highlight of the hotel, the view from the rooftop is amazing and the sunset will forever be engraved in my memory, it was majestic!!! The staff is very kind and they go beyond their call of duty to make the stay flawless. Just about a block or two from the hotel, there is plenty of pubs, spas and restaurants to choose from (The Irish Pub, just across Burger King, was my favorite). The hotel is very clean, didn't have any problems at all. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Another bonus is that you will not hear the sound of traffic or the BTS, you can see lots of traffic and the BTS from multiple places within the hotel, but you will not be disturbed by any noise or sounds. I would undoubtedly return to Amara Bangkok.

Fantastic infinity pool with amazing view. Reception people always very helpful and nice. We choose this place because of pool and it was worth it. It isn't the cheapest place, but if you want some nice pictures you need to pay:) Important is that the pool is not very crowded.

Everything was very nice here. Clean and modern. Right in the middle of Bangkok. This is an in-between hotel. The most expensive budget hotel or cheapest luxury hotel. Everything was really nice but can't quite give it 5 stars. At this price, maybe included breakfast would've made it 5 stars.
