2022 update. Adding a star as the lighting has improved and the price is quite good compared to other hotels with similar location, room size, and comfort. Buffet breakfast is back in operation and not bad. Large hotel in an excellent location less than 1 minute walk from Sukhumvit pros - The location is excellent if you want to stay in the Sukhumvit area. Phrom Phong BTS station is close by and there are many restaurants nearby, especially Japanese. The bed was comfortable and having a laundry machine in the room was useful. The restaurant and bar looks nice but I never saw any customers and didn't try it. There is parking available. The price is pretty good at $40/night but I don't recommend paying more than that unless they turn up the lights (see cons). cons - hallways are very dimly lit. Bathroom also very dim, to the point it was hard to shave. The laundry machine supposedly also acts as a dryer, but I couldn't get it to work. TV was not working at first, and after fixing it it had 8 channels, mostly in Japanese with poor image quality. The swimming pool had no lounge chairs and overall didn't look like a place you'd want to hang out.

Arize Hotel, Bangkok: A Deplorable Nightmare of Incompetence and Insolence Review: Arize Hotel in Bangkok was an absolute disaster. The reception staff displayed a shocking level of apathy and rudeness, treating guests as mere inconveniences. The room design was utterly stupid, showcasing a complete lack of taste and functionality. This place has zero standards and fails miserably at providing even basic services. Avoid this dump at all costs!

The room appartment was very nice. Breakfast ok, pool & gym reasonable for the price. All you need is nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Pricewise? I think its a good option, we booked here an one suite bedroom appartment. The appartment looks okΓ©, it isn't fancy, but it was clean and tidy. In both rooms there are televions. There is a washingmachine, which also suppose to dry, but it doesn't work. It wasn't drying any of our clothes. The housekeeping did a good job, when something needs to be fixed, they come immediately and fix the problem! We didn't try the breakfast. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The location is amazing! Its just arround the corner, from the mainstreet.

Good location, value for money. Not the cleanest, but it's spacious and the staff service are quite good. If you don't stay inside the hotel for long, this is a spacious and value for money location.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room were nice and clean. Excellent location easy to get around with taxi motor bike and close to the BTS station plus a short walk to the malls. The service is great. Japanese breakfast available and they were quite good. For the price you get a really good hotel with The nice neighborhood, lots of trees, Japanese restaurants and also street food Michelin noodle place just outside the hotel. I love this place would definitely come back and stay here again when I’m in Bangkok.

Me and my family stayed here for 4 days. Rooms were clean enough, the washing machine was malfunctioned, toilet stuffs (toothbrushes, toothpaste,...) were missing. Breakfasts were bought separatedly and were terrible for the price, foods are cold, in stock, not tasty, even fried eggs took long time to deliver. Hotel location is near Bangkok center, there's eQuartier and eQuarium right there to go shopping. Easy to go to the SkyTrain and get to Siam, shopping malls, temples,... but the street is always stuck in crowded hours (4-6pm) The staffs are really nice to us, they showed us where and how to go in Bangkok.

Consider abit expensive for 4days 3 nights stayed in family rooms for 4. Comes with washing machine dryer and dishwasher. Good to have but not much useful as it's abit smelly even after clean wash. Enter rooms there's a stench of smell maybe from previous stayers 😷 Toiletries a bit too stingy like shampoo and shower gel. No shaver. Luckily staffs were friendly and helpful with airport transfer service. Breakfast included in the package. Food quite a lot of choices but all similar. Can consider this hotel if family with children. πŸ‘

Booked a two room suite, room card couldn't tap in, oven spoil, tv spoil and washing machine dryer function not working. The whole hotel is indeed v energy saving. Whole hotel including lobby, corridor and even the entire suite is dimly lit. Overall a 3 star hotel max.

The room is amazing. A lot of modern amenities. The only downside would be the bathroom floor was a bit tilted so some water on the bathroom floor was not able to go down the drain on the corner of the room. But aside from that, the breakfast was good. The staff were excellent and the small pool is a good place to take photos.

Really bad service. Staff cannot handle problem. I was wait around 1 and a half hour to check in and someone in front of me went to the room and guest still there in the room which is really not make sense. After me more than 15 people wait in the line to check in also.

When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised- the rooms were basic but quite nice and clean, and great location. All the staff are extremely friendly The AC in my room didn’t get very cold and was leaking water a bit- the shower also would run down the bath and soak the bathroom floor. However I still considered it fair value for money and I found a way myself to avoid soaking the floor when showering However on my second night, I was woken up at 2am by loud noises, and slamming doors. The people in the room opposite were having a party, shouting very loudly and smoking weed - I had to call the front desk to ask them to fix it but nothing changed. Eventually at 4am I had to call the room myself to ask them to be quiet. It got a little bit better but then continued until 5am, with weed smell getting stronger After they left I thought I could sleep but then starting hearing slamming doors and banging around from other rooms. I realised after it was the cleaning staff starting to clean rooms but not being quiet - doors left open were beeping constantly In total I feel sad to say since everyone was so friendly but would not recommend staying here. Unless maybe you are looking for a place to stay after partying

Arize Hotel Sukhumvit is where I stayed in Bangkok. It's an excellent hotel with a great location. The room service and especially the breakfast were outstanding. I stayed here for a whole week, and I would rate this hotel and its staff a perfect 10 out of 10.

The room was dusty. The bathroom was okay. The equipment was not too clean. The bedroom was not too comfy. Food was good.

This is one of the best hotel you can find in Sukhumvit area. Its walkable from Phrom Phong BTS and very near to restaurants. The rooms are quite spacious. Their one bedroom suite is the best, if you are traveling with family. They have restaurant where good quality food is served by good chefs.
