This is my first visit to Bangkok. Our Tour Guide has been excellent getting us the good deals with this hotel. Based on web review this hotel provides reasonable price and highest rate on the service. In summary break down into few points. 1.Location This hotel that I will keep coming back to stay with strategic location for local street food and shop which given 5 star. 2. Hotel Services On the service point it's true great service as per web reviews. We encounter issue with one of family room toilet that been immediately attended. The bell boys providing good smile days in and days out. 3. Rooms The room quite nice and clean just I don't like the mirror facing to bed. The daily cleaning services top notch. 4. Foods Before came to Bangkok we planning to having breakfast on outside restaurants but end up daily breakfast at the hotel its because of good quality and nice foods to start our daily holiday. Hope my honest points of view can provide first time visit a upfront preparation.

This is my second stay in this hotel. Hotel lobby is on the 7th floor and you need to take lift 2 times to get to your room. Other than this slight inconvenience, all is good. The room is very spacious, clean, modernly designed and bed is comfy. The sound proofing of the room is also quite good. I like that the room can be very bright if you turn on all the lights. Air con temp can also be fully controlled. It is very near to Platinum mall, Pratunam market, 7-11 and this December shopping place. Also walkable to Central world and Big C. However it is not so near to MRT (about 15min walk) and if you are travelling by car note that the road outside the hotel is often jammed with heavy traffic.

Room & bathroom was clean and modern design. Bed was big western size. Location was superb if you want to shop in Pratunam. It's just across Decembers. Unfortunately, front desk which is the most important part representing the value of the hotel didn't do her job well, missed out small and simple details of my booking.

Great hotel at a convenient location. Only issues which we faced was that the water in the shower was not warm enough, and that the water pressure was not high enough as well. Otherwise excellent service, everything that you would look for in a hotel is provided, and located near to all the popular destinations you would want to go to.

Before covid ,We will travel to Bangkok every year. This year return back to this hotel & realized that some old counter staffs were replaced. Counter new Staffs not as friendly like old one, Attitude need to improve! Request to change the pillow as too soft but didn't managed to do it. The Bellboy was very friendly & provided excellent service. Overall still my favorite hotel in Bangkok.

It's definitely a good location when Platinum shopping mall is just across hotel with linked overhead bridge. However all drivers dont drop you off at front door, it will be along road side or even the opposite road. I find that lobby service staffs lacks warm greetings and sincere initiatives to help guests. They mainly stand there and busy with their things till you ask for help. Inflexible arrangment of food delivery to the hotel, each time you have to go down personally to lobby (level 7) to pick up your food. Room cleaning is sloppy, they dont even wash your cups for you. I stayed for 9 nights, bedsheets werent even changed once. No appreciation to guest who check in the hotel again, unlike Berkeley, they remember you and thank you for staying with them again. I dont even get a 1 hour late check out request fulfilled. For service, this hotel is out, they dont help guest with taxi meter service too. For location, they Ace it however, during peak hours the cars which are willing to comeby is lesser due to massive jam.

Was on a holiday trip with my family of 4 from last Thursday to Sunday. Loved the scene from my 18th floor window! The cleaners, staff were also very friendly and courteous to everyone all the way! It's very near to shopping sites, with Starbucks and Macdonalds at level 1. I highly recommend everyone to come and have a stay here.

Kudos to the front desk in arranging adjoining rooms that have access between them. The staff overall, including the kitchen ones, were courteous and attentive. Breakfast was a rather good spread. Try the noodle soup station. And a commendation for the omelette chef for doing a good job. The only bugbears were stains on bed linens and a not so clean toilet. Otherwise a good value for money place to stay.

This hotel is very centrally located with lots of shopping mall. The staff that help us to check in (Ms. Supreme) & (Ms.Anny) was very friendly. Checking in without any hassle and we book the breakfast for the following day with a special promo discount. We have a great breakfast at the cafe and the food is delicious. The food did ran out pretty fast and when I ask for the hash brown to be replenished, they told me that there isnโ€™t any more as they have replaced it with truffle fries. I was kind of disappointed but the truffle fries indeed was tasty too. However, while I almost finishing my breakfast, the staff (Ms. Bowie) surprised me with a plate of (2pcs) Hash Brown specially cooked and served me on my table to avoid my disappointment. The staff (Mr Lak) heard me hence he arranged for this. Special thanks to him for being so attentive and fulfilling their guest request/needs. What a great start of the day with this team of staff at the kitchen (esp Mr Dan who cooks great omelette). Kudos to them. Highly recommending this hotel to all who wish to have a pleasant stay in Bangkok with great memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6D5N stay here as the room as very spacious, toiletries and towels were replaced by good room service everyday (with 4 bottles of water included). The soundproofing is not too bad, bed was comfortable too and everything was generally clean. Special mention to their excellent service from our arrival to their departure with their hotel bell boy, MAX, attending to our baggage and luggage and our safety. Their staff also know some English so it was easier to communicate. Overall, had a lovely stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

Great location, especially if you love to shop. Platinum mall is right opposite and the hotel is about 10-15mins away from Rachaprarop station and the Big C area. Jack, the bellboy was very polite and helpful in carrying our bags even though we did not ask for help :) Only issue was that the toilet and sink had issues with the water flow, we had to call the engineer a few times to fix it but they were also prompt and friendly. Breakfast selection was not the best but for the price it was definitely decent, would recommend if you want to shop around this area. Room is also very clean and you can book the corner deluxe room if you want more space.

A great atmosphere in this hotel and amazing place to relax and do shopping. Iโ€™d like to add one more thing that made me rate 5 stars, the worker called (Jack) is well mannered guy, he took our luggage to outside because taxi driver canโ€™t reach the hotel, and helped us calling the taxi to describe the way for him, finally after the taxi arrives Jack didnโ€™t stop his kindness and helped us to put the luggage in the car, the kindest hotel worker Iโ€™ve ever seen, thank you Jack! All love

Conveniently connected to Shibuya Mall, which has an overhead bridge to Platinum mall, giving access to the covered sky bridge, Big C, Siam BTS and more. It is walking distance to multiple 7-11, few street food stalls and a massage parlour. Few minutes walk to bus stop if you choose not to go via BTS. Grab and taxi are just 1 booking away, though be prepared to wait up to 10min and jam is perpetually present at pratunum during the day. Room levels are secured with room card so security is good. The bed and pillows however are unacceptably soft so it might give back aches if you are used to firm mattresses. Staff are very friendly and helpful at all time. Will definitely choose to stay here during next Bangkok trip.

Stayed at this hotel booked via AirAsia bundle with flights to Bangkok last week. I would say this place is quite strategic to stay, in Pratunam, adjacent to Platinum Mall. Walking distance to Big C Supercenter, Centralworld; as well as Gaysorn and Siam Paragon via sky walk. Nearest BTS however is Ratchathewi station with approx 10mins walk. Hotel room is splendidly clean and comfortable. Sufficient lighting. Bathroom clean and showers were awesome. Housekeeping did very good job in cleaning the room everyday, and refilling good amount of water daily to ensure you get hydrate enough. You will also find tacky lines on the water bottle, body shampoo, hand wash etc. Catchy! Breakfast in the hotel, same food everyday when I stayed there. Wonโ€™t recommend you to spend additional money to have breakfast in the hotel. Just head out for some Bangkok food ๐Ÿ™‚ Didnโ€™t take photo of the hotel interior, it may not look much from the outside, but inside is wonderfully different. The hotel is the blue building on the right in the photo attached. Photo is taken on the Platinum mall bridge. That is how close it is!

There was no bellboy to assist me to take my luggage to my room. The staff of the restaurant were not professional at all with very bad service. The housekeeping staff not cleaning the room properly and they take half day to clean my room number 1903 The TV has 3 to 4 channels only. The only positive is the location as its easy access to patunam market and shopping malls.

I saw the reviews of the hotel and decided to book this hotel for the location as is very convenient. The hotel bell boys' service is really good. The service at the reception, breakfast restaurant are all good. I had no complaints at all when staying here and would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family visiting Bangkok. The rooms are big and spacious and except for one little incident that the bidet was leaking and the floor was wet and I almost slipped and fell. However after informing the reception, someone was there to repair it within 10 mins. They actually took customer's feedback seriously. When I checked out the reception staff still asked us if we are happy and of course we are and we told them we will definitely come back and book with the hotel again. 5 stars review is definitely worth it!!! Keep it up and looking forward to our next trip.

Staff , service and rooms all great. If you stay recommend to add the breakfast to your booking, lots of choices and great value. Airport transfer booked at the hotel were also worthwhile. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff , very kind and helpful.

The hotel is located on the 7th floor and provides very clean and comfortable rooms. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near shopping centers and there are many delicious food options in the surrounding area. A great choice for those who love being in a strategic location for shopping.

Great Value in a Shopaholics dream area!! Loved our stay at Vela Dhi Glow, was in an incredible part of Bangkok, perfect for shopping! Just a few minutes walk to Platinum shopping mall and so many shops and alleyways full of bargains close by. Vela Dhi Glow was great value and the room we had on the 17th floor was perfect. Huge windows with a great view of the city, and the curtains even lap over each other which was awesome (no gap, no light). Bed was super comfy and massive, bathroom and shower were also large, lighting and air con could be controlled from a panel next to the bed which was awesome, loved that! Special note to the ladies cleaning the room, you do an incredible job, our room was always promptly cleaned and just spotless each time, thank you. Plenty of water bottles in the room each day. Also was good to have cotton pads in the bathroom to remove makeup. Staff especially the men dealing with the luggage and lifts were so lovely and friendly and the day we left one of the staff on the door even called our ride on Bolt and spoke to him in Thai to make sure the man knew where to go to pick us up as it can be quite difficult in that area, we really appreciated that, it helped greatly. The breakfast had a good variety, my only suggestion would be to have better coffee beans, the machine at Breakfast does automatically make coffee but only has one choice of coffee and the coffee wasn't as good as it could be, but apart from that everything was awesome. We would definitely stay again and recommend this lovely hotel 100%, thank you.

Very nice hotel at a good price. Not the greatest location unless you want to be near the wholesale fashion district. It's also not the easiest to find as it's on the 7th floor with the bottom floors wholesale outlets. There are signs indicating the hotel lobby but they are not obvious. There is also parking which you enter from Soi 19, with no signs indicating this. The rooms, lobby and other facilities are very nice. The buffet breakfast was marginal, perhaps due to Covid times.

We have a wonderful & comfortable stay @Vela Dhi for 3 nights, location is perfect. Enjoyed our foodtrip and shopping downstairs & nearby malls & night markets. Hotel staff, frontdesk, from check in to housekeeping are all great. The corner room on the 11th floor is spacious, clean & well maintained, plus the comfy bed & pillows. ๐ŸซฐBuffet breakfast is good, with variety of options, we like the chicken rice.โ˜•๏ธโ˜•๏ธ

Clean room and excellent location; has connecting bridge to Central World (around 10 to 15 mins walk to reach Central World) and Platinum & December Malls which are right opposite the hotel. Staff are friendly and responsive though I would have hoped they could have provided four sets of towels for us - 2 adults and 2 kids. It appears that we have to request specifically for the 4th set of towel since we had only one extra bed. My take is, records would have shown us being a family of 4 so the arrangements for us could be more seamless.

This was my 3rd stay in GLOW Hotel... Although the reception was on the 7th floor....there is 4 lift to the 7th floor... Short waiting time to wait the lift.... The room was big enough to open 2 big luggage and the bed was soft and comfortable with a nice view...the hotel was beside the pratunam morning Market and there alots of local food along the roadside I would recommend GLOW hotel ๐Ÿ‘

Our stay here was amazing! We were able to check in earlier than we expected. The receptionists were very kind and diligently responded to our requests as well. They were also helpful whenever we had any questions. The location of the hotel was ideal as well (if you don't mind a few minutes of walking)! It shouldn't take you more than five minutes to get to Platinum Fashion Mall, and ten to get to Central World. Buses were very accessible since there is a bus stop just right across the establishment. However, if you're looking to ride the train instead, you would have to walk a while to get to the nearest station (we were able to overlook this little detail since we did not use the train during our stay at all). The room we stayed in was very clean and spacious (there were only two of us), and housekeeping was quite attentive. The breakfast buffet was also yummy! We didn't get to see the other amenities but they're available for use to the guests. In the lobby, there is also a massage service that's open until past midnight. Overall, as mentioned, our stay with Vela Dhi Glow Pratunam was a dream! Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Bangkok!

Staying here for 4 nights and the experience was good in general. Very convenient and friendly staff. Room is spacious and clean. However, there is always room for improvement. The shower frequently slowed down. It took time to shower. The breakfast lacked of variations. It's worth the price though.

10/10!! What a great stay all staff were super friendly and couldnโ€™t do enough for me. Very helpful and polite. Really good location loads of cool places near by to explore that are walking distance. Contacting the staff before getting here to arrange hotel transfer and pcr test was simple and very quick turn around on my emails.

  • 4/5 Hayley B. 1 year ago on Google
Overall good. Breakfast was better than what you'd get in the US and the rooms were nice. It's also very close to sky walks to get around to a lot of different shopping areas. Beds were also quite comfortable. Though, the beds were pushed together but not secured, so they'd slide apart. Cons: - the website is a little misleading. There is a Spa in the mall below it and the "airport transport service" title on their website means a third party has a booth in the hotel that could take you to the airport for a price. (Though they do note this below the title) - it's a 15-20 min walk to the BTS sky train and there are no shuttles provided by the hotel. Another hotel we stayed in was 10 min walk and had a shuttle service at least 3x a day. - first day of breakfast was not great. The doughnuts were somewhat stale and the food felt lack luster. Second day was better. Though options were pretty catered to typical western tastes, with the exception of a noodle bar and rice with 2 Thai dishes. Overall, would likely stay again if i particularly needed to be near a shopping district

Room was spacious & clean. Towels were clean but pillow was too soft. Front desk staff was helpful when we approached them to help to book massage as we did not have local number. Breakfast was lousy & lacked variation. I had the same breakfast for my 4D3N stay. The presentation of the spread of food was unappetising. Coffee was really bad.

  • 4/5 Sean S. 1 year ago on Google
Overall, Vela Dhi Glow is definitely one of the better hotels that provides quality service standards. The staffs at the front desk as well as the bellboys were friendly, approachable and always take initiative in providing assistance even when we did not ask for it. One downside of the hotel is the consistency of the level pressure to the room. The water pressure and increase and decrease progressively with the concurrent change of the temperature. It can be annoying at times and I hope the hotel facilitate management team can look into the matter. :)

  • 5/5 Ng W. 1 year ago on Google
Great location, room is clean and comfortable. Staffs are friendly especially the bellboy (Jack and Tom), they are so helpful to carry our luggage and arrange taxi to send us to airport. Really happy with the service and will visit the hotel again for sure!
