The amenities are a lie, the restaurant is closed, the steam room is closed, the room stinks, the air conditioner doesn’t work and drips water inside right on the bed, the WiFi doesn’t work, all the business in the building are closed, the tuk tuk and taxi drivers won’t leave you alone and they’re right outside the entrance of the hotel.

A hotel where the cleaning staff is more courteous, smiling and welcoming than those at the reception. At the check-in a deposit of 1000bht per room is required which is not specified at the time of booking. The deposit receipt is to be presented at the check out to recover the entire sum, which is also not specified on arrival, as a lot of checkout and check-in is done at the same time. At the check out I had 3 person at the reception which was not very friendly including one who forgot that she was talking to customers and who was quite unpleasant. The rooms are not soundproof, we can hear all the noises of the corridor and rooms next door, as if we were in the same room. The positive point was the breakfast buffet where we had a wide choice, good to start the day.

It’s a bang for your bucks! We paid 1666 baht per night for 3 people including breakfast, which is pretty good. 1000 baht is the refundable deposit. There’s a swimming pool on the roof top. The location is a prime tourist area surrounded by scrumptious street food all over. Being located in the centre, getting anywhere is no hassle. Felt good vibes from this place. It’s bustling and you see a lot of Europeans roaming around here. Vicinity to the numerous massage parlours gives brownie points to the location as well. Recommended 👍🏼

Located very close to Khaosan party road but yet it’s extremely quiet. The rooms are clean with good AC cooling. Close to eateries and transportation. Swimming pool is refreshing.

This was my first night in Thailand and the location was perfection. Even better, the staff were exceptional. They were able to help me with my SIM card issues, and were so patient and kind. The room was basic, which was all I needed, but the rooftop pool was a beautiful bonus for a nighttime swim. Overall, I was VERY pleased with this selection and would HIGHLY recommend.

Lovely room, tasty foods, most of the staffs were helpful. However, I was encountered a front desk staff who didn’t willing to answer anything and so rude. If you like to experience poor soundproof room, noisy old style of the airconditioner, hearing the other rooms door open/ close, people walking in the corridor, people talking, the elevator beeping during open/close constantly, I recommend this place.

Only good thing about this hotel is the location it is in. But this is probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The room smelt disgusting upon arrival and every time we entered the room. There is no duvet just a small brown blanket between two white sheets so you can either be freezing at night, with the air con on, or boiling hot without it. The shower was terrible and there was no toilet paper. The room we had was nothing like the ones advertised. Also there are no elevators in the building so have fun bringing your heavy luggage to your room.

Tried eating here just once. The ambience is good, and it's situated in a relatively calm street (Rambutri Street). I personally felt the prices were on the higher side versus what you could get elsewhere, but I understand that every place has its feel and they price accordingly. Being a vegetarian, I didn't have many options available to eat, and I didn't like the salad I tried out. The garlic bread and mushroom soup were good, though. The place is good if you like a calm atmosphere.

Room was fine and even though the place is located in a loud area, there’s no noise from outside. BUT there were literally holes (for ventilation probably) in the wall and the door was thin as paper - so we could hear people breathe in the hallway and understand their conversations in the middle of the night. Location was good. 4/10 wouldn’t necessarily recommend.

Skip this place -- no refrigerator, & they wanted 450 more for elevator-accessible room. I had emailed but they don't bother with reading guest requests, & check-in was chaotic with no regard for who arrived first. One desk worker was not enough at peak time. Unpleasant & not worth the dangerous narrow stairs with no refrigerator or window view.

I like the place it was clean and nice. I really enjoyed do workout and roof swimming 🥽 pool. If U do active swim style recommendation be early bird like 8.00 the swimming cup be free. Surprised but in the room U don't have Aircon controller and to be honest it's quite fresh and cold. For this price = Quality good I think 💭 but reception stuff wasnt nice. U feel passive aggression so put 3 points for it.

I've been there twice and want to stay again. It has really great location, you can walk to various places of interest and in the evening there will be no problem with a cafe or places for relaxation or dancing. The hotel has pretty good rooms. Breakfasts are excellent with tasty and great selection. On the roof there is a beautiful pool.

Great location, You can walk to the main tourist streets. Breakfast offerings are decent. Heaps of taxi offerings just outside and staff were helpful with arranging a taxi to the airport upon departure. Rooms are what you expect for the price but no complaints. The bar downstairs is a great place to people watch and the food offerings are good. All round would recommend.

Girls a the reception absolutely not professional for everything . They couldn't find the booking from Agoda. Had to wait at list 30mn at 1AM for the check-in. The keys didn't work and had to go check it myself 4 times before sending the guys to repair it. And more.. Mosque near by, you will be awake by night, but no noise from the street. The "deluxe" room is absolutely not "deluxe" at all, what a joke

Very near to Khao san market. This place is meant for people who are there for weed. The rooms and entire area has that smell in the air. It has good vibes in the evening, but if you are a vegetarian avoid staying in this area as you would hardly find good vegetarian food. The staff behaviour was average.

I've always liked this hotel. The location on Rambuttri is great; set back a little off the road, with a wonderful koi pond. Easy walk to Khao San Road, to Chao Phraya river and the Phra Athit pier, grocery store, ATM, 7-11, etc. All the little bars and restaurants, street food, massages, and vendors along the road The restaurant is good with great fresh coconut smoothies! Service is friendly, reasonable luggage storage at 20B/day. The pool on the roof is in full sun with not even a shady spot to sit so not very appealing in the heat of the day. There's a beer vending machine by the pool, but unfortunately it's usually empty. Some (most?) of the buildings have an elevator and they supply in-room coffee, soap, shampoo. The biggest negative is the ridiculously uncomfortable bed! Like ROCK HARD. Otherwise a nice place and a good value.

Great location, room is good, nothing very fancy. Services such as luggage transfers and amenities can be better. The hotel is very big, takes a long time to reach one end from another.

Always stay here when in Bangkok. A few changes to the hotel and the general area since my last visit pre-covid. I had a really nice room which looked newly decorated. Reception has moved to the front restaurant now. Pool on rooftop with sunlounges and doesn't feel crowded. Good location on the quieter end of Rambuttri but short walk to Khao San and other end of Rambuttri with plentiful options for food, drinks, massages etc. Walkable (20mins?) From Sam Yot MRT and to Chao Phraya river boats

Nice, clean and comfortable. Staff are gracious and professional. Pools are excellent, and the views are cool. Ram Buttri is what Khao San Road used to be.

Nice clean room with air con and fridge. And the pool on the roof is perfect. You can relax and cool down after walking around all day.

Best value for your money. Clean room, good bed. Only thing I booked a superior room with a big bed, and the 2 person bed was pretty small. Excellent location near kao San rd but still quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended

Really lovely time there. We had to change the room after the first night because the AC wasn't working. But then it was a really good stay overall. The rooftop pool is amazing, so is the view from the rooftop. The staff is friendly and professional. They even have a storeroom for the customer luggage. For the next time we go to bangkok this hotel is our first choice :)

Hotel is close to shops and restaurants. The place only has 1 pool, not two. In addition, no laundry service is provided on site as advertised. The AC worked well especially, when it was 96 degrees out. Keep in mind that you have to give 500 baht for a deposit on arrival. Rooms were clean. Basic hotel

The location is great and the staff are the friendliest and very helpful and accommodating. They boast a wonderful restaurant and the breakfast is delicious. Rambuttri Road is as vibey as they come without being chaotic. Close proximity to Khao San Road... Literally a 5 minute walk and 7 Eleven is just one minute walk. Amazing and value for the price so don't expect a 5 star hotel. Awesome rooftop pool as well. Absolutely no complaints overall with our stay there.

Good value, nice pool, great location. Beds are hard, and there are lots of taxi drivers around pressing you to buy tours from them. They will quote you a price to the floating market, and when you ask how much is it when you get to the floating market, they just say there are multiple packages. When I got to the floating market, they tried to charge me 10,000B. It was a scam. You can get better deals if you enter the main entrance. My taxi driver dropped me off at a different entrance. So just beware or come with a lot of money.

Great hotel, very good price and location, next to the famous KhaoSan Road. The rooms are clean, the air conditioning is very strong even if it is at minimum. The breakfast buffet was closed, so we can't give our opinion, but the hotel restaurant is very top notch.

Good size room, icy cold air con. Nice size pool. A bit dated but clean. Would upgrade next time just to have the kettle and tea/coffee 😁 Location is perfect on Rambruttri Alley.

Good place to stay, single/ family/couples it is excellent choice for everyone visiting Bangkok. It is located in heart of khaosan road. It has all facilities next to it. Quit spacious and good infrastructure. Only cons is that its cafe was not working during my visit.

It is a 2 star hotel in the special tourist area of Bangkok. Great location close to the station and the river. But is is noisy and hot. 3ks from China town and 1 minute walk to Kaoshan Rd and the all night bars and massage shops. All family friendly. It also has really nice Spaghetti.

Excelent location. Great buffet breakfast. They offer a storage room where you can leave your luggage for $20baht per bag per day for up to 3 months. Good restaurant with reasonable price. Worth the money you pay. Outside the hotel is really good, but looks a different place inside. The rooms are old, noisy air conditioning. Internet do not work properly inside the room. Also, you can hear the mosque few times a day. You must leave a deposit of $1000 baht. People from tailor shop annoying, constantly approach you at the hotel entrance.

This place is well situated in Bangkok to many of the tourist destinations (temples, etc). It's on a relatively quiet walking street. The rooms are clean though very simple (I found the beds a little firm for my taste and the pillow rather large and firm). The toilet, shower, and sink are in one tiled room. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, and functioning. And there is air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a small lockable safe in the room. Housekeeping was friendly. There's a pool on the roof with reclining lounge chairs. Breakfast is included with lodging and is served buffet style 6-10am beside a beautiful koi pond. There is some attempts at western foods offered along with other dishes and fruit and tea/coffee. The food was adequate though nothing to write home about. Overall it was good for the price.

  • 4/5 chris S. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent location, basic rooms but clean. It's worth getting a room with breakfast included as the buffet breakfast is very good with lots of options. The pool is a nice bonus and it is clean with relatively few people swimming there throughout the week I was there for the size of the hotel.

  • 4/5 Alessandra B. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice for the price, the courtyard looks pretty, although the restaurant was closed when we stayed. The pool is also nice! Rooms are clean, AC is rather loud. Unfortunately you only get one bottle of water and no refills, since they want to sell bottles to you. All things together, I would stay again.

I've only eaten there twice, and probably won't again, as there are many choices in this area. I had a craving for a hamburger after a bout with Bangkok belly, brought on by a street food binge, I wanted something other than Thai food. I ordered the onion ring hamburger. It's a nice presentation, but we don't eat with our eyes alone. It's more properly a meatloaf burger. I think it's not 100% beef. Rather a mix of ground beef and bread crumbs with, possibly, egg as a binder, and not enough of a binder to hold the patty together. The onion rings were drizzled with sweet soy sauce and mayonnaise. The mayo was fine, but the soy did them no favor. The french fries (chips) were good, but they, and the onion rings could've used another minute or so in the hot oil to become golden brown and crispy delicious. The coconut juice I ordered to wash down the meal, and help replace electrolytes, had way too much sugar added to it for my taste, but everyone is different. You may like the sweetness. All in all a disappointing hamburger. The other meal I ate here was many year ago. I had Green lipped mussels, and the gastrointestinal distress I experienced may have been the result of drinking alcohol with them, (1 beer) a combination ill advised.

It is in Khaosan area but you can get get a peaceful quiet night sleep here. Bars and restaurant are walking distance. This hotel a rooftop which is a plus if you want some pool time. Though they're not deep enough if you are like 6 foot tall. I would definitely stay here again whenever am in Khaosan ☺️☺️

  • 4/5 Henna J. 1 year ago on Google
Everything is good. But the hotel must have double curtains. It's so uncomfortable because I can see clearly from the opposite window.

  • 3/5 Akash W. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are in good condition However didn’t get any proactive response form the staff. Restaurant was shut duty to Covid. If you’re planning to stay with family then this is going to be good option.

Great value hotel with a big rooftop pool area, big tidy rooms, green courtyard and nice views over the temple. Location is good and quiet compared to Khaosan road.

Great hotel for the money! We’ve booked premier room for 3 nights and paid 96 euro.(don’t be scabby and get it) Great location. I wouldn’t bother with the hotel restaurant as it’s slow and overpriced. You get the same type of food across from the food truck (it’s safe to eat from) and it will cost you 50 instead of 150 b

  • 4/5 Chris M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice location near Khaosan Road but much quieter which is a God send if you have ever entertained the idea of staying on that road! Rooftop pool is amazing after a day in the Bangkok heat and the room was clean and the air con worked very well. 24hour check in was really helpful. Bathroom is a wet room which struggled to drain sometimes. Pillows are chunky but this seems to be a theme in Thailand generally. Still some noise from the road at night but it's not too bad really.
