It's one of those "you get what you pay for" places. On the whole it was ok, but I wouldn't stay there again. The staff were great. The ground floor rooms are very dark. Lighting is ineffective. No light switches by the bed, you have to get out of bed and cross the room to turn the lights out. No bedside tables, no chair. I was on business, so had to spend many hours in the coffee shop (which is a nice, light and airy space) to work on my laptop, because it was not possible to do so in my room. Breakfast is not good, better to eat outside.

All guests becareful who make plan already to stay here. All guests dont let your things in your room when you want go outside. Because this hotel not trustable. My friend 5000 baht stole in this hotel. When he make complaint. Stupid owner try to make him wrong. This property is not safe. They are not honest with guests. They are scammer when guests go out from room they have master key they open the door in stole the money from guests bag

Staff is very nice. The room is amazing, it's the biggest bed I have ever had in my life. Very clean as well. Didn't have the chance to check out the pool and jacuzzi. I thought the location would be terrible based on reviews, but I took grabs to move around the city anyway, so not that bad after all. The only disappointment was breakfast, which wasn't really worth 250 baths. The coffee offered was instant coffee, and overall, it was just quite average. I am happy I didn't include it in my whole stay. But besides that, it's a great hotel to stay at!

A hidden sanctuary of calmness in hectic metropolis. Recommended for couple travelers of any ages, children might also stay, but is rather a place for grownups. A good 4 star hotel which is not a standard city box business travel. Atmosphere is laid back and lax. Loved the place, will definitely recommend. I managed to get a very reasonable rate and enjoyed my short stay. There is a long but narrow pool and the bed was super comfy. It's in a relatively central locale, just a shame I didn't have a bit more time to explore. Staff friendly and welcoming and it was also very quiet, which I appreciated as I had some work to do.

Very clean, security is very good and the staff were fantastic - especially Mansh, Lucky and William. I didn't use the pool, gym, etc. but I was free to relax with a beer on the rooftop. I asked for an iron and one was delivered to my room retrieved from house keeping very quickly. I couldn't have asked for a better 2 night stay in Bangkok during a tough time for everyone around the world.

I stayed here on 2018 with my parents to visit my mum's side of the family and this place is absolutely beautiful. We had a balcony that allowed us to look out onto the gorgeous outdoor pool and the greenery that you can experience for yourself once you step outside downstairs. The rooms were extremely spacious and allowed my parents and I and 4 of my relatives to sleep with no hassle. The place is very very clean, the beds are soft and the cooking facilities worked wonders. The living room area was comfortable and attached to the kitchen. The bathrooms were lovely and came supplied with some shampoo, conditioner and towels! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. All in all, I would 100% come here again in a heartbeat.

Lots of ants in my bedroom, terrible Wi-Fi which you need to request every month again at the reception, staff is trying to milk you from your money with everything you do. I asked for some bags for the trash, and they didn't want to give me but said i need to buy it, eventhough they have a lot of those bags. It might be good for short term stay but for long term stay definetely not recommended. I decided to choose a new hotel for my last weeks in Bangkok. The location is also terrible, not close to a BTS station or whatsoever, so you have to walk or take a taxi every time you want to go out. It seems cheap but at the end they charge you another 6000 baht for used electricity and water. 1 star is more than enough.

Amazing hotel and staff as-well ! From the beginning to the end of my stay i was welcomed and treated nicely and the amnesties were very nice. You can find a pool a jacuzzi on both side of the rooftop as well as gym and a beautiful view up there! Make sure to catch a sunrise its amazing one side of the roof also has a restaurant and the other side has lots of sitting chairs and tables. That location is very good because it’s nearby a mall and lots of local food stops and 7/11 so you have an easy access to all of that. The room has a mini fridge, tv, a good AC, lots of lighting options, a small balcony, water boiler, a counter with drawers etc. There is also an elevator for those asking ! Anyways i recommend anyone in bangkok trying this place out, I’ll be back for sure!

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Amenities provided were useful as well. Includes 2 free bottles pf water daily. Worth it for the price paid. Service crew was professional and helpful. Location wise, it is great if you are looking for a place that is in the heart of bangkok, while the surroundings are quiter.

Stayed twice. 4.5 stars. Hotel has a common kitchen that guests can use. They also have a small gym, a work room, a pool and a nice roof top deck. The area it is in is a bit off the main road. Lots of good inexpensive eating establishments within minutes walk away. During my stay in a basement studio (B04) check in was painless and gal showed me to my room. Room is quite large. I like the sink not being in the same room as the toilet and shower. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. Everything was clean. King sized bed is not rock hard as most hotels in Thailand are. Walls are a bit thin and you can hear other guests but I did not hear any road noise. My room did have a couple of mosquitoes. During my stay in an eco studio (B43) check in was again smooth. Room is a bit smaller than the basement studio but has a small balcony. The sink is in the bathroom but the bathroom is still decent sized. Shower worked well also. Twin beds are firm but soft. Almost perfect for me. This room road noise could be heard but it is not too bad. Again outside noise from other guest and cleaners could be heard. Also my room Wi-Fi stopped working.

I don’t know about your expectations, but my partner and I have stayed at different hotels in various countries over the years. Yet, the I-Sanook is the only one that has fully met our needs at reasonable prices. It has helpful staff as well as an outstanding non-local manager who would sincerely take your feedback into account for necessary improvements. Therefore, it’s been the only hotel that we’ve ever preferred again and that we'd recommend to others.

I booked this place because it had so many great reviews. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience here. The lighting in my room was horrible, felt like I was in a dimly lit cave even with the lights on. Also, the building is not luggage friendly. There are no ramps at the entrance and lots of random steps everywhere to carry your luggage over. The wifi was horrible and made it extremely hard for me to work. I work US hours so I work late at night. I ended up leaving after the first night and booking a new hotel. I did appreciate them listening to my concerns and approving the refund on my reservation.

Lots of big cockroaches and bugs in room. If you get up at night, best not to turn on lights and look at floor if you are scared or cockroaches. Also one employees who came to my room at 1AM due to the AC not working was shockingly rude. He blamed the issue on me saying HE thinks it is not hot. The AC clearly had an issue, it was NOT 18 Degrees, we were sweating. 18 degrees should be freezing. Anyways, I ended up fixing the AC myself. The cockroach problem really upsetting my stay. Feels like I am staying in a dump.

This is a real gem in a charming local neighborhood near Rama IV Road and Silom district. The walking time is 5 minutes to Rama IV Road and the busy bus stop. 10 minutes to Samyan MRT and also Samyan Mitrtown shopping mall which has every convenience you could need. About 7-8 minutes and cross Rama IV to get to Chula and many various international eateries. Many local food options within 2-3 minutes walk and the in-house cafe also has all the Thai food basics and a couple of Western food dishes and is very cheap and good. This hotel has many nice amenities such as a TV lounge, gym, swimming pool, a comfortable lobby, spacious rooftop, kitchen, dining room and cafe. There are several different room types and the rooms do not lack anything necessary for your basic comfort and convenience. It is quiet, dark, and cool enough for sleeping. The staff are very friendly, competent, and happy to help with your questions or reasonable issues. Basically, all around, it is not on the level a 5-star luxury property, but for all-around value I think it is the best deal I have ever found anywhere in Bangkok.

I stayed four nights in this hotel. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always have solution. We booked the tour from this hotel. Ms Happy helped us a lot. We are very happy to have tour at Floatinf Market dan teain market. Ms Happy also helped us book the uber taxi. The staff at breakfast room is also so friendly. I like having breakfast at outdoor. It has a great view. The room is big and clean. The cleaning service always cleans the room daily. I will booked this hotel again when I am in Bangkok

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at iSanook. We had originally booked a two night stay and extended another two when we saw how clean, comfortable and quiet the room was.

Spent 4 nights in a Studio Room on an upper level floor and it was great. The room was medium size, but I wasn't spending much time in there. Though I wanted the bed to be a little softer. There is a desk and chair by the windows. I didn't want my room cleaned so I can't comment on housekeeping service. However, the room was very clean when I checked in. What I love most is the excellent, very helpful front desk staff. Seriously top notch. The location is not that close to a BTS or MRT station, so that may deter some from this hotel. It is in an alley but I felt safe walking around at night, even navigating other alleys by it. So many alleys in Bangkok. I ate the breakfast buffet one time and it was fine, wasn't a great value. The coffee drinks and snacks in the attached cafe were good. There are cheap eats nearby.

The rooms felt clean and that's important to me. This is your budget hotel in the middle of downtown and close to a lot of things within walking distance. I checked out Sam Yan and that food court is amazing. Check it out while you're there. Subway is also nearby for you to go many places

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next year. Location is off the main road and quiet. The pool is great and the laundry was useful.

Friendly staff with excellent services. Room was clean but the aircond wasn't cold enough. Bathroom frosted glasses were actually direct from the sunlight, it was quite hot and heaty during showering. It's a idea location which is quiet near to travel to the famous spot, but it's also hidden inside a narrow alley. Take grab instead of walking especially at night.

Good hotel located in the center of Bangkok you can reach all the most visited spot by walk from his hotel. The breakfast is very nice and the terrace on the roof top offers a very good view on the city

We stayed at ISanook for one week. We had an appart'hotel with an extra bed for our daughter and apparently there was bed bugs in the extra bed as our daughter get stitches all over her back. The staff changed the bed and then the problem was solved, still no gesture was made. The kitchen is poorly equipped. The stay overall was good and the staff friendly.

Decent place. Very large and spacious. All furnishings are very dated, could use a renovation or some freshening up. Pool is not as nice is it looks on photos.

Good place with comfy atmosphere and friendly stuff 👍 They have a very small gym, very little machines in it, but you can do running or cycling there For some people it might be far from public transport, but in fact the hotel isn’t that far from the center. It’s located behind the main road, so it makes the hotel a quite place, but to get to the main road you need to walk through small streets with local houses - for me it was ok, maybe some people don’t like it I would like it even more if it costs less))

I booked a room for 3 People with four beds through agoda which was 35% more expensive than a room with a double bed. Upon arrival they said i booked a room with only one double bed and said i had to pay 60% extra for three beds.. also, they were very unfriendly putting all the blame on me and rejecting any solutions i proposed. only after showing print screens of their own listing on agoda they gave a very bad, hard extra bed.

Friendly staff, decent location, pool was nice although it smelled bad near the lounge chairs. Gym was ok but older, equipment a little run down, not a lot of options and a small space. Elevators worked, stairs were big, communal areas clean. The kitchen was very bare. The eco-studio was about $40 a night, working air con but the remote failed (not batteries). Shower was a stall, great water pressure and very hot. Room fridge was a decent size but they only bring you two tiny bottle a day. You need to buy water elsewhere but there is a mini market across the street and also an ATM. Bed was nice but my pillow was a lumpy rock. Plenty of storage space and a desk. Only big complaint was very poor internet which was basically unfunctional. I mentioned it to management and the first time they sent techs to reset the router, hidden in the ceiling. After it failed again they did nothing. Some restaurants around the corner sell westernized Thai food. 7-11 nearby. Good proximity to malls and other attractions either by walking or public transit. I’d stay there again but not if I needed to work remotely.

Good location, Lumphini park and Siam malls are in walking distance. Room was ok, would be great if they had a mirror though. The pool is too cold, so that's not a place to swim, just to chill out around. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel & people. The waiter / bartender at the restaurant / breakfast was very friendly and funny, aktually spoke some german with us, really nice guy. Room was beautiful, everything clean, AC & fridge etc. working without problems. Also really quiet despite being close to a big road with a big shopping mall and public transport a 15 minute walk away. Also many streetfood vendors and small stores nearby. Nice rooftop area with whirlpool.

Wat e great and clean hotel! Friendly staff and real affordable prices! The rooms are big enough en the bed is big.good pillows and the matras is really comfortable. It has a swimming pool, sun deck, gym, tv room, kitchen jacuzzi to use for all The location is good and located near china town mbk shopping centre and lumpini park. Only 10-15 min walk to a big shopping centre (samyan mirtown) with a lot of food options We wil come back when we are in Bangkok again for sure !

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at iSanook. We were welcomed with great customer service from the staff, and helped us with all our questions. The room was great, and always cleaned and replenished by the time we were back from the day of touring. The pool was also a nice addition to finish off the day or start it off. I would definitely rebook again.

I actually had a nice and relaxing stay. But what really bothered me is that I should pay 100 TBH per days if I leave my suitcase there for storage. I was going to Krabi for a few days and would have come back to iSannok. Very sad that they are so inflexible here. Sounds to me like rip off, which the iSannok actually has no need. Was my last stay in iSannok, because other hotels here are much more flexible. Nevertheless, thanks for the otherwise nice stay.

A very competently run small boutique hotel that does everything right. They treat guests with respect and have outstanding customer service. You won't be disappointed if you book here.

Friendly staff, good service, clean rooms. We have stayed more than 10 days. Everything was cool. But at our room was noisy from big aircon outdoor coolant.

  • 5/5 Thomas W. 2 years ago on Google
My experience was great here. I booked a room for 2 nights but had to show up 2 days early. The staff was pleasant and did everything to accommodate me. They were always professional and respectful. The facility was impeccable. I would see the staff literally scrubbing the walkway and public areas. I had a shirt delivered to the hotel and the tailor called the front desk and they transfer his call. This is the place to stay in Bangkok. Very reasonable price for all the amenities. The pool was very clean. I will always stay here while in Bangkok. They are second to none. You can stay short or long term.

The internet connection keeps crashing. Very far from the MRT station.. Not easy to find. Must take a taxi to go somewhere. However, clean and … yes it’s clean!
