After many years not being in Bangkok and staying in the Peninsula we have been back for an entire week end of November. What an excellent experience again. Location of the Hotel is top. Service and staff is always above and beyond. Food is great. Room is good but would appreciate an upgrade of the technical equipment (e.g. content streaming from mobile devices to TV). View from room / balcony is outstanding. We have really enjoyed our home coming and do already plan for a trip back in 2024.

I have stayed here more than ten times but the last time was many years ago. Still one of the world's best city hotels. Service was impeccable and exceptional. Do not pay double to stay at the Oriental but instead enjoy the vastly superior views from the Peninsula. Breakfast was exceptional with many healthy options. The free, daily activities were great too. Can't recommend it highly enough.

If you are looking for 5+ star luxury hotel with the best service hospitality in Bangkok. Yes, I definitely recommend The Peninsula Bangkok. This is my 1st time visit at this hotel and make me so impressed both service hospitality and details of the facilities in the hotel, amenities in the room and stunning view in every room. I love this classic style of the property. Not only the style of the property but also staff are very good informative and services.

What an amazing experience!! The service standard blow my mind! The therapist skill is fantastic. I love their amenities and the location of the Spa, where you need to walk along the pool to the old heritage style house. Will definitely go back!!

5 stars hotel with excellent services. We get special promotion so the price is super cheap comparing to the room, location, services. 1 small setback is for the dinner as we got the food quite delay. Everything else is superb. Strongly recommend.

Loved our Thai Massages during our stay in Bangkok. The ladies locker room has steam room and whirlpool / plunge pool. The treatment rooms are located a short walk from the spa in a large building that has three floors. The thai massages were excellent; with the woman explaining what to expect and then I left feeling extremely relaxed. They will serve you hot tea and a healthy snack before and after your treatment. Prices were certainly more expensive than on the street; but very well priced compared to spas in the US.

An absolute outstanding spa, even for Thai hospitality standards. The masseur were very friendly, polite and informative on every move. They will continually check on you on every aspect of your spa experience. Whether it's the temperature of the room, the texture of the cream use and so on. The price of the service is on expensive end, but it's worth every baht.

I’m living and working in Thailand and I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels in Bangkok but The Peninsula Bangkok is outstanding in so many ways: The hospitality, customer-oriented mindset, view, spacious rooms, cleanliness, Spa, gastronomy including plant based food (which is trending but not many hotels consider it worth the business or simply haven’t realized it yet). As well as the small things like daily fresh fruit in the room, hand written greeting cards by the GM, information cards under the door saying that they received the “make up room” call and will be there in a few minutes, being greeted by your name by most of the waiters after the first visit, bringing up iron and ironing board in the middle of the night. If I could improve one thing, it would be to review the wine menu and consider internationally better rated wines from different price ranges. I love this hotel and can highly recommend it to singles, couples and families! If you are a Thailand resident (citizen or expat), ask for special rates.

A wonderful hotel, full of many facilities. The service was excellent. The room was quite large, clean, very good chocolate as a welcome dessert and an awesome river view. Large bathroom and had everything you need. The fitness center was very well combined with many spa courses. Great afternoon tea at The Lobby. The dinner buffet was simple and expensive but the breakfast was excellent. Easy to go to Icon Siam by shuttle boat.

Such a great hotel with wonderful food and service. The pool is a particular highlight and I think it's better than the Mandarin Oriental pool, which I also spent a day at. The rooms are stellar, and the daily service is top notch. The spa is quite comfortable, and the fitness center has both a cold tub and hot tub to soak in. The staff are great and the concierge will sort out everything you need for your trip. This hotel is worth every penny and the food is awesome.

I stayed at the pool for a day with an affordable day pass of 1000 Baht with 600 Baht credit to use at the pool bar/restaurant. The staff was beyond friendly and treated me like one of the hotel guests. The mocktails and coffee were very good and the Pad Thai I had was very good. The loungers are comfortable and the pool is actually heated. There are very clean toilets available for pool users. The only downside is that there is a nursery being constructed next door (as of November 2022), which makes some noise but not excessively.

The Peninsula Hotel Bangkok deserves 5- star rating in every aspect. I've been here many times in the past 10 years and the quality of services is still at the top. The whole place is still in good shape. Room is very nice and tidy. The bathroom is top notch with high quality amenities. The slippers provided come in 2 sizes, big and medium, for male and female probably. Stunning river view. Exceptional and professional service from the staff. The only drawback for our stay is an unstable chromecast connection. It kept disconnecting every couple of minutes. Apart from this is perfect.

I like the elegance here, worthy of a century-old hotel group. I like one of their rules in the lobby: no loud talking. So I had a very peaceful and memorable holiday here! The service here is very fast. Except for asking them to print documents on the last day and still not receiving them before I leave, they try their best to meet customer needs as quickly as possible!

A fantastic hotel in a fantastic area, next to the river. The luxury rooms are very beautiful with a unbelievable viewing, a perfect bathroom and a top equipment. The rooms are very quiet and you have always a top room service. Also all other members of the staff are always very kind, helpful and wanted to make your wishes come true. Every part of the hotel, the pool, the three restaurants, the spa everything is excellent. It was my seventh time in this beautiful hotel but for sure not my last. Congratulations to the manager for your great staff. Best regards and I hope we see us soon, Markus Rues

We went to the Peninsula for its large buffet dinner, which we had been told was really amazing. We were happy enough with the food and service, but considering the price at $65 US per person (not including ANY drinks) we were not terribly impressed with the buffet overall. There were plenty of food choices, but I guess that we expected much more for the price. The view from the restaurant of the river is really great. Service was good. The hotel looked really amazing inside, especially with the holiday decorations. We probably will not return for this buffet again.

A wonderful stay as ever. This is my favourite place to stay in Bangkok, this time was no exception. The atmosphere is elegant and traditional and boasts luxury and attention to detail. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always go above and beyond to ensure a relaxed stay. The service really makes you feel like you're receiving extra special treatment. We were upgraded due to are frequent stays, the room had fantastic views of the river and the city. The room was tended to several times in a day, so we never needed to request more toiletries or towels. The breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they remembered every detail, such as what selection of drinks we had each morning and where we liked to sit. One member of staff really stood out, he was incredibly happy and always smiling, its obvious that he really enjoys his job and was always giving 100% . His name is Neung. I will be looking forward to staying again on my next visit .

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any stay. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be disappointed. Had a wonderful stay. The staff went out of their ways to make sure we have a great stay and made me definitely want to go back and stay there again. The room is a bit outdated but was clean and comfortable. Superb view. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay. Nice view. The hotel is clean and well maintained. I love bathroom in the room. The light and facilities in the bathroom - elegant! The location, if traveling by car, traffic is a bit slow. The room is nice with great river view. Great breakfast. I love rice porridge, 5 🌟 - delicious. We had dinner buffet, great seafood choice and the river prawns is delicious. Many choices for dessert. Afternoon Tea is very nice, variety of choice for snack and sweet. Great service. I love the wide window area and high ceiling. It gives a great feeling. I definitely will come back here again.

If you’re ever trying to decide between The Peninsula and their neighbors M**darin O**ental, I’d recommend you to choose the Peninsula. Mandarin makes you feel like you should be happy to be at their premises, whilst the Peninsula make you feel like they’re happy to have you. Big difference and the main reason I will always choose The Peninsula.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow, where do I even start? The Peninsula Hotel Bangkok was an absolute dream come true. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt like royalty. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the American Chamber of Commerce event hosted by the hotel. Let me tell you, they knocked it out of the park! The event planning was top-notch, and every detail was taken care of flawlessly. And I have to give a special shout-out to Caroline, the Director of Sales and Marketing, whose personal touch made all the difference. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my goodness! Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, and I found myself going back for seconds (and thirds!). The service was beyond exceptional; every staff member made me feel like a VIP throughout my entire stay. In short, the Peninsula Hotel Bangkok is a true gem. If you're looking for luxury, impeccable service, and unforgettable experiences, look no further. Thank you to Caroline and the entire team for making my stay one for the books.

Wonderful experience! This is our first time to visit and it was one of the most relaxing and comfortable hotel we've ever stayed. The restaurant and the breakfast and also delicious. The shuttle boat to ICONSIAM was really on time every 30 minutes. Recommended to those who would love to have a hotel trip 😊

I highly recommend this hotel but it's expensive without promotional deals. We got it for a $100 deal with breakfast and dinner. My family stayed the night as part of their promotional staycation deal. It was an awesome experience. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We've stayed at 4 star hotels, but to earn that 5th star requires a hotel go above and beyond. The Peninsula went above and beyond. We got a late check-out. Their activities (aqua-fit, baking course, and beverage course) were all fun and entertaining. We were given a choice between a buffet or a western dinner. We chose the western and was not disappointed. The food was exquisite.

What an unforgettable experience. There are places that make you want to write a review- often triggered by either extreme emotion: good or bad. In terms of service, this hotel is by far one of the best hotels in the world. I arranged airport pickup service which was accompanied by a greeter when I arrived, but also when I returned to the airport- there were two greeters who took my luggages to the check in desk. Location, room, ferry, buffet - all outstanding, but again hats off to the hotel managers and the entire staff.

This is nice old luxury hotel . Most make me happy to stay here was professional staffs . They are really deep welcome and nice from heart smile want to give to 5 star but this hotel has 3 problems what I found . 1. in the night time when the board kurz come can hear really loud music . 2. next swimming pool has neighbor under construction so when you stay swimming pool also really loud ! Also strong wind blows . 3. the breakfast is really bad . Food is not looks nice . Litte be dirty . Food and Taste is very low quality even I sew it some fly around Dessert and Bread . I stay 3 nights did not eat breakfast ! I really do not understand so nice hotel has so bad breakfast.

Great and very good impressive services, nice staffs, nothing to fair comment. Everything is good impression. Beautiful classic decorated room, useful in every details. Only not WOW!!! was restaurant, dinner and breakfast were too simple. River view was great and breathtaking. Swimming pool was quite long and not large enough for. Pool pavilions not enough and too crowded.

Luxury hotel with great view of the Chaophraya river . Very privacy and calm atmosphere, not too busy or crowded from big group tourists. Dinner buffet is nice, many foods and the view is amazing. Walking distance to icon Siam mall or by hotel shuttle furry. Easy to access to train station.

Harry and the team were fantastic. Their tailor is the best in the business, I’m in NYC and not one of my suits fit this way. I highly recommend peninsula tailor Bangkok chidlom to anyone that wants great quality with great pricing. They also keep you dimensions so if you need to order another they will send you the suit right to your door step.

I thought I'd had good hotel service until I came here. Everyone is amazing. Housekeeping's attention to detail is superb. The room was fantastic. Some old fashioned styling and room features but all so easily forgivable. Breakfast is a delight, and the rice menu in the Thai restaurant was excellent. Good cocktails in The Bar.

The best service of any hotel in 40 days and seven countries. They seriously have figured everything out correctly. Need your laundry picked up? Done in a flash. Alms for the monks? Just ask the concierge, who by the way will also stamp and mail all your postcards free. Best spa, period, anywhere in the world. Spectacular breakfast buffet. Dietary restrictions cheerfully accommodated. Huge rooms. Take a boat ride from the private pier—it’s Bangkok and you’re right on the water! Unbeatable overall.

Could not recommend The Peninsula Bangkok more highly - everything is top notch in every way. This is a true 5* hotel which provides an exceptional level of service. A particular highlight for us was the terrace over looking the river, which much was wonderful for a relaxing breakfast or dinner. The buffet dinner in the evening is excellent and good value.

I loved staying at the Peninsula BKK. Beautifully set on the river, with a stunning view for breakfast or dinner. My suite was on the 11th floor with also incredible view of the river from the top. The staff was incredible professional and attended to all my needs. I highly recommend this real 5 star hotel!

After much anticipation swayed by the many exceptional reviews, I booked a three-night stay at this hotel, expecting a wonderful experience. Regrettably, my enthusiasm waned upon encountering the room provided to me. Despite the premium rate, the accommodations were disappointingly compact and reminiscent of a cave, with a diminutive balcony offering limited privacy due to its direct view into the neighboring bedroom—this was a significant oversight in design. Furthermore, the wall insulation left much to be desired as the sound from televisions and conversations in adjoining rooms infiltrated mine well into the night, disrupting my peace and rest. It is not without merit to mention that the staff's professionalism and the quality of the breakfast were of high standard; both were indeed outstanding. Despite these positive attributes, the fundamental issues with the room itself compel me to seek alternative accommodations in the future.

I booked this hotel, when my partner arrived they wouldn't allow her to check in because my name was on booking (as well as hers). I was in hospital for surgery and instead of allowing me to confirm my identity over the phone they made me book again under her name as primary guest otherwise she had to move hotel after she had just been travelling for hours from flights. This means I had to pay twice for this hotel because they simply wouldn't confirm a secondary guest to check in even though I could verify all details of the booking. Really this is poor service for such an expensive and high quality hotel. So the choice was send my partner to another hotel who was tired and sick at the time or pay again to allow her to rest. Ultimately it might be a nice hotel but that's a poor policy. Very poor service for a simple name change.

I am truly happy that my favorite hotel of all time is finally open. After all these closed-out because of the horrible pandemic, it was a blessing to be able to stay at this wonderful property again. With this comeback, the Peninsula has adapted and modified their activities, programs and services. Wellness schedules and fitness programs are provided which are complementary and charged. Professional certified trainers are fully ready to teach, assist and advise. I enjoyed my stay here with offered activities, my most comfortable room and dreamy river view. Also, the staff here are hardly missed to mention. They are spontaneous, warming, helpful and welcoming. It was like I had come back home after a long day. Another impression of this relaxing stay is choices of healthy foods and beverages. The breakfast at the Peninsula really made my day. My breakfast here started with a delicious healthy drink and my rainbow salad plate. There are a variety of fresh fruits, kinds of vegetables, grains and plant-based milk. Freshly cooked eggs and tasty homemade sausages are also prepared for every guest. Also I relished with a palatable Indian corner. The samosa here are filled with spice, flavors and aroma. It was crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Pastries here are also freshly baked with quality ingredients. Gluten-free bakeries are as yummy and tasteful. I am fully charged and ready to head back to my ordinary life but a little sad to leave this wonderful haven. I surely will come back again and look forward to this heavenly escape and delightful experience.

Room in classic style. Despite quite old room but in very good condition. Good facilities especially swimming pool with many activities. Spa is very good. Gym is quite small with limited equipments. Breakfast is good with varieties. Lovely river view from hotel room. Offer round trip boat in schedule to icon Siam. Bedding is superb and very relaxing for a good sleep. Service sometime good sometimes worse especially communication between front and other departments which should be improved.

Traditional afternoon tea with champagne.... lovely experience in a beautiful setting Only minor niggles...serving staff mainly communicated via my Thai lady friend, which I found slightly off-putting. Also, my tea (Marco Polo from Bhutan...superb) was topped up more than once without checking if I wanted that to be done. Will look forward to returning in future and staying as a guest 🙏

Stayed there for one afternoon with the pool pass. Drinks and food were delicious and overall good value! Unfortunately as of July 2022 works are being done next door (on the weekend too) which affected the experience. Pool and spas are great though.

Awesome service! Never miss to take the shuttle boat to IconSiam. The Pool staffs are good service-minded. The pool may be long but not wide. They have 3 levels of pool. If you wanna seriously swim, I recommend to do in the highest pool. The lobby for check in and out is not large. They request 3000 Baht for deposit with credit card or cash. They are kind to provide birthday cake when I request for special occasion stay. You may not easily find plug for charging your device because they hide them. They are in the drawer by the bed and in the table by pushing the button. Their wellness section is so good. The gym may be be large but pleasant. They have sauna, steam, hot jacuzzi and cold plunge. Moreover, the infused water and some fruits like banana and apple are provided at the gate of locker room. If possibly you may walk in the front area that leads to the road to see big trees and garden which is close to the tennis court.

We stayed at the Peninsula for the first leg of our multi stop Anniversary trip - from arrival to departure they made us feel so welcomed and celebrated! We had breakfast, drinks, tea service and dinner all which exceeded expectations. Look no further, book your stay here!

It was really satisfying stay. Every staff here provided exceptional service. Especially, staff at pool made my day. Room was more spacious than I expected. Also, the view from the room was stunning all day. Shuttle service to Icom Siam was very convenient. (Every 30mins) Breakfast was good enough and lunch menu was also at reasonable price. I definitely consider staying here again for my next trip. ( I love their Christmas decoration as well🎄)

I spend about 2 weeks and came back again because of the first time amazing staying experiences here. There are lots of options for breakfast. Services are super fantastic. The view is superb from the top floor. The room service lady changes fruits everyday, and in the first day she prepared the hot tea for me which is really sweet. The shampoo, conditional products are pretty good. The bed softness is just right.

Great location, nice views of the river, great room, friendly staff. We got a nice upgrade to a 70 sq.m. grand deluxe suite that was superb. The only caveat to the overall experience was the a/v equipment in the room, I was finally not able to hook my external source to any of the 2 tvs. The bar area by the river looks fantastic and I can't wait to have a drink there. The boat service to all the nearby hotels and Iconsiam is super convenient. Highly recommended!

I think the hotel is really a very peaceful place. And it's very advanced. But the price is on the high side and it is not modern. But it is really comfortable to stay and has a retro feel. As soon as you enter the door, there are a kind of free Thai dishes for guests. The view is very good, the room has a triangular window, you can directly see the two sides of the river, very beautiful. If you have enough budget, it is highly recommended to try living for a day. This is the quietest large hotel I have ever seen

One of the best Hotel Experience in my life. The whole Building is a palace. The staff is wonderful. The interior is old school but absolutely high class and cozy. The restaurant with river view is just spectacular. But the absolut best of it is the view out of the rooms. The river and the whole city in front makes you speechless. If there were a chance to give 6 stars, I would give it to them.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel this past February 2023 and the service is astounding. My husband had several request and surprises for my birthday and they delivered!! At one point they called the room and pretended to need some info so my husband could surprise me with flowers. The food was good, the view was noteworthy, and the room was accommodating. We’ve stayed at the Waldorf in Thailand as well but the service at the Peninsula surpassed every 5 - star hotel we’ve stayed in thus far. We most definitely will be back as the experience is worth every penny!

Once in your life is not enough to stay at this hotel. One of the best hotel I have ever stayed. All staff is very friendly and helpful, this make us feel very warm and relax here. Swimming pool besides the river is one of the iconic here, wind flows the whole day. Dinner at the River Cafe & Terrace was very nice. Food menus are not much special but the ingredients and tastes are perfect. There are many classes for all guests to attend. We will be back again for sure.
