The art gallery is amazing and there is large space to explore. It has 9 floors. There is an escalator connecting from floor to floor. Each floor has different painting styles (Classic, Pop art, Modernism, Abstract, …) and the building itself is very interesting and unique. I visited there during weekday so it doesn’t crowded. This place is worth a visit and i don’t mind if the entrance fee is charged.

An exhibition gallery with different exhibitions on each floor. It is closed on Mondays, and there is NO ENTRY FEE. The Architecture of the building is impressive. There is a large spherical atrium at the centre connecting the adjacent floors and visually connecting the whole exhibition areas. The building is connected to the skywalk for ease of access to the sky train or BTS. Each floor has cafes, gifts, and souvenir shops. There are artworks from various artists working with different media.

It's a very arty and creative center. I got there by the BTS and it was super convenient. They opened quite late so I waited outside at the skywalk which was another creative place to see. Inside, there were small stalls to buy stuff such as books, post cards, bags, etc and they were all super cute. The exhibitions inside were super impressive and all of them were in different styles. The war and natural disasters exhibition made me cry. The journalist who took those pictures was very brave to travel everywhere, into dangerous zones to show the world the hard truth about humanity.

Spending your times here is not bad for relaxing and enjoying with photography arts. Although I am not artist, when I visited here and I realized the differences of the awarded art compared to another one. If you have opportunity to visit this beautiful place personally, yeah, it would be better than what you are seeing in taken photos below for sure. Anyway, it is recommended to whom may like the art especially. Thanks a lot for reading this review. Note that entering without fee. In case, they don't allow you to visit the art exhibition zone with your bag or backpack and so on. That is, you are needed to use the rocker service about 20B-30B for saving your own backpack.

The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre is a dynamic hub showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions. Its contemporary architecture complements the innovative exhibits within. With a commitment to fostering creativity, it serves as a cultural focal point. While some areas may benefit from additional maintenance, the overall impact as a creative space is significant. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just seeking cultural exploration, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre offers a compelling journey through Thailand's vibrant artistic landscape.

Free entry to a great gallery just across from MBK in the heart of the capital. Laid out over 7 floors in a circular walk with escalators to each floor. A mixture of artists work both classical style and modern into futuristic. Well worth a visit to not only see the paintings but visit a number of craft shops as well . Currently it is also housing an environmental exhibition relating to sea pollution and displaying art work and sculptures by a number of different artists and sculptures.

A complete art center. It consists of 8 floors and includes many small personal galleries as well as a large main gallery. A building with modern architecture where different works are exhibited. There are small workshops and cafes inside. They have options and places to shop. Toilets are clean and well-maintained. You can contribute to collective works with your own hands.

A local gem! Wish every city had a building like this!! Love, love, loved our time here in this stunning building that truly represents Thailand’s commitment to art and culture. 9 floors of air-conditioned comfort to explore alternating art exhibits, buy funky local-made crafts and/or enjoy affordable food. We spent 2.5 hours here and thoroughly enjoyed our 55Baht bowl of soup as well! Highly recommended!

It was very enjoyable and educational to visit the BACC. We were so lucky to join a music concert held for an hour which was fascinating. You got a lot to see on each floor as there are different exhibitions for photos, paintings and sculptures. The architecture design of BACC is also worth paying attention. There are many cafes and stores as well so you can Shiah’s get a drink and enjoy the vibe. BACC is definitely worth spending a day to finish exploring all the halls and exhibitions. Entrance fee: Free Time spent: 6 hours

When I went, the main exhibit was the winners of a national painting contest. It was exactly what I hoped to see in my heart of hearts - contemporary (but not conceptual) work from talented local artists with amazing local flavor, traditional art influence and meticulous technique and skill. I couldn’t have hoped for a better exhibit, wow! I am not sure what is usually displayed in this museum but I got very lucky to see the show I did. On another floor, there was a charming botanical illustration exhibit. And on another floor, there were various artisans selling handmade wares from jewelry to lotions & candles and clothing. I would love to come here again for another exhibit.

The art was ok & culture elements were good. One series caught my attention it was a minimalist art style. Every floor has cafes & shops filled with local foods & cultural trinkets. Nearby there is also 2 massive malls and the train station. So definitely an area with much to do.

The art gallery here is great, no entrance fee and there is a large gallery to walk through. They have lots of different painting styles, exhibits, and mediums to check out. The building itself has a very interesting design, I would definitely recommend. The place is clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is AC and usually not very busy.

The Bangkok Art & Culture Center is only walking distance from Siam Square / Paragon and is free to enter. There are multiple floors with some cafe's and some shops with postcards, accessories, souvenirs, and gifts! These were some of the best art cards and decorations for sale too. Unfortunately, we only had a short amount of time to explore the area. I recommend going here for the art and for the souvenirs you can find.

One of the beautiful attractive sites in Bangkok. Free visit. Many art exhibitions, coffee shops, and restaurants in the very beautiful building with many parking lots. Its location is really nice surrounded with other attractive sites, near the BTS sky train station, and bus stop. Easily accessible for everyone including wheelchair users and elders. Very warm welcome and great hospitality from all staff. So impressive!

This is a nice place to visit if you like to browse art galleries. It's free to enter but sometimes they'll have a special exhibit and then you might have to pay to access the upper floors. Worth checking out.

It's free of charge and easily accessible by BTS. It's located opposite MBK centre. It has lots beautiful paintings, art work, cinema, cafe and artcrafts shops if you want to buy a gift or something for yourself. I went to the museum and enjoyed very much and as soon I get an opportunity I will visit it again.

I have little knowledge about what art is but for a newbie me, this is A great place to appreciate arts. There's a small art library at the basement floor, a great place to stay for a while reading and emerse into the world of art. I could spent long hours here especially the cafe that serve some simple meals and drinks, although they don't seems enthusiastic to do business. The drinks are alright but recommend to have a nice meal at nearby MBK center before coming here.

It was an amazing place to go if you like art galleries. There were even shops inside that sold numerous things. I got myself a bucket hat made by a local brand. The layout had you walk in circles to the next floors up so it was easy to navigate. Would go again!

Great place to spend an hour or two when it's raining or too hot outside. The exhibitions vary in quality, but there are some interesting pieces and the building itself is worth a look. Best of all, it's free entry so you can just pop in and see if it's for you.

Surprisingly a really entertaining building that we got like 2.5 hours worth of experiences from. There are some really neat stores in the building situated between studio spaces that the public can look at — and even contribute to. The exhibitions themselves were OK. The special exhibition at the top featured iPhone photos taken on the princess of Vietnam’s phone. It was a little strange that these really average photos were an exhibit but it was kind of cute in a way. The other exhibit was kind of forgettable. BUT the absolute best part of the centre was the beautiful room of these stunning vibrant paintings. It said something about uniting generations and it was really good.

Located in a very busy intersection where many shopping centers located, the bacc is a good get away from shopping spree where you can spend a few hours quietly enjoy the local art of local artists. Most of the exhibits are usually free of charge as well, plenty of clean wc for tourists, a few coffee shops to sit and relax from bkk heat and chaotic.

I would recommend to visit this place not for art, but for the building itself. In case you stay in Bangkok for a long time. Because if you came for art itself you should probably choose another gallery or so. As things turned out this place is more for hang out and taking pictures on the stairs then for art itself. The building itself is stunning:)

Beautiful. Vibrant with so many young people. They had a few events going on, so we did not check out all of the galleries. You can walk in for free and see some things displayed along the building. The shops are cute and artsy. I loved seeing artworks by young thai people getting a lot of space.

It more resembles the City Hall of Art and Free Activity which each level represents the hierarchy of Bangkok's art culture. It hosts the show of street art without sponsorship to the great artist with total support. It is home to contemporary art and cultural activity. The building is a little old because of weak government support, but a lot of the program is still in place here.

Never thought I would be into art but this exhibition proved me wrong. This time was centered around the nature of relationships, a retrospective exhibition and "endless giving", a whit elephant award exhibition. Most of the pieces had really deep meanings behind them and it was a glimpse into the artists' mind/perspective. Noting the differences between my initial perception of the art vs the artists' intentions was both eye opening and thought provoking. I look forward to heading to more exhibitions. Will come back the next time I'm in Bangkok.

This place is worth the detour, free entry. Free toilets. You will find a set of art galleries on several floors. (Classical, Pop art, Modernism, Abstract, etc…) there are not too many people, it is also a place where you will find a dozen small restaurants at very reasonable prices.

A really beautiful art/cultural space with free admission to view the exhibits which are primarily on the 9th, 8th, & 7th floors. There was a great mix of contemporary pieces from Thai artist as well as some traditional Thai art style. There is also many boutique shops and treat spots that you can stop in and visit. Aside from the art the architecture of the space is really impressive as well and great for photos. The space also features an auditorium and a theater I believe. You can access the Art & Culture Center right outside of exit 3 at the National Stadium stop of the BTS.

Cultural Gem in the Heart of Bangkok: Bangkok Art and Culture Centre 🎨🌆 Bangkok Art and Culture Centre is an absolute must-visit for art lovers and culture seekers! With its impressive array of contemporary art, it's a refreshing break from the bustling city. Each floor brings a new surprise, from intriguing exhibitions to quaint little art shops. The café on the ground floor is perfect for a relaxing coffee after exploring. While it's a fantastic place for art enthusiasts, be prepared for a mix of experiences as exhibits change regularly. A cultural oasis in the heart of Bangkok! 🖼️☕

Best Art center in Bangkok. Place for a coffee, eat something and discover something new. Many shops inside where to find special books, arts, colors, paint, crafts and much more. Not forget to visit Sea Junction, they always have exhibitions and a wonderful collection of Asian books and books about Asia.

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC; Thai: หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร) is a contemporary arts centre in Bangkok, Thailand. Art, music, theatre, film, design and cultural/educational events take place in its exhibition and performance spaces. The centre includes cafes, commercial art galleries, bookshops, craft shops, and an art library. It is intended as a venue for cultural exchange, giving Bangkok an operational base on the international art scene.

My friend recommended visiting the Bangkok Art and Cultural Center and it's very cool! The building design is edgy and flexible. I wandered around for a couple of hours and there's easily an afternoon's worth of looking around. They showcase many different forms of local arts and crafts, as well as having many different vendors and cafes to visit as well. I am not a very creative person but I enjoyed my time here. You can easily begin feeling creative or join in some of the fun activities if you want to.

A temporary art centre located in the city of Bangkok, next to the big shopping malls and easily accessible from the National Stadium BTS station. The centre also has an underground parking lot for those who came by their personal car. It is a great place to enjoy the art with free entrance. It includes music, art, theatre, film, design, and cultural or educational events that were used as exhibitions and performances. The exhibition displays artists' work in different themes depending on which time of the year or month you visit. There are nine different floors that you could explore, there is an exhibition hall on the sixth floor and above. We get to observe different artworks as we travel to another floor and the place is very quiet. The building itself is a very open space with high ceilings and a gigantic circular stair to walk up. Quite tiring to walk the way up to the top floor with these stairs but they also have lift and another small stair available. There also nearby shops include commercial art galleries, bookshop, craftstore, library and cafes to sit. These shops sell things quite expensive more than the outside cause of the rental payment. Recommend to not carry too many things with you because you have to pay an additional price for the lockers to keep your stuff in.

Have no idea what are the arts and culture items. The lower few floors were simply Lennon wall, a few shops and cafes. The upper floor I ain’t sure about what’s being exhibited because I had given up by the time I reached the entrance. However, being just next to the BTS National Stadium, and the few coffee places did not have many customers, it’s good for a stop over for some quiet time at the cafes.

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre is art gallery. They have exhibitions that are constantly changing over time so you can visit many times. Try to check every floor so you won't miss the exhibitions that are in different rooms or you can check the information from the Facebook page. This place is at the city center and near BTS so you can go there easily and you also can get in for free. There are many works of art from many Thai artists. It's good for walk around and take a picture. And there also have the souvenir shop that foreign tourists can buy and coffee shop where you can sit and relax. Everyone can visit here. I visited there many times with my friends. It's good place to go hang out and I like to exchanges the ideas of the art with my friends. And we can continue go to the shopping mall near by.

The interior architecture is worth the visit on its own. There are several cafes in case you need to take a little break from viewing exhibits. Easy access from the BTS Sky Train National Stadium and walkable from the Siam area shopping malls too. Be sure to add this stop to your bucket list if you get to Bangkok.

Wide selection of exhibits, art and craft stores, and cafes. If you feel like there's not enough, you can always go to MBK Center which is right across the road. I enjoyed the exhibits in February 2022. It is a bit awkward to go on your own though because everyone goes there in groups of 2 or more.

The exhibitions keep on changing and the quality of art is amazing always. Good coffee and art shops as well. If you’re carrying a big bag - you’ll have to store it in a locker to access 5th floor and above. Easily accessible - connected to BTS National Stadium

This is an excellent place to explore Thailand's art. Entry is free. You'll discover about a dozen different displays on show at any given time. The exhibitions are located over several levels. Backpacks can't be taken to the top few floors - a security guard oversees this process near the escalator. There are lifts located inside the facility. The building is very clean and has some shops located inside. The air conditioning is excellent. The toilets inside this building are very clean.

Amazing and FREE place. I'd wandered in here years ago before I had any museum or art gallery experience. In America you would be charged $40 admission for a place like this but in Bangkok it has free admission. Go go go.

Love this place! Definitely adds in magic to my trip in Bangkok. The architect and intentionally design function space give visitors a welcoming and excited vibe. Saw many graduate taking pictures near the top of the building. Really love to see arts and culture at the heart of downtown Bangkok. Absolutely worth a visit💯

Not as interesting as I expected. There are some art works but not enough, it’s a big place but only small part is used. There are many chairs available so u can sit and rest. I m impressed with the prayer room (although it’s very small, maximum 2 people). There are some cafes and shops here as well Free Entry, tickets not needed.

A lovely space for artists to exhibit their works. We missed the Bangkok Art Bienele but it was good to see some young Thai artists have their own exhibition. Lovely works. Each level of the building has retail shops and cafes. During weekends, Tony people do come here to hang out at the cafes or to walk around. It is great that the centre is drawing a good crowd. The gift shop is at the top floor.

Right in the center of Bangkok, the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre one of the best and oldest public galleries in Thailand. I have been going to this place since my school days and I am never disappointed when I go there. The exhibition changes often, some might last a month, some may last 4 months or so. It also houses events and seminars from time to time. It is a place where people can enjoy art, voice their concerns (for example: traditional ways of life disappearing, political protests), or just chill in air-conditioning. It’s a place where people also sell their artworks and the underground floor also has a library, the books are mostly related to art, architecture, and culture as the name suggests. It is also quite trendy, a lot of people enjoy taking pictures with the unique and minimalist architecture inside the building. If you would like to avoid crowd it would be wise to go there on weekdays (from Tuesday to Friday since it is closes on Mondays) before 4 pm since a lot of students would be there after class.

Lovely place for art lover. No entrance fee. They have lots of different painting styles. a lot of people enjoy taking pictures with the unique and minimalist architecture inside the building. I look forward to heading to more exhibitions. Will come back the next time I'm in Bangkok.

Love this art center for the fact that there isn't a permanent exhibition and that there are always interesting rotating arts to explore. There are also many cool shops to enjoy in each floor. And it's right in Siam Square area. So, very convenient to go anywhere or eat anything before/after the visit. This place is always at the top of the list when my foreign friends ask where to go when they are in Bangkok.

If you are visiting Bangkok and have some extra time to spare, this isn’t a bad place to do so. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit. There is a good amount of contemporary art with rotating exhibits. There are also a couple of cute shops and vendors selling their goods. There is no entrance fee but you do have to pay 30B to store your bag as they are not allowed in the exhibit.

Beautiful place, air-conditioned which is nice to get a break from the heat. Free entrance although I'm not sure if it is always like that. Before you go, check if there are any exhibitions. When I went there was only one exhibition so everything else was 'in reconstruction', but the architecture of the building is still beautiful in itself. Close to all the shopping malls so you might as well go after or before the shopping ;)

I enjoyed my time here. No need for tickets. The place has around 4 to 5 floors, filled with various paintings and cultural art activities. The story of the Thai elephants left an impression on me. There are many souvenir shops and stores selling art supplies for painting and other artistic activities.

This is a good place to visit when you travel to Bangkok. There are many styles of art vary from painting, sculpture to photography which will show you the Thailand people culture and traditional from the past last long to the current modern views. I was impressed mostly with the modern painting which show to me the young generations’s will and views, they are very open-minded but also very creative to the feeling of the society.

This was a super cool place! Its free!!! It’s so big and has lots of different exhibits and shops. It’s a nice place to escape the heat or rain and enjoy history and art! It is super close to the Siam mall as well so you can just walk across the sky bridge!

Worth to visit!!! If you ever drop by to Bangkok, just next to MBK there's Bangkok art and Culture centre with free entrance. Consist of 9th floor building in total and and unique design circle inside the building. It has also souvenir and coffee shop inside the building. Sometime they have exhibition on going and also for us to try some art set.

It’s a big modern structure , the actual museum gallery bit is on the upper floors from about 6-9. There are shops and small galleries on the lower levels. Looks very similar to the Guggenheim in New York on a smaller scale. Good contemporary Thailand based artists were on exhibit when we visited November .

I was there last weekend and enjoyed walking around. The building itself is beautiful with all the circular ramp walks Variety of exhibits, esp since the Bangkok theatre festival is going on.. will try and go again!

If you're in Bangkok and looking for doing things other than the 'usual', you can definitely check out BACC. They always have multiple exhibitions going on. And it's absolutely free! No tickets or anything. Just walk in.

Nice place to visit if you’re wandering around Siam area. Accessible from BTS Siam, you have MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon and all around you! Many exhibitions to see in the buildings. You will like it if you like to visit art galleries. I suggest to spend around 2-3 hours here!

Highly recommend visiting! Aside from the awesome architecture, of course, the art installations were amazing — at least when we visited (Nov 10, 2023). There are also stores on the lower floors, tho we didn’t check them out Entrance is free, lockers are also free, clean toilets on every floor, location is very convenient with an entrance from the skywalk. I can say it’s also PWD accessible as they had working elevators and ramps.

Absolutely inspiring art exhibits that we had the opportunity to see today including a photography series featuring all women and an all female artist exhibit. We loved walking through each level and visiting the little shops and cafes. There was a cute sustainability focused gift shop I got some herbal products at. Definitely worth the visit as it’s free admission and right off the National Monument BTS Skytrain. You can then go next door for shopping & food court area.

Nice experience, free entry for a varying number of exhibitions. We liked the young Thai artists exhibition and loved the illustration exhibition very much. So many talented young artists, everyone with a different illustration style. The coffee shops on the lower floors looked nice, next time I would try them, or even some of the food in the artsy restaurants.

Went this time to the Bangkok Illustration Fair 2023 on the 7th floor. This center is great for such events! It's cool and spacious. And there's always something happening! Whenever I am in Bangkok I visit this place. It's the place to find out what lives in cultural Thailand !

Located in the heart of Bangkok, near MBK Center, this art gallery is a hub for art exhibitions. It is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse oneself in the world of art. The gallery also has a seating area, as well as a variety of art-related shops and cafes.

I enjoyed the travel photography by the Thai Crown Princess on the top floor but the other exhibition, supposedly inspirational, didn't really inspire. One floor was closed as they get something else ready. A great pour over coffee place on the ground floor, along with various other food and shopping (several bookshops) options. Tickets not needed - it's free to enter.

👍👍 I give a shot at 5 am for dawn vibes, in the morning, they already opened, quite half of them. You can find food, has breakfast at 6 am, only on ground floor, the 1st floor (know as 2nd floor for thai people) is open around 10 am. It's common tradition thai market but the goods&ingredients are high...
