Renaissance Bangkok was one of my favorite hotel during the past few years. I already stay at the hotel probably more than 30 stays during last year and early this year. The hotel location is quite convenient for me, breakfast is good with variety of foods, services also great and with my Bonvoy Titanium benefit which grant me access to the club lounge, the club lounge here is quite good, staffs are super nice and welcoming. Also, most of the time I usually been upgraded from guest room to corner studio which is quite appreciate. Anyway, During the past month when the hotel start to get more traffic. Some of the features that I used to appreciate from the hotel are a bit downgrade. Of course, Location still good, Services are slower, less attention to details. Guest preference are most of the time no longer remember and prepare before asking like it used to. No longer get substantial room upgrade, only something like higher floor or club room which is just the same with normal room. Some items in breakfast are gone such as fresh cold-press juices. The food and drink in club lounge are still good, staffs in club lounge are still super nice and welcoming. Anyway, Overall still somewhat an excellence hotel but with a higher price and a bit lower benefits.

Came to the Renaissance Bangkok again and Got to check in at club lounge area and the service was better. Room was nice I was platinum member and they gave me 2 daily laundry. The lounge was nice with breakfast, high tea and cocktails. Tried their gym and it was quite big with good equipment. Rooms are big with bath tubs. Overall good hotel.

This place is now overwhelmed with Marriott Elites! The lounge is so packed - they had to split the happy hour to two separate sessions. Appreciate the hard work by the staff who are doing the best they can! Avoid breakfast after 9am - had to queue for a seat!

It didn't start off on a good note because I made a reservation for a room type which was confirmed and later told not available a day before the stay. I was disappointed why such thing could happen, but the staff at Renaissance made my stay so enjoyable by being so apologetic about it and decided to upgrade me to the Presidential Suite in the end. It was an amazing experience and also have to thank Tea for that, felt very well taken care of. Everything in the hotel was good, location exceptional just a walk to the big name malls, the BTS station, and what an amazing buffet breakfast they have. Also thanks to the f&b department for the wonderful welcome chocolates and mango sticky rice, and the laundry department for getting my clothes cleaned at such a short notice. Everything was okay except for 1 minor issue with the showers: felt the marble tiles were too slippery, wanted to shower with hot water and it actually took quite a while for the temperature of water to change. And also the rain shower not very well maintained, some jets going in different directions and some seemed to be clogged. The power from the rain shower felt like a drizzle instead. Kudos to the entire team in Renaissance and will definitely stay again.

My 1st time staying in Renaissance Bangkok. When I arrived by Grab, I was welcome by 3 Concierge and they came out to help with my 1 bag πŸ˜† Checking in was so smooth and the staff was so friendly. Welcome drink, a ice lemongrass which was super refreshing on a hot hot day. Room was clean and spacious. However be extra careful with the carpet. Cos of the carpet. I nearly tripped. Executive Lounge food, considered like light dinner with steam rice and different dishes daily. Lounges are supposed to be a relaxing place. However, this lounge is so noisy especially when the guest drinks and talk even louder and louder. Quite annoying!!! Ms Fern, from Executive Lounge was very helpful, polite and efficient. She assisted me in checking the system and allocated me a room next to the lounge. She also remembers me each time I walk into the lounge. Housekeeping does a tremendous great job in keeping the rooms sparkling clean. Check out my Welcome Goodies from hotel. Bed and pillows are super comfy. Only complain is that the room walls are very thin. I can hear my neighbours talking and is very disturbing. Also the doors slamming after midnight. I didn't sleep well 1 of the night. Many choices for breakfast including fresh fruit juice Station, egg Station, noodle Station, waffle Station, etc etc Executive Lounge also provides tea coffee Juices and snacks during the whole day. Hotel location is awesome. Just 2 min to BTS Chit Lom and 15 walk to Siam Paragon. Big C, Central World, they are just a stone away. Love this hotel. Will be back whenever I'm visiting Bangkok πŸ˜‰

Beautiful modern and classy hotel. Wonderful service with very nice and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean and beautifully designed (minimalistic and modern, with great bathroom) Breakfast is incredible. Many stations. Western and Asian food. Swimming Pool is beautiful (with small sauna in the locker/changing room - very relaxing!) Club Lounge is perfect: great service, great view, soft drinks and snack all day, wine and cocktails and good food served during happy hours every day. Neighbourhood is fancy, with a lot of big classy hotels, restaurants and malls: not really representative of Bangkok, but still very nice.

We (wife and young son) stayed here for 11 days in October 2022 in the "Bedroom Studio Suite, 1 King, Corner room". First impression, Reception on the ground floor is very modern with bright almost fluorescent highlights. Staff are friendly and helpful. They checked us in swiftly and when we went to our room, a porter brought our bags very quickly. Room was nice and spacious with good amenities including power outlets that catered for all types of power plugs. The room easily accommodated an extra single sized bed for our son which we asked for. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was modern, with lots of lighting. Amusingly, the toilet had all glass walls which was a first for me (see photos)! Housekeeping throughout our stay was excellent. Great convenient location if you want to shop and get away from the nightlife of Nana or Asok. Easy walking distance to Central World, which is a modern shopping centre with more restaurants than you can count ranging from food court meals to more expensive offerings.

Checked in with Marriott Gold status before I received Platinum for a suite for a 4 night stay. Was told at the front desk, no other upgrades available since 'it was already a suite.' I requested to speak to the front desk manager and she was apologetic and upgraded us to a better room. Very surprised with the way Marriott treats status these days. Same treatment in other properties. Make sure you know your entitlement, and don't get bullied into not getting your entitled upgrades. I mean, if it's not available, I'll accept it and take the room I paid for. Other than that, the hotel facilities is fantastic for an aged property. Great Location. Good breakfast spread. Really nice pool. Would stay again due to the connectivity to the local BTS train.

Great stay in the center of Bangkok. Modern and spacious, the hotel room was fantastic. Large bath was welcoming and the a/c worked perfectly. Club lounge was easily accessible and the food at the club lounge was superb. Breakfast buffet at the main restaurant was also spectacular. Fresh juices, noodle soup, egg station was my favorite. Gym was relatively small and older than I had expected, though. R Bar was reasonably priced. The hotel staffs were eager to help and felt truly welcomed. I enjoyed Thai hospitality to the fullest at this hotel. Recommended and definitely consider this place for my next visit to Bangkok.

Excellent rooms, though slightly smaller in size then what I would have expected for the price. Service is very very good. The staff is polite and courteous, they lean into help. The breakfast spread is pretty large with dishes from different countries. They even had a few Indian dishes :) Location : Right in the heart of the city, next to all the important malls and a BTS station

Very good hotel and service. My only issue was that my room had paint and chemical smell for couple of days and had to change my room and repack again. Otherwise good hotel with excellent location. To improve i would suggest: 1. Put more lights in the room and infront of the hotel as it’s a bit dark. 2. Allow the breakfast time to be until 11:00 AM 3. The swimming pool is cold and difficult to swim for kids. Water should be further heated

This hotel is nice, the rooms are very big and clean. I had a really bad issue with my room- there was a really bad smell of a gas leak, and no one could be in the room without coughing. The service was good, and my room was switched within minutes to a better room. My only concern is- why in the first place when you make the room, no one did anything with this small (you can even smell it on the floor coming outside of the room). The breakfast is nice, I would expect more, but it wasn't bad.

Hotel is very good. Excellent food and rooms are spacious with full set of amenities. I’ve stayed three nights. Staff are helpful and curious. The hotels location is good as it’s close to one rail link but the entrance is messy as perhaps it’s under renovations. Still it’s a good place and can recommend someone visiting Bangkok for a cozy and a comfortable stay.

Love this hotel for it's strategic location for what I like to do in Bangkok. Their rooms may seem rustic but they are very well maintained. There's a good Chinese restaurant and a great drag club at the top floor (it's really enjoyable)

This has become our go-to hotel in Bangkok now. Conveniently located within walking distance to all the best malls and the skytrain makes getting around a breeze. The hotel is modern and stylish. There is a great lobby bar that makes a tantalizing cocktail after a hot Bangkok day, and the rooms are well appointed and clean. It has everything we need. Great management and staff, and the GM (Billy) is a star.

Don't forget to use Κœα΄α΄›α΄‡ΚŸΚ™oʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This web site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. Great hotel in a busy area of Bangkok without been right in the centre. Fantastic staff and spa. The pool area is nice however could do with been able to be enclosed fully during storms. Beds could do with a better quality mattress. I would definitely stay again if visiting Bangkok

I wondered to myself why after going to Bkk so so regularly I never once stayed here. Now since I have tried it once it won’t be my last. The service staff were friendly and nice. The Club lounge was cosy and good for doing work. Staff was attentive and helpful. Food in the hotel was just so so, I do not find it fantastic just ok. Will definitely come back again next month.

We had a great time stay here for a night. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Parking is not so packed and it has an easy access to the lobby. Club Lounge looks wonderful but sadly we did not have time to use it much beside breakfast. Club Lounge's breakfast has a bit limited line-up comparing to the normal breakfast but it has less people around. The room looks a bit outdated but still great to stay.

I stayed at the Malaysia 45 years ago and it was brilliant back then. Looks the same so will have to stay a few nights for old times sake. Maybe even in the same room.

Great hotel experience in Renaissance Bangkok. Centrally located within a stone’s throw from Centralworld. Very attentive and helpful staff who offers assistance readily. I needed help with mailing a parcel. One of their staff Kevin spent 20 min of his time helping me with translating and sending the parcel in a post delivery outlet a few doors down. Thank you so much and will be back!

Excellent location, right in the middle of city center. A short walk to the BTS Skytrain which can easily take you around Bangkok. Although the hotel is a little old, I think it has been recently renovated, the lobby, elevator looked modernized. Big lobby area, nicely decorated with lots of seating areas. The room is spacious, with large windows so we got a pretty good view of city. Lots of international channels on the TV, the internet is fast so no problem streaming movies. Restroom is large with a large tub, and rainfall shower. Everything is well laid out. Bed and pillows are just right, not too soft nor stiff. Breakfast is buffet style served on 21st floor, although not a whole lots of selections but adequate. My only concern is the maintenance, the fabric for headboard is ripped. The headboard, and bed stand looked old and outdated. The strip light for the headboard is almost all failed. The dimmer doesn't work as it should. The lighting in the lounge on 21st floor is very dimmed, we can't hardly see what we are eating. We asked the hostess to brighten up the light, unfortunately it is all dead. The strip light in the ceiling is from the 90's, still using the hot halogen bulbs instead of LED strip light. Fortunately, the staffs are very nice and courteous.

I don't plan to come back again. Hot water didn't work during the time when the usage was high (morning and evening). It works well at 1pm which is useless for tourists. The window is not a curtain and the light leaks in (see the photo). Too bright in the morning with shades closed, and too hot. The lobby is always busy especially at 10am-4pm. See the photo of the line. Expect the check in or check out to be at least 40 minutes. It takes 20 minutes or more to answer the phone from hotel room, which makes room service very difficult to use. The elevator wait time could be very long. I once waited 10 minutes just to get on the elevator. The kitchen doesn't have proper kitchenware. See photos. The bed is very uncomfortable.

Excellent location. Close to cluster of major shopping centers for all budgets. All shopping centers has innumerable restaurants for all palates and budgets. Excellent hotel. Service particularly noteworthy. Swimming in the sky experience. Free parking.

Good service and room style. Indoor pool and facilities are good maintained. Breakfast is OK yet less variety than other Marriott's hotel whereas exceeding expectation of club lounge's food.

Convenient hotel near Rachaprasong intersection. Staying in this hotel for one-night. The corner room has a nice view of the city. Room is spacious with large bathtub. The lobby and club lounge are lack of sunlight, making the area looks pretty dark. There’s the swimming pool and gym on the high floor. What I dislike is the fact that it’s an indoor pool, so the water is quite cold.

Great place in great location. Very clean very convenient. I am most impressed by the breakfast staff at the Flavors. They are very enthusiastic and service-minded which made the atmosphere very welcoming. Unfortunately I did not ask specific name but we would like to especially commend the manager (we assume or may be the head chef?) with eyeglasses who took very good care of all the guests and the cleanliness during this challenging time with great energy. His energy really lightens up the atmosphere. The food on all the lines are amazing. Definitely will find the opportunity to come back again.
