Service is top. From the moment you arrive and through all your stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and ready to listen. Rooms are well decorated, Thai style, feeling you are in Bangkok, but with the comfort of Marriott rooms. The only disadvantage is that the location is far from any tourist place or metro station. There are shuttles but they are very limited. They should run whenever you need it. Simpler hotels have it.

A morden and nice hotel, popular for business events and meetings. Very nice view and good location in downtown of Bangkok.

Bad service. Not 5-Stars. Don’t expect to sleep. The AC is as noisy as an airplane yet not good enough to cool down the room. On both nights we woke up at 7am from heat. Told the management about it, they didn’t seem to care. Above the bed you will have a flashing smoke detector because why not. The doors are insanely noisy, on a floor with 25-50 people you will be woken up by a beautiful concerto of door slamming at 8 in the morning. The blinds couldn’t close. The breakfast food tasted like cardboard, strongly recommend to not upgrade. Other than that the room is clean and renovated. But, I wouldn’t come back ever again.

The stay was absolutely amazing. The room was enormous and clean and the there is also an infinite pool with one of the best views to the city that you can imagine. The hotel is located in the center of the city so you will be very close to the markets, the cultural spots and to the river. Reserve a good time to take a breakfast which includes a big variety of all kinds of food and drinks. They provide almost every hot drink you wish, a variety of fresh juices, teas, coconut, a variety of soups,yogurts and hot meals. They have also an open kitchen were they will cook for you a lot of plates from omelete to egg Benedict as you wish.The basic ones (fruits, vegetables, bread, ham, cheese) I will not even mention. With no doubt it is a 5star accommodation and service.

Stunning hotel in Bangkok, highly recommended! Excellent value for money! Rooms are modern, clean and spacious! Breakfast is delicious and abundant. The M Lounge is limited in food options though and that’s a minus. After the working hours of the lounge the food service is non existent and they remove absolutely everything and just leave a few snacks that are not replenished. You don’t expect this for a top/premium lounge though and this should be reviewed. The hotel does not have a sauna which is another minus, only a steam room. The staff is very polite but they have serious difficulties understanding English. They say “yes to everything” but don’t really understand what you are talking about, it’s a shame. I would definitely be back to this hotel when in Bangkok.

Can’t say much more than what some of the other reviews are already covering. Immaculate service, the place is beautiful, and the rooms are luxury. The bathroom is pretty large, with Japanese style shower/bath tub set ups. The minibar in the room is reasonably priced considering, and the staff will help or assist you with pretty much anything you need. They brought us ice/waters several times no questions asked and they also helped us call several taxis within seconds of asking. I don’t think I opened one door myself the time I was there, they were on their A-game that day! The fitness center/gym is also very nice compared to most hotels. It’s on the larger side and has plenty of treadmills, bikes, machines, and free weights.

This Marriott property hit all the check marks. Greeted as soon as you get on the property and I liked it because it downtown and close to a lot of stores, restaurants and street food vendors. Breakfast was great and had a lot of options from local entrees to various other places too. The M Club served great food in the afternoon starting at 5:30 with drinks being made on the spot. Everything was self service and had a great view while you relaxed. It does get pretty busy at the M club in the evening time so get there early or wait a little later. It’s open all day with snacks too.

My company arranged 2 days meeting here, I could say this is one of the best hotel in Bangkok. Their service was a top-notch, they also put our company’s logo in the item of coffee breaks which impressed us so much! Their food tasted fantastic. I recommend this to all of you!!! Great job!

Good breakfast spread @ Phaya Kitchen. Really good Chinese restaurant Yao. Great pool with a view. Nice M Club. The rest is typical City hotel, staff a bit cold. No recognition for BonVoyED status. Don't forget to check out the rooftop bar, Nice view and settings, services need to be more friendly

We had booked a time for us to be at the spa on Sunday and had gotten the price and everything and then when we show up today (Tuesday) to actually use the spa and pool then we were denied at the reception! It's not so much that we didn't get to use the pool but that we had planned our last day in Bangkok with going here and now this day is just out the window cause we don't have time for anything else! Thanks very much Marriott!

Awesome place to chill and decompress at. My friend recommended this hotel as the best in Bangkok at 60% of the price of the other high end hotels and he was totally right! It’s not near the nightclubs or bars which I personally prefer, so I’ve just been loving chilling at the rooftop pool and taking baths in the nice bathroom. I generally don’t like continental breakfast, but it was very good here. There’s also Indian, Japanese and Chinese breakfast foods if that’s more your thing. The freshly prepared whipped omelette was my fav, and the rosette was excellent. Oh, also the guava juice. 11/10 would stay here again

The room is spacious and clean. You can enjoy the spectacular view and tasty breakfast at club lounge. However, there is an hygiene issue in the lounge.I noticed some leftovers on the floor at two tables. No one cleans the floor and table even though there are staff running around. It is so bizarre.

An excellent Marriott Hotel that is beautifully decorated and with professional and fast service by the staff. Rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Showers are great. The pool is excellent with a great view of the city. Plenty of amenities including multiple dining options and a spa/fitness center. Great value for what you get. The staff also knew it was our honeymoon and left us a welcome gift when we entered our room which was very thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location! We were able to walk or take a short taxi ride to places. The staff were amazing! Everyone was so nice and attentive. The breakfast had so many options and everything taste great. The rooms were clean and had a good view. The pool had an amazing view. Rooftop bar had good vibes. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

All around great experiences, we stayed for two nights upon arriving to Thailand and made use of the gym and pool each morning which we practically had to ourselves. The M Lounge had fantastic food, drinks, and top notch service. The staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for getting around the city or close by attractions to where we were going. Highly recommend!

One of Bangkok's finest offerings when it comes to hotels. Rooms are extremely well-appointed and tastefully designed, staff are attentive and helpful throughout, the infinity pool boasts one of the best views on the city and Phraya Kitchen serves up some excellent fare, all at a great, value-for-money price. Five stars all round.

Coming from Europe this Hotel was perfect for us to spend a night before flying to Krabi. The view and top floor pool are phenomenal. Especially by night. Marriott Club is excellent and located on the top floor as well. Pool and view are better than W Hotel. I also got upgraded with my Titanium Status without using my suite upgrade while at the W no room upgrade was available and with using my room upgrade. I do love the W vibe and room, but this marriott has a better pool and outdoor space.

I really loved this hotel. Great room. Lovely pool. I loved the location right near a morning market. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star is that my shower would not get warm and when I reported it, it wasn't attended to before I left. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The look from the outside, this Hotel building is just an ordinary building, like an office building, but inside, I didn't expect this hotel has such a beautiful garden; it is the best venue to have an open-air garden party. Marriott Surawongse is famous for the infinity pool on social media, but the garden has melted my heart. The ground floor can host indoor and outdoor events; the second floor is private rooms connected to the breakfast venue. The third floor is the open air, I love it so much. Deluxe King Room is excellent and cozy, but not too spacious, but it's okay. We were mainly out for shopping and sightseeing. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of food options to choose from, and the venue is beautiful; the ambiance was excellent, with hip design and surrounding with beautiful paintings on the wall. What makes me rate four stars instead of 5 stars is because : -The toothbrush is an empty box, so I have to call for the toothbrush. The toothbrush is low quality, and after one use, the brush is damaged. I throw it away after use, and I expect to replace it with the new one. But, it didn't happen, so I have to call again in the evening for the new toothbrush. My conclusion is the housekeeping lacking of eye detail or has no clear SOP for them. -The pool is small with a cozy lounge, is like a boutique style. I like it so much, I feel so relaxed and can enjoy my lazy time. But only one person in the swimming pool bar, and no acknowledgment when I enter the premises. No approach for the services, so I change my mind, not to order a drink. As the five stars hotel and is Marriott Hotel, I expect to get better services and at least a bottle of mineral water in the pool.

I was impressed by just about everything at the Marriott Surawongse. Staff are excellent, with the usual Thai charm and courtesy, but they go a step beyond. When you get out of a taxi cab, a staff member follows shortly behind to look inside and make sure you haven't forgotten anything. The location isn't the absolute most convenient, but it's a great part of Bangkok, still, and a bit quieter than central downtown, which I appreciated. And if you need to venture out, the hotel shuttle can drop you at the nearest BTS station. Say hi to Ball, the very friendly shuttle driver. I wish I remembered more people's names to mention, but suffice to say everyone from the front door, the front desk, housekeeping, breakfast buffet staff, and room service were all excellent. It was genuinely hard to leave. Stay a few nights and treat the staff with the same respect they give guests. You won't regret it.

Electrical fixtures service was extremely efficient. Two power sockets in the room cannot work properly during usage of appliance. Left a notice to housekeeper and then out for supper. When back to room, those socket seemed as usual but work in full function than I thought they might take longer to be repaired. Breakfast offers coffee of today, my favorite is ice-cold coffee infused fresh coconut water, which perfect matched with salmon egg benedict. Qualities of facilities in gym were excellent so that it’s always busy in mornings. Water temperature in swimming pool was cozy. Certainly panorama cityscape viewing from the sky pool can’t be missed.

First time in Bangkok, my family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here! From the moment you walk in Concierge (shout out to Chang!) is helping you out with bags and the receptionists are excellent and helpful! My favorite of it all was the infinity pool, due to its relative central location, from the pool you could see the highways, other nearby hotels, and the busy bustling streets. Pool bar side service was quick and friendly! Would definitely come again!

The hotel was more the excellent. Staff, the building, the facilites and amenities. But the best of all was the breakfast buffet at Praya Kitchen. One of the best breakfasts buffets I have ever been to. A big thank you to the staff for making Marriott superior in many many details.

Stayed here for one night during a very short trip to Bangkok recently. I was absolutely in awe of everything this hotel had to offer. From the modern and traditional designs, to the impeccable service from staff, this hotel is a must try whether you are in Bangkok for business or for leisure. The hotel's location is also very convenient with many shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Definitely great value for money and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bangkok luxuriously.

Excellent service. Beautifully appointed rooms. Executive lounge excellent (different cuisine each day). Buffet breakfast is among the best in Bangkok. Had a wonderful view of Mananakhon Tower. Only hesitation next time is location. Depending on purpose of stay. Close to jewelry and gem centers. Check your itinerary to see if hotel is a fit.

I was really impressed and happy with my first stay here. The hotel is really beautiful and great design. Positives were: Amazing room (I was upgraded to suite which was so good!). Really modern design and everything looks brand new. Buffet breakfast was great, you could never get bored with the variety The pool is really nice design, amazing city views as can be seen in the photos Friendly and welcoming staff all around the hotel Gym, SPA and changing room facilities located on the same floor as the pool Pool bar offers great refreshments The only negative or improvement suggestion would be that the gym was a little small for me and missing key equipment. It should include Smith machine, barbell, plate weights for example. This would really finish off the gym. Overall though 5* stay and I will be staying again for sure!

I just had possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Bangkok. Although the Marriott Surawong looks like any other hotel buffet, everything is done at an extremely high level. The juice, the toast, the bacon and sausage — all excellent. The young man who made my eggs used classic French technique — removing the pan from the heat and then returning it to make sure they cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious! Whoever trained him did an incredible job! A++++

Booked 3 nights over New Years and planned to see the fireworks from their rooftop bar. Went up there at 11:30pm and was told we needed reservations and had to leave. How about the Marriott letting the guests know at any point during check-in that reservations are needed for their "bar". Put up some signs around the hotel about making reservations or flyers or something...literally zero news about it. First bar in my life I needed reservations for. Missed every single firework. Otherwise, it would've been a stellar stay, so don't let this review deter you, just wanted to hit them with a single star. F this place in 2022 and beyond.

I stayed here twice recently. They upgraded me to an M suite due to my Marriott Ambassador Status. The room was spacious, modern, and always properly cleaned. Staff is very friendly, and responsive in mobile chat. Breakfast is amazing, one of the best in Bangkok. The infinity pool is more than gorgeous. Two downsides, that makes me give it four out of 5 stars only: The gym only has very few (3-4) machines for the upper body, dumbells are only till 22Kilograms, and the hotel only has one steam room, which sadly needs 30 minutes to get warmed up. This is what could get improved from my perspective.

The hotel is great! We stayed at the Marriott for 4 nights with our 2 kids. The room, or should I say, the apparent was very spacious and equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing with a stunning view to the city both day and night. The breakfast had a large variety of food and beverages. I think there were more options from the Asian kitchen but also a good number of more traditional options such as eggs and pastry. The staff was very helpful and polite. On the top floor there is a bar with really nice views of the city. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend the hotel

My new most favorite Marriot Hotel. Why? 1. The team are very welcoming and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and convenient. 2. Executive floor access has stunning views, super friendly team to greet and serve. Not to mention the best food I've had at any executive lounge 3. Breakfast amazing 4. Sunday brunch amazing. 5. Infinity pool is stunning and also has surprisingly delicious food. The only criticism I have is that the pool chairs are a bit stained and dirty. Would love to see these be replaced more frequently just to be more comfortable at the pool. It's not too expensive either. I have extended my stay three times, unfortunately I must leave in a few days but I will miss this hotel and can't wait to return. Well done team! Amazing stay!

We stayed for 3 nights. Everything, from service to room cleanliness, was superb. Our room had a nice view, the pool is amazing, and the breakfast was great. A special shout out to Mary and Bank in the M Club for making us comfortable. For me, the only negative was the location. We needed to take a taxi to most city attractions. Highly recommend visiting Iconsiam while in the city.
