Honest review Nice , clean room with modern decoration inside like the other expensive hotels. But less roomy compared to its competitors. The service is not up to its standard as it should be, particularly breakfast Buffett with very limited options . Overall, if you are expecting something spectacular and planning to stay inside the hotel using all the services , this one is not for you .

Nearly booked here again as my previous extensive (1500 word) review from 2019 disappeared. The short version is that it was a good looking hotel/rooms in a easy location to access the rest of Bangkok. The downside was breakfast buffet was comparably limited in western food (big choice of Asian options) and the service was poor on multiple occasions. Staff made multiple mistakes, included one that had us being us being locked out of our room and there was clear "bias" being showed at least once. Service may have improved since 2019, but I'm not going to risk finding out.

I am Platinum member of Accor. And I can safely tell everyone to stay away from this hotel. They will rip your money if they have your credit card in their system. You will be charged for nights you didn’t stay and then good luck getting any response from them. I booked this hotel but cancelled my trip. They charged me 1 night but I sent them proof of cancellation and they stopped responding. Even if you somehow get the room, you won’t be able to sleep because their rooms are just around lift with a weird noise and windows are not air locked so unless you are dead sleeper, you will be awake whole night. Simple advise. Get any other hotel in Bangkok but stay away from this scam hotel

Expectations weren't quite met. What we didn't like: - There is a very limited choice of sunbeds in the pool area - far too few for such a large hotel. The pool area isn't the nicest. Enough to jump in the pool for a short refresh, but not more than that - Bar area is not as nice as it looks on the photos - no central light in the rooms - there are only lamps in the hallway and by the bed, but no lamp in the middle of the room, which is quite weird - breakfast is somehow made without love, coffee doesn't taste good and they somehow even managed to bake waffles and pancakes that don't taste good (how is that even possible?) - There are NO sockets in the bathroom or in the room near any mirror. if you have an electric razor, straightener or anything else with you, have fun looking for a suitable place - you won't find one. I mean, what kind of hotel is this where you can't even straighten your hair in the bathroom? I even tried to do so in the changing room of the gym, but same problem here. The only socket I found there was not only located far away from the next mirror, but also it was broken - when I tried to plug in my straightener, it couldn't be used and furthermore was damaged after that. I had to throw it away. - The ladies at the reception were not the friendliest ones. Sometimes we stood at the reception waiting to be noticed, but were simply ignored until we explicitly addressed them. I mean, why else would i stand around at the reception counter? On the other hands, the male colleagues who worked there were very helpful and friendly. - no e-mail response from the hotel: if you want a response to any question from the hotel, make sure to give them a call instead of sending an e-mail as you won't get any feedback by that. What we liked: - the gym is quite big and well equipped - nice view from the upper floor rooms - although we personally didn't enjoy the breakfast as much as in other hotels, there was a large selection of food available - male staff at the reception/concierge desk were very attentive, kind and helpful - you can order food and beverages to the room at a reasonable price - the bed was very cozy and the room was very clean

Great location and reasonable price for a centralized city center position. The staff are courteous but overwhelmed by visitors. Expect to have to queue and wait to be served. Rooms are generally not available for early check in so you will see many tourist waiting in the lobby until 3pm. They can take care of your luggage so that you can start exploring the area too. The rooms are well stocked and the cleaning crew are meticulous with their cleaning. I left a do not disturb sign on my door until the late evening and went out for dinner but when I returned, they had helped to clean my room and even folded my clothes left on the bed despite it already being so late in the day. This is really praise worthy and I have not experienced great service like this before at other hotels. The room service food is also reasonably priced and has good variety. I will definitely return here again if I visit Bangkok in the future.

Stayed here 4 nights, loved it! The room is well designed, very clean. The hotel has good amenities. Didn’t try the restaurant though. Location is super- have everything around including bts station. Staff are super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Have pleasant stay at this hotel. The facility is ok, strong wifi connection. Room has nice city view. Location is near Sky Walk and BTS. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. There is some negative point such as the lifts wait is very long, may take up to 5 minutes. Room has strong cigarette smell when receiving the room. Overall, I had a satisfying stay at this hotel.

The location of the hotel is quite strategic. Close to BTS train station. The reception staff are very friendly and the check-in process is very fast & efficient. Guests are asked for a deposit. The rooms are clean and fragrant, complete amenitis; hot water cold water available. The air conditioner had a leak, but it was immediately fixed after calling the service manager. Swimming pool is not big, clean and comfortable on the 9th floor; with a view of a tall building. The gym is not too wide, the equipment is quite complete and clean. We can ask concierge to provide taxi to airport or another places.

The checkin process was quick, the location quite near the BTS. Room is new, clean, so as their facilities. We had a breakfast buffet here, not much options, but it’s okay. The staffs were friendly and agile. On the left of the hotel, there’s a small alley, which has many delicious restaurants with affordable prices, keep in mind that they might accept cash payment only 🥲 They don’t have the card payment

The location of the hotel is quite convenient, pretty close to BTS train station. The reception staff were very friendly and the check-in process was fast & efficient. Guests were asked to place a deposit of 2000 baht. The room was clean and spacious with the necessary amenities. Love the rain shower. It was heartening to see that the hotel advocates recycling and green living, it minimises the usage of plastics and encourages visitors to reuse their towels.

Excellent location. I’ve been in the restaurant on the 8 floor for 1099 bath all you can eat seafood buffet. Not like on the poster . Very small choice - only 4 kind of the seafood dishes: shrimps, crabs ( but not the sea crabs), oysters and mussels. Also you can order a very small lobster, really small and one per person. For the rest was like 4 stars hotel breakfast, some meat, chicken and pork. In any seafood restaurant would be cheaper)

Good location next to BTS station. Room was clean and comfortable. Service and food was a disappointment. I can feel the staff morale is low , only the lady that check me in and the housekeeping guy on my floor was friendly and helpful. First day breakfast , I walk in 1 hour before they closed and I was not even given a chance to have another glass of juice.most of the station is cleared before informing guest and the restaurant is empty staff is walking around like a zombie just clearing guest table too as quickly as they can. Never go for breakfast the second day after the first encounter. On second day the hotel guest lift was completely down without any notice or advice. I waited 10-15min wondering what’s wrong with the lift till I called guest service. Her reply was annoyed and impatient and cut me off by “could I tell the maintenance people??? Is it more logical when you service all your lift at the same time you could have inform your guest? And when your guest is stranded at their floor aren’t you suppose to provide a solution like if I could be guarded through the staff service lift as an alternative way down ? Think it’s time to sent your staff for customer service enhancement programs.

This review is solely for the 8th door buffet. This was probably the saddest buffet I’ve ever been to in Bangkok, maybe the world. It’s a tiny little buffet where the food itself looks sad. The beat thing about the buffet was the soup and white rice. Glad they didn’t screw that up. The blue swimmer crabs are treated in a solution that preserves them and renders them complete mushy. It felt like I was eating durian. It was that mushy. Their “steak” is nothing more that sad slices of pork not beef loin. Save your money. It was ghastly.

we used to stay here regulary... nice clean hotel, just infront of BTS which is very convenient. Room without breakfast so we have to pay it upon checking in. Booked premium room so able to access to high floor lounge for breakfast, light drinks and food on the evening. Outdoor, there was live band, plenty of seating area, all people were kind of enjoying, drinking, socializing and enjoying the music. It was also walking distance to Nana entertainment area for perfect night life. Also walking distance, via skywalk bridge to shopping area.

phloen Chit’s Novotel has nothing to envy to other resorts the junior suite was impeccable, cleaned every day. the staff is very available. the only downside is the breakfast buffet but the price-quality ratio is unbeatable. we had access with our offer at the first Lounge on the 29th floor, perfect 👍👍👍

The hotel is clean and comfortable ... nice location to the closest BTS and easy to access to many tourist places. Front desk need more training to really make the whole checkin more welcoming. Also to really help guest to meet their reasonable requirements and not just expecting guest to understand their issues. The gym is the best place I love to hang around with good equipments to do a full workout ...

I wouldn’t say this is the best hotel, but for a reasonable priced business hotel, this is acceptable. Bed could be a little hard and the housekeeping could have been better. However, it’s location is good - right next to BTS station with a lot of eateries on both lanes next to the hotel and central embassy just minutes away via the BTS walkway. The breakfast area is very crowded, executive lounge was better but good options is very very limited at the executive lounge.

Courteous handlers, clean rooms and located in a central vista. A go-for one for the wanderlust as well as business travellers. Good ambience with swimming pool for family trips. Well stocked bars and two exclusive floors dishing out exclusive cuisine. Value for money

Stayed in few Novotel throughout all Bangkok trip. This is probably one of the worse I've experience. Arrived at hotel sharp at 250pm. Was hoping to check in and get into room to jump into a meeting call scheduled at 300pm. Arrived at lobby with queues of tourist and hotel seems understaffed to handle such amount of guest. I been to hotels like Grande Centre Point where they checked in all guest and prep all keys prior to arrival to ensure we have smooth and fast check in. Novotel, took it to next level by making their guest wait. Upon queueing, I waited for almost 10 mins just to wait for my turn. In front of me was 5 china guest who seem to have issue with their check in. Finally reached my turn and was hoping to sort out all documentation and quickly get into room, setup for my meeting. The front office lady walk back and forth, and I foresee something is going wrong. True enough, she came back and mentioned our room is not ready, they would require another 20 min. Leaving me hanging, I decided to take the call at their lounge at G floor with noise around it. After more than 20 min, we would have to walk to reception and ask if our room is ready. It took them around 30 min in total to get us our room key and finally we are in the room. The room itself, what a weird design. Probably lights cost expensive in Thailand. It seems quite hard just to light up the room. Only few lights available, superbly dim room, not comfortable to sit down and do some work. Would I return? Straight answer, NO eventhough location is good which is right in front of BTS. Thanks but no thanks.

Conveniently located right in front of BTS Station. Room is clean despite the size is relatively small. Staffs are very helpful. I enjoy the privilege to stay in Premier floor. Good for both business and leisure.. Will come again.

This is a nice little hotel in the heart of town that is decently easy to reach from the subway and has a very nice breakfast buffet as well as other options depending on the time of the day, I never did get to hit the outdoor pool but they also have that option and with the subway within walking distance you can branch out to just about any part of town, but be warned if you're not home by midnight the Subway will be closed till 6am and you'll have to grab a tuk tuk or a taxi to get back home, same with going there, also they offer a taxi ride through the hotel to the airport but it's pretty steep so your better off trying to grab one without there help. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay there and look forward to staying there in the future!

Stayed just 1 night, checking was smooth and friendly. Rooms reasonably clean, a few stains on the carpet but not too bad. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was a little disappointing for Novotel but sufficient. Location handy for bts Overall fair value for what I paid.

Pretty good location cos BTS right in front of hotel. Spacious and clean rooms but the one we stayed in was a bit of a disappointment, glass was tinted with small circles so couldn't take nice photos of the view outside from our room. Another room was better cos not tinted.

Had a brunch buffet there for 1099 baht/person. It was horrible, the staff was not very informative and the food was below average. Not value for money. Not what was expected from the website, oyster was not fresh with a weird taste and they barely refilling them. Lamb chobs had no meat on them only FAT was presented and limited for one each, to add to that, the staff didn’t inform us at first about the lamb chops, we only knew about it from the table next to us ordering it. The cold cuts was super disappointing 2 sorts of meat was there which was all chicken and pork bologna. I’ve had a much better experience at another novotel. Would Not recommend anyone to go there.

Very nice hotel with great service and food. We stayed here two nights after a week in Phuket. It was a transfer from our original destination due to covid regulations, and they were very gracious to take our group of 36 in.

Great reception team. Rooms are simple but clean. Toiletries provided are functional. Didn't like the couches in room....greasy stains Good breakfast spreads ..love the croissant 🥐

very disappointing, booked king suite, no preference for check in, was told have to pay drinks directly at outlet (cannot charge to room), suite (80 m2) basically empty, no table and chair for in room dining, minibar completely empty, not even a bottle of water inside. coffeemaker with a choice of 2 !!! capsules, but no water provided. internal phone system not working well, got trough to service desk only after more then a dozen time trying and even then, the connection was very bad. by all understanding for covid related problems and necessary saving efforts, this, for the price paid, is unacceptable.

Rooms are pretty good,, great panorama view if you stay at the upper floors. Breakfast is satisfactory. Friendly staff. The gym is also decent. The sky bar at the rooftop not really, great view though.

Pros: hotel was very clean & nice! Safe- Needed key card for your elevator/floor. 5 stars for the actual place. Cons: some of the staff were a bit rude & unhelpful. Not 5 star service. The line for room service often didn’t work. Pool was okay. Food was pretty good!

This Novotel is quite a bit better than most hotels managed under the Novotel brand. The rooms are clean and fairly typical-- quite comparable to other Novotel properties. In all, the property itself is fairly unremarkable, except for the executive lounge which has a nice large balcony area. What makes this Novotel really stand apart from others I've been at are how great the property's staff are. They are by far some of the best I've encountered at a Novotel property. Extremely professional, engaging, and ample thoughtfulness with careful attention to details. I would definitely come back to this property in the future.

I was made an appointment here, so I park the car here and found that the parking lots do not have any security guard"s" or security systems which is very general for hotel, this is extremly dangerous for any whom want to stay in "Novotel".

In my last visit to Bangkok city two years ago,I stayed in this hotel with my family. it was nice and clean. The breakfast 🥐 buffet was very nice 😋 with variety of foods and fulfilling the different tastes. the only one thing I didn't like is the size of the rooms, very small. The location is great on Sukhumvit road very near to phlunchit SkyTrain station which is great. I like it in general.
