I had an absolutely delightful stay at the Mandarin Hotel managed by Centre Point in Bangkok, Thailand! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. Easy check in process. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Washrooms include a full service bidet (most of the other places where we stayed in Thailand only offer a bum gun garden hose). The hotel's amenities were top-notch, from the inviting swimming pool to the well-equipped fitness room. The morning breakfast buffet was well laid out with great food. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, always ready to assist with a friendly attitude. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly remarkable. One exception to the staff was one of the valets who kept trying to force us to take up his offer to drive us to various tourist destinations. He offered us his โ€œspecial rateโ€, but we already did our research and knew not to fall for the scam. The Mandarin Hotel managed by Centre Point is conveniently located near major attractions and transportation hubs, making it the perfect base for exploring Bangkok. I can't say enough about the fantastic experience I had here. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in the heart of Bangkok. I can't wait to return!

Very nice hotel in Bangkok and at a reasonable price. Has a nice swimming pool but alas strangely! This hotel does not even have a bar considering the size of the hotel. My room was very clean, neat and tidy. I would recommend a stay at this hotel for a few nights if you are visiting Bangkok. Thailand.

This property is certainly very well managed. It appears that there was a reasonably recent renovation in the guest rooms and they're small but very comfortable and nicely finished. There is a half size fridge and microwave in the room as well as complimentary cans of Coke, Coke Zero, 4 bottles of water and 2 cups of Mama noodles each day. Bathrooms are quite adequate, with Japanese style toilets, although the control panel is placed behind your shoulder position while seated. Breakfast is outstanding with every hot dish (more than 10 per day) changed each day for great variety. We didn't see the same dish over the three days that we stayed. Be mindful about traffic on Rama 4 Road at certain times of the day as it may affect your travelling times. Would certainly stay again.

Great location and value for your money. (10 minutes walk to subway)Classy hotel that has seen its glorious days. Over due for an update but still good enough for my expectations. The breakfast is good value and has a good variety of food and coffee. Staffs are friendly and very helpful ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Good location. Clean and comfortable hotel and room, nice and helpful hotel staffs. Rooms don't keep sound, some hotel guests talked loudly at a hallway and finished talking late at night or some screamed loudly, (around 11 pm - 12.30 am) can't sleep. If the guests don't mind about loud noise from neighbours, I would recommend this hotel. For those who are concerned about it, I wouldn't recommend to stay here.

For sure a 4 star Hotel. Had everything you could ask for. Didn't try any of the food here as the local food and being so close to the university I found so many great places to eat. But the accommodation itself was super clean very accommodating and very great standards as expected by the Mandarin brand.... The gym downstairs was small, but had most of what you would really need. Bare in mind if you are a big weights lifter "you won't find everything you need" the pool is gorgeous and the entire place is immaculate and very clean... Staff were friendly on check in and check out. My favourite part of the room was the black out blinds, air conditioning and the BEDS were absolutely phenomenal probably the best hotel bed I have ever slept on managed to sleep till 10am one day as I didn't want to get up ๐Ÿ˜€ Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We selected The Mandarin Hotel Managed by Centre Point, as it was very well situated. I have to mention that I stayed in this hotel the first time I visited Bangkok in 2014 (9 years ago), and my memories were as good as to try again, this time with my wife. It has been such a nice surprise that the hotel keeps an excellent quality of level, with great service, excellent facilities, and the kindness of the personnel. Definitely, we will see you again and I hope sooner than expected

Our trip to Bangkok was to celebrate my wife's birthday. Checking in was very simple, easy and straightforward. Despite arriving at the hotel at 2ish midnight, we were greeted warmly at the reception. The check-in process was completed in minutes. On my wife's birthday, we returned to the room exhausted from a day's sightseeing and was extremely pleasantly surprised that the hotel sent their wishes. The words "Happy Birthday" were nicely arranged with rose petals and balloons were also added. To further this nice gesture, the hotel included a yummy nice slice of chocolate cake in the fridge. This was a total surprise and a very thoughtful gesture! Location wise, the hotel is within walking distance to mrt. A big mall is right opposite the hotel. Heading to Siam Centre is simple and quick. Highly recommend this hotel. We will not hesitate to choose this wonderful hotel on our next visit!

Third time staying at Mandarin Hotel in a year -- would stay at Mandarin again. - Hotel provides 2 masks and alcohol spray in room. Room is sealed for 24 hours. - Very convenient location. - Let's Relax spa available in the hotel, one of the best branches I've tried. - Love the high tech bathroom. Minor complaints (addressed in reply): - Food delivery people cannot deliver in front of the lift lobby. I have to go out of the hotel to pick up food. Understandably, due to COVID precaution. - When I leave the room and shut the door quickly, the "room sealed for 24 hours" leaflet hanging outside on the door knob is blocking the door locks. I came back to the hotel room after spa seeing that my room is completely unlocked.

Very clean and modern, conveniently located near train station and excellent water pressure is always the most important. So overall no faults. Best breakfast and coffee we had from all the accommodation we had on our trip. On a more preference level - only wish knew beforehand that the hotel nor the closest restaurants don't serve alcohol. And also requested that the hotel concierge arrange a meter-taxi for us because we didn't want to be overcharged for a very very short trip. The taxi arranged did not have a meter and did overcharge us by all standards. Bottom-line, we didn't rely on the concierge again.

Nice hotel with comfy rooms and good breakfast. However, be aware of the concierge! When I asked the concierge if he had a day pass for the public transportation he said "yes, that's 2000 baht". Having used the public transport before I knew tickets are between 18-30 baht, so 2000 baht seemed a little excessive. When I told him I would find something else he suddenly offered it for 1500 baht. Since this is obviously a scam/ripoff I went to the metro ticket office to ask for a day pass, but there I was informed these day passes don't exist in Bangkok. Whatever the concierge is doing there, it's definitely not right. He also tries to get you in taxis to tourist places for unfair prices, so I'd recommend to avoid this "hotel service". Definitely not what you'd expect at a hotel like this.

I recently enjoyed a delightful 3-day stay at Mandarin Hotel Bangkok, managed by Centre Point, and I must say it was an overall fantastic experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The cleaning standards were top-notch, and the reception team was consistently friendly and helpful. One standout feature was the decent fitness facility. While it provided a good space for a workout, there's room for improvement, particularly in the quality of the gym equipment. A refresh would enhance the overall fitness experience. I recommend considering the addition of a pull-up bar, a couple of parallel bars, and a few more tools. These additions would not only provide a more comprehensive workout experience but also offer a great return on investment for guests seeking a well-rounded fitness facility. In summary, Mandarin Hotel Bangkok, managed by Centre Point, exceeded expectations in service, cleaning, and reception. With a few enhancements in the fitness facility, it would undoubtedly become my go-to choice for future stays in Bangkok. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We had a really lovely stay here and can't fault our experience. Breakfast is really good, so much choice. The hotel is super clean and the staff are helpful. The location is really good, close to the metro and easy to get to the main attractions of the city

Headed to the Bamboo Bar at Mandarin Oriental. Have to say the minute you enter the lobby is simply stunning! The bar was one of the best looking bars too. The jazz singer who was performing was so soothing. Staff were very attentive. Fabulous evening.

It's my first time staying with Mandarin Hotel and we felt welcome as the staff always greeting us with smile daily. The greeting is genuine, not done because they have to as part of their duty. Rooms are well kept and clean promptly. The hotel location is also excellent with MRT and buses that links you to all places in Bangkok. Thank you for the excellent experience with you.

One of the better hotels I have stayed at. Very clean and very professionally run. Didnโ€™t have any food here so unable to comment on that. To avoid an unnecessarily high taxi cost back to the airport do not get a taxi from the lobby - or at least make sure the driver isnโ€™t going to rip you off!

Awesome service. Customer service is one of the best Iโ€™ve ever had. This hotel has everything from great breakfast, to dinner selection and room service anytime of the day. Spa was extraordinary, with great prices. Pool was relaxing, and had refreshing flavored water to enjoy as relax outside or in the lobby area. They had shuttles taking you to certain parts of Bangkok or will call a taxi for you. We will definitely be back.

The front desk staff was polite and efficient. They provided me with all the information I needed during my stay. The breakfast offered at the hotel was truly exceptional. The restaurant boasted an extensive array of choices, and the staff attending to the dining area were consistently courteous. The housekeeping team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and understanding throughout my stay. They executed their duties with precision and care.

  • 4/5 Jenny C. 5 months ago on Google
Overall it is excellent. You are very efficient to fix my room safe box issue when it doesn't work. The only thing I comment is the housekeeper skipped some steps when cleaning my room. The cup I used she just poured out the water, not cleaned, so my lipstick is still kept on the surface of my cup. It is not the first time when I stayed at 4 nights. Be aware of this minor step.

Hotel was located near a subway station. The BTS was about 10 min walk away. No shortage of food and shopping options nearby. We stayed in the basic room type and found it comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it wasnโ€™t bad at all. It certainly was worth the money we spent.

Great hotel friendly staff on the door. Facilities are good , beds are comfortable but what really stood out was the service when one of our party left his Passport in the safe and they drove it out to the airport so he didn't miss his flight for a reasonable fee. Very much appreciated! Would definitely stay again.

The price match the accommodation very well, had my wedding here. Even with covid going on the staff was very helpful considering how good the rooms given to us after our wedding night. Appreciate the good service with good staff manners.

hotel's location is very good the room is also good, but the atmosphere is a bit old. I smell something like the air is not fresh (not know it from room or air condition). One thing, the is a gap between the room's door and outside. So, I can hear sound from other rooms. The breakfast is quiet good in terms of variety and quality. Staff is very friendly and always smile. :)

I would recommend this place and stay again. The AC and hot water were plentiful and the rooms quiet and beds comfortable. The price was good and they were able to print boarding passes. The internet was a little slow. Very secure and safe plus the subway stop is nearby. Across the street is a nice mall with plenty of dining options. They has an electric bidet with seat warmer.

My stay at the Mandarin Hotel was very pleasant, the staff was incredibly kind, professional and always ready to assist you. The installation of the hotel are super clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great with many choices every day. Location was perfect, very close to the MRT Sam Yam station which was very convenient, the area was very safe and not crazy busy-loud. I will stay again here when I go back to visit Bangkok.

I enjoyed staying at your hotel for 3 nights. Employees were very kind and friendly. Swimming pool and gym were in good conditions but the pool water was too salty. I was so thankful for the shuttle bus services but it was inconvenient that there was no shuttle to the airport. I hope you would hire room service staffs who can speak English for a better service. But overall, my stay was great and happy with the location which was close to MRT and a huge mall. Thank you.

I love to stay in your hotel. Simple and not so luxury. The lift waiting not so long time compare with big hotel. Staff English is good. Breakfast is very good, simple and enough choice, exactly, i do not need many many choices for breakfast. Your hotel can meet my expectation and more than my expected, competitive price. I plan to stay again on coming Dec, see you all again.

The hotel is very good, the room is very clean and the staff are very friendly. TV programs and channels are not good at all and have nothing suitable for children. Internet is average and good. The breakfast is of good quality, but there was not enough cheese and yogurt. Shuttle and transfer to good places at different times. The bathroom also had a water dispenser and was very clean and healthy

Amazing experience at this hotel. Being a vegetarian it was difficult for us to find food options in Bangkok but this hotel had a good spread of vegetarian options for us in breakfast. The room service was good, the room was clean and nice. The view wasn't that impressive but the hotel was good. They did upgrade us and gave complimentary snacks but they were also non-vegetarian. The pool area was nice. The staff even agreed to keep our luggage for 2 days after we checked out. Really great experience! Definitely coming back again :)

It was a comfortable and convenient stay. Good location, near to mrt and shopping malls. Room is spacious and shower water pressure is very good as well. I like the hotel facilities with swimming pool, gym and the massage service just located inside the hotel. Really worth to stay again next time. Besides, I will rate 5 star if the breakfast can be improved and more delicious.

Overall experience of my stay in the hotel is good and comfortable and would be one of my choices of stay if I'm travelling to Thailand - Bangkok. There are a few pointers I would like to share which I think would improve the experience of the stay for future guests. (1) As the hotel room are marble flooring, therefore can consider providing better quality room slipper for guest (2) Can have a basket/bucket in the toilet for used towel or towel that require housekeeping to change (3) Might want to consider having built-in shampoo/body-foam dispenser, so housekeeping can just do a refill, as small bottle might not be enough for guest, and housekeeping might forget to give new ones, or might assume of used bottle are unused. (4) Guest that just perform check-in, can consider having a staff to ask whether guests need any water for hydration while waiting for check-in to be completed. (5) Might want to consider having joint/collaboration with local tour group. (6) As the hotel is in a good location, might want to consider to draw out a map/guide for the guest on all nice food/tourist attraction. (e.g. Michelin food guide) (7) The exterior wall of the hotel, especially at the swimming pool area, please do maintenance, as I personally see a piece of the wall fragment drop into the pool right in-front of me when I'm in the pool. (8) When the pool and gym are open for guests to use, during the opening hours, there should be staff located at the desk to remind guests to sign-in and check on the requirement of towel.

Nice hotel overall. The room really look like a business hotel. Air conditioning. Good mattress. TV. Nice shower room and Japanese style toilet. The shower is also kind of spacious. And hot shower!!! Service cleaning. 2 free complimentary bottle of water, 2 can of Coca Cola (normal and sugar free) and 2 cup noodle a day. The location of the hotel is also really nice. 2 big shopping malls and big supermarkets (one is doing 24h). Close to the metro station and bus stop. The only down part is the WiFi. Really unstable. Especially at night. Itโ€™s even impossible to check photos in Google Maps. Really annoying for planning your next day.

Overall a very nice stay at the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok. The first room we were given had a very strong cigarette smell and gave a feel of a low budget hotel. Fortunately the issue was resolved quickly and we were given a different room on a floor that was satisfactory. We slept really well and found wonderful service at the hotel. The staff is always pleasant and kind, willing to help with taxi or luggage. Overall, we will consider Mandarin on another visit to Thailand.

We booked a connecting room for 2 adults and 2 kids which was just a nice size for travelling family holiday. The king size bed was comfortable and 2 twin bed was good for the kids too. Bathrooms were clean and pleasantly surprised with the Japanese electrical bidet. No bath tub but we didnt have time to soak anyway. Busy with shopping. Breakfast spread was good with western and eastern. Gym is adequately well equipped. I love the salt water swimming pool. Not much of a view from pool but at least got some shades from adjoining condo buildings.

Staff was amazing, room and location was perfect and being close to SamYan station and 2 stations away from Chinatown, food and shopping are easily accessible! The spa (letโ€™s relax) attached to the hotel has good ambience but the masseuse skills were so-so. As I booked direct with the hotel, one of the perk was late check out (subject to availability) until 4pm, which was perfect for my night flight! Nothing to fault and I recommend to try out this hotel if you are reading this review for I will be back the next time I am in town ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Staff was very professional and always happy to help you with anything. Room was really nice and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect. Hotel lobby always smells like flowers and room service was always amazing. Breakfast service was okay but it was a shame there wasn't much of foods to choose from. Otherwise I highly recommend staying st this hotel.

I stayed at Mandarin with my boyfriend for 3 nights and the stay was wonderful. The hotel is very nice, rooms large, bright and clean. What about the bed? Itโ€™s huge and comfortable! The breakfast is varied and plentiful both salty and sweet (one of the best breakfasts we did in Thailand on those days). However, we would like to dwell on our judgment on the staff: professional, kind and caring towards guests. I tell an episode in particular... It was the first day of vacation in Thailand and after a day of sightseeing I forgot my phone in the taxi. I was desperate, not for the phone itself (I would have bought it back), but for photos, videos, personal documents and of travel contained inside. I would like to thank with all my heart Rang (Concierge), who despite not being forced to do so, took the matter to heart and started a real investigation to find it. We didnโ€™t think it was possible, since Bangkok is a metropolis, but Rang has found it. Thank you very much Rang!!! I would also like to thank his colleague receptionist, who contributed (unfortunately I donโ€™t know her name). We will remember Bangkok and Thailand not only for the beautiful temples and landscapes that it has, but also for the people of the place that we have known in 15 days and that have made our experience wonderful and unforgettable. Rang you are one of them. Thank you!!! Eleonora and Amleto
