Very kind people working there. On arrival, I got a delicious, homemade cool drink for free and I could store my backpack there before Check-In time. The price is unbeatable and the beds are very big and comfortable, and the best thing which I have never seen before elsewhere is that every single bunk bed has curtains around it and a separate lamp. Recommended!

RAT🐀 alert !!!!! You love rats ?? Then this is the perfect place for you. I had placed my luggages in the luggage room as advised by the person there. He asked if I have any eatables in the bag and there was nothing there and I said a no. He never alerted anything of the rats living in there. Then I came back in few hours to pick something from the luggage and it was fine until then. Coming back again after 5 hours approx, I saw the bag had been the dinner for the rats. It had bitten my 100$ (3000 baht) backpack. And a few shirts and other stuffs along. All of what the owner of the place was ready to tell is he is sorry. I am quite unsure on how they can have rats living in there and still ask the customers to use that toom after knowing this. Saving few cents I havr lost 100$. Downsides : - Do not imagine your rooms by looking at the pictures. The rooms are kinda very small and tightly packed. - There is no lift for a 4 storey building. Do not even think of going out nd coming back once. This will super exhaust your energy. - Toilets are way too small. - Only one charging point per bed of 2 persons. Doesn't make sense right. Get a spike guard. UPSIDES : - This hostel is located in a very good location. Easy access to the city by ferry and MTR. - The bed is quite comfortable and clean. Do not imagine the surrounding of the bed to be clean. - They have provided a compartment to store the luggages. But they do not provide the locks for this as they are supposed to. You have to carry your locks.

My experience at Glur was really disappointing especially seeing all the good reviews. Our room was dirty, cobwebs on the floor and found at least 3 spiders and loads of fire ants. Of course, some made their way to the bed even though we tried to get rid of as many as we could. It took us over 45 minutes to check in even with 4 staff members. There were 6 sets of couples there and even though we were the 2nd there, it took way too long. They forgot about us halfway through checking in. No AC after 10pm even though it is ~30C at that time. No fans provided so it is unrealistic. It became so stuffy in the room. On the upside, the AC is very cold and the beds comfortable. Would I return and recommend this place? No.

The rooms are not very large, but they are reasonably priced and the customer service is good. It was convenient and had good access to surrounding areas.

I had been stayed at this hostel. The cheapest hostel i have gotten in Bangkok. The location is very strategic. Near to Asiatique, Robinson, and many food trucks in front of this building. The staff are friendly. The room is clean and cozy. But no lift here so you might go upstairs to the floor 5 and it’s sucks.

This is definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed at. Greeted with a cold glass of juice upon arrival. Bed was fitted with clean, crisp white sheets and big duvet for sleeping through the night with cold Air Conditioning. Oversized bunk beds make for a more comfortable night sleep. Common area, WC, and shower were clean. Free drinking water, breakfast, and self serve laundry! Great value for the money! Almost forgot to mention the friendly front desk staff.

Simply hostel in very good location. There are many rooms but not enough toilet. We had to take off the shoes but still the common area was dirty because the floor was wet and some guest were wearing the shoes inside. Don't forget to ask for free towel. Breakfast is random Thai food in very small portion and poor quality coffee. And the staff are not professional.

I'm just rating the restaurant, I never stayed in the hostel but the food was fantastic! We stayed right across the river and to get anywhere we had* to cross to this side and on our first morning we were walking around trying to find some breakfast. We stumbled upon this place only to find some of the best tom yum we had on our entire trip! We ended up coming back towards the end of our trip. The smoothies were great and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

The hostel is very clean (including toilets and showers). My bed was extremely comfortable. There is a good market just in front of the hostel, so I ate the almost every day. If you crave fresh bakery, you'll find it in a supermarket in Robinson shopping centre. The only minus for me was the smell of moth balls :( Also consider using ear plugs, since there are places with live music on the neighbourhood.

I was in the shared dorm, the room might be a little cramp but the huge bed compensates for it! Well air conditioned and alternatively there’s fan available as well. Outside each room, there is also a small hanging area for your laundry. The free breakfast wasn’t too shabby either. But if you’re worried about food, just outside, there are many stalls available! If you are in need of internet access, their WiFi is easy to connect and runs fast as well! Their staffs were very helpful, and didn’t reject my need to print some documents or when I require a spare key. 👍🏻 The only downside was that the toilets are too cramp but overall it was a pleasant stay!

Pretty disgusting Hostel (see below for more details) 1. Unprofessional Service. 2. Uncomfortable and untidy facilities. 3. Poor quality of amenities. 1. The front desk staff showed a lack of service since our arrival at first day. They never gave us suitable alternative solutions for the complains which we had in our stay of 3 nights there. Also both, morning and afternoon staff showed an unrespectful attitude. For instance, never made us feel welcomed or concerned for help us. 2. Uncomfortable place and lack of safety measures in the common areas, as well as improvised rooms no according with the expectation for a Hostel room. Rubbish in common areas, dirty windows in the room, covered with cardboard and no nice view. Narrow spaces, we hit the head many times. Advise: Check the location before booking. 3. Towels: No available at first night, so we couldn't take a shower after a long flight and walking through the city. Breakfast: They supposed including the breakfast but there weren't alternative options. For instance, no eggs, no bread, no fruit just a poor quality coffee. Drinking water: There was a water dispenser but it ran out quickly and the staff did not pay attention to that. Toilet paper: We had an emergency and there wasn't paper. THIS IS A CHEAP HOSTEL BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU DESERVE TO HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE

Only 1 star that I gave because of the location is great but the rest of that are terrible. Start from when we checked-in, the staff gave us the towels that he took from the box which is covered with dust. We stayed on the 7th fl. with no elevators. Inside the room is very dirty, the water heater is not working, the bathtub is unclean at all, the curtain is broken we had to climb on the chair to adjust it. While I washed my face suddenly the water wasn’t running!! We decided to leave that night. It just only 2 hours we stayed and we had bad experience here.

Absolutely beautiful place, very clean and safe. Staff are very friendly! Allow you to do washing, have female dorms and 2 communal areas, including a rooftop. Right across the road from the street food market and close to everything else!
