Hello. Wish to congratulate the team at Khaosarn road IBIS on the job well done.I have an amazing stay over this past fourteen days of self isolate. Upon the smooth transition of airport pick up to the very polite taxi driver. Very fast and efficient checked in the process. The room had been pre air-conditioning. Generous room size considering the price I had paid for and bedding very comfy taking the edges off jet lagged. I haven't tried varieties of foods on the menu, but my room service had been spot on. I also wish to convey mine appreciation toward the teams of attentive and light handed nurse stations in this hotel too. I had heard many horrid stories but they had put my fears at ease with theirs gentle way. A few improvement points, if I may. The loo light went out in the third days. Leaking water from the loo water spray constantly after using. Kettle was leaking as well. The spare bed sheet should provide as it long stay without turn-down services. Electronic payment mini bar full stocking with snacks or protein bars would be a great implement as this would be the new normal in the course of time. Airport did not have ATM and exchange boots were not operated.

Terrible experience with booking an ASQ (at another Ibis in Bangkok) and a subsequent a downgrade that Ibis is trying to refuse to refund accordingly. Booking an ASQ took extremely long. Conflicting advice from booking team regarding CoE amendments. No information from hotel that quarantine stay is 14 and not 15 nights when arriving before 18.00. All medical procedures take place in public - no privacy. Standard room is dark, cramped, and window cannot be opened. Air condition unit has the two usual settings of too hot or too cold. Food is bland and served at set times. Staff is nice and generally easy to deal with.

I cannot say enough about my stay here at Ibis Styles. The staff were incredibly attentive and the food was consistently perfect. Even though we are in bad times and I was staying there under quarantine provisions. The staff never let me forget that I was still in the land of smiles and went out of their way at every turn to keep all customers happy. If I requested something and it wasn't on hand, someone would go out to the store and buy it for me and bring it to my room and the place is super clean. Just an amazing hotel close to the airport but far enough away that you couldn't even hear traffic. The GM of this hotel is really lucky to have a staff like this. They made this stay the very best.

Smack in the middle of Khao San Road 2, this is the best place to stay in Bangkok. Rooms are great! Cozy, tidy and room services was first class. They'll come every morning to clean up your room. StrEats, is a good place to chill and drink, while watching people on the street passing by. The swimming pool is also accessible and comfortable to hang out at. Beakfast was included in our room, food choices for breakfast was limited but it was good. What I really love about this hotel is the location. It's where you want to be staying if you really want to experience Khao San Road but preferred not to stay in a B&B or backpackers hotels. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for one night after arriving to Bangkok on an early morning flight. My experience wasn't great because the AC was out in the hotel until the evening, so the rooms were very hot. They said that this was because the power company was doing work on the block. Since I only stayed 1 night, I'm not sure if this is true or if it is just what they say. The rooms lack Khao San Road "character" but are very clean and funky. The pool is a great amenity and feels like a special treat after being a tourist for a day in steamy Bangkok!

Pleasant experience staying here for 4 days and 3 nights. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. 3 of us slept very well in one room with a bunk bed and a super single bed. The shower and toilet is separate which is a feature I love. All in all a comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast spread! Great location as well as it is among bars, massage joints, and street vendors.

This hotel has come a long way since it’s days as the old Vieng Tai which many travellers to Thailand in the past will know well. Check in staff are fantastic, polite and friendly and the area on check in is bright, clean and super welcoming. Pool area is quiet, private and a good pool size. Rooms are a good size, clean and modern. Surprisingly given the location rooms are quite which is exactly a key point to look for if staying in this area. Lots of food stalls and Khao San just outside the entrance, but the restaurant also does a great breakfast. People come here for the location more than anything. It is in the heart of the backpacking Khao San area, and walking distance to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, National Musum, Golden amount - it’s the perfect tourist location.

Good location for big nights. The team are friendly and helpful but for me the bed was too soft and was quite noisy (as expected due to location) to all hours of the morning. Pizza, Tom Yum and Fish Cakes are delicious! Call to confirm room service! Pool looked lovely but didn't road test.

Very nice place to stay. I would stay here again no problem. Its not made clear how to use the lifts at first as you have to use your room card but once you work that out its plain sailing. The beds are amazing and the room and bathroom were very nice too.

AMAZING stay here! We booked because they were able to accommodate our 3am arrival time due to a late flight & were impressed by the entire experience! The location is great, a short distance to everything you’d want to see (temples, markets, malls, parties, food), and yet a quiet oasis to get a peaceful nights rest! We were on the forth floor facing the street yet the noise was extremely limited. One thing to mention is the breakfast buffet is phenomenal!!! At $250 baht (approx $10 CAD) it is more expensive than other options but the quality and selection make it so well worth it! We ate a ton of food and weren’t hungry again until dinner! As a vegan I must say there were plenty of options - grilled tomatoes, sautéed mushroom, carrot and broccoli, toast with jam, potatoes, fruit, salad, rice, cereal, coffee and tea! Though they have soy milk a lot of soy milk here has whole milk powder but I was able to find juice box size almond milk at 7/11 and used that in my cereal and coffee as needed. This place was the perfect spot to get acquainted with Thailand! Thank you!

Definitely a must if you stay in Khao San area. The hotel is newly renovated from and old Viengtai hotel. Room is clean and spacious with bright colors. And it's right in the middle of everything you wanna do at Khao San. Bars, cafes, street foods, street massage parlours at your door. You wouldn't miss a thing. Pick a room with a window facing the back to get a good sleep at night. For shower, hot water takes a while to get, but the pressure is good. This hotel also includes breakfast. Food tastes OK and comes with adequate options. The automatic waffle machine is a must-see item! There's also long colorful pool at the back of the lobby. After a hot day on the road, you'll love a dip while enjoying beers. Definitely will be back and reccomend this place to others.

Very surprising!! Great location, next to Kawasan street but quiet, the street is great, High level hotel at all aspects, big rooms, new and decorated, very clean, secured- room cards required even at the elevators, high service level, very good pool, opened till 9pm,no lifeguard after noon. Good Breakfast, not 2 big but surely not continental. Prices at the bar are more than fair.
