Very unique and fun art space and cafe. They have art workshops and activities for children. They also have some galleries upstairs. They sell books, ceramics, and have a cafe with tasty drinks as well. Boats come by on the canal and sell things from time to time. There is a large seating area downstairs where you can chill out. Nice spot for a rest while exploring old Bangkok.

I'd love to tell you more about Artist's House in Bangkok! It's a really unique place that's definitely worth a visit if you're interested in art. The house is actually an art gallery and a shop that sells unique handicrafts. You can also watch traditional Thai puppet shows there, which is really cool! The house is located right on the river, so you can enjoy some great views while you're there. And the best part is that the house is really peaceful, so you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you're looking for a great place to relax and enjoy some beautiful scenery, I'd definitely recommend checking out Artist's House.

One true "hidden" gem in Bangkok. Been lunching there for years. This place is definitely humblingly unique. Post - Covid it is now booming and they've added new activities (and houses). Sometimes they have shows by the padoga. Love the countryside vibe. Saying hello to the elderly as you pass in front of their doors...feeding the fish, waving to the tourists in long boats as they race through the klong... We used to eat right there on the bar with our feet hanging from above the klongs...special mention to Pa Noi (ป้าน้อย) at the coffee shop. She remembers me and I remember her well. We became friends.

I went to Bangluang Artist World today. There were many galleries and objects with a cute feeling. Thailand sometimes feels similar to Japan. I feel moved by the small artworks. There were also a lot of really big fish. The food at the small restaurant was very good. I wanted to make a bracelet too, but I ran out of time.

A definite must if you are in Bangkok! The Artist House is a creative space for all. Visit before 2 pm and make sure to grab a front row seat for the show! It gets packed quickly and there are few seatings. Although it is mostly in Thai, foreigners can appreciate the beauty of the arts, no matter the language. With the river surrounding it and plants everywhere you look, it’s a great place to enjoy and learn about Thai culture.

What an amazing house and excellent coffee. You can view the artists work and if you lucky get to watch them at their creative best. You can sip on your drink whilst watching boats pass by and you can feed the fish. Amazing!

It is a peaceful place close to the river, actually it is not a water market, more like the good place for inspired creative artists.

A cozy chilling place to relax your mind. They provide painting tools for painting and bracelet beads for DIY bracelet. Can enjoy inside the air-conditioning room or outside with the cannel view. Feel hungry? Can order snacks and drinks too! A good escape place from crowded Bangkok.

I really enjoyed my time here! Bought some craft supplies and created a couple of pretty post cards to send back home from the selection they had on offer. The cafe had an extremely relaxed vibe and they offered activities such as necklace making and watercolour painting. Would definitely come back even though it is a little out of the way 😊🎨

Nice location. Cafe located right along the river. And, there is pagoda inside the cafe. It's amazing. Lot of activities of art to do. Very good for kids and whoever wanna chill. Anyhow, there is no food to order. Only light Thai snack and drinks available, and the taste wasn't that good just okay.

This place has very chill vibes. In this place you can buy paintings, pictures, ceramics made by hand. I bought one painting to support local. They has really good coffee and you don't hear noise of the city. To get this place you need a boat, so we took some tour de canal and this place was one of the stops. There were no tourists at all at the moment 15.4.2022 around 14:00. I really enjoyed this place.

This is the most relaxing local tourist attraction I've ever been to. Nonetheless, I was surprised to see tour groups here. It gets crowded on weekends, but it looks wide enough for everyone. My advice is to have a meal at the first shops once you enter because the price is much cheaper and the service and staff are excellent. Additionally, you better come by motorcycle or public transport because the place is located in a small alley and there isn't much space for parking. There are some activities you can do here: drawing and painting, making DIY accessories, boat riding, and so on.

Not easy to access but definitely a place well worth a visit. The art house is perfect little coffee shop which will let you experience what life is like to live on the river. Grab a coffee and watch the boats and people go by in what can be described as a total chilled out environment. Try to visit when the puppet show is on as well.

I went to do soap workshop here. It was a nice place to just sit and chill. This village is cozy on its own and this cafe is a must place to go. The sugarcane+tea is very creative and delicious menu.

A 20 minute drive from Bangkok centre (on a good day) its a great little escape from the hustle and bustle. A few Wat’s around to explore as well. Authentic shops and food served on the waterfront. Get dropped off at Khlong Bang Luang spot and walk along the riverfront and between the houses to find Baan Silapin. A really quiet and local haven! @spiffingtravels

The artist house is a few minutes walk from the BTS station. Although the market isn’t as busy as the other ones, it is somewhat special to see all the arts in this area. Also the chickens are worth it to check out

Where the magic happens. Where art meets life.. Sundays are entrusted by the gentle bird calls..a breeze blowing..the slow conversations.. a dancer practicing for a 2pm show (on Sunday ) a feeding frenzy in the water where someone is feeding fish.. art for sale .. coffee tea and small confections too...about a 10 minute walk from MRT Bhang Phai .. no entrance fees.. casual.. rustic..bohemian the Thai way.. charming and quaint.

I give a comment on the overall neighbori g area of the artist's house rather than specifically for itself. It's a nice and friendly ambiance, staying and blending with locals. You can enjoy visiting place, feeding fishes, taking coffee, doing some DIY and reading nearby the klong (canal). One thing to request for your consideration is to respect local people and culture, they will also need quiet place as they live there. Keep the place clean. There are also 2 local temples both sides of the area, so I do encourage to dress properly if you want to enter and visit. Many handmade/crafts/ arts by locals are available to promote too. Upstairs of the Artist's house, there is art gallery and spcae for drwaing and paintig as well. So, please take off your shoes before you enter to each house or shop or temple as usual.

I do really love this place with all my heart. But it’s not the same as before anymore. Went there on Saturday to see the puppet show but turned out the House is now a workshop place where people gather to do craft activities (we did bracelets). It’s still a lovely place I recommend to go. It was crowded on the weekend but I don’t know during the week. And the puppet show is now done in the temple next to the House (on the weekend around 2-3pm), please go watch it when you are in Bangkok!

The place is nice for your first date or getting together with friends. Due to Covid, many art activities are closed, however, you still can enjoy the cafe, DIY bracelet and their art gallery on the 2nd floor. The place offers Kon la krueng (คนละครึ่ง) as well.

There are FREE shows all season. The Thai small puppets show was about Thai liturature performing by 3 persons each puppet character. The show will perform in Thai language but the brief story will be explain in english before the show (I guarantee that it is easily to enjoy). This place is also the school that continuing teach new generation to be puppeteer to conserve this art.

One of the best spot in Bangkok without a massive crowd. It’s in a very quiet neighbourhood worth getting lost into. The puppet show at 2pm is amazing.

Pretty cool place. Very calm and relaxed environment. Definitely a hidden treasure. If you are doing a tour of the Khlongs, ask your driver to stop there for a few minutes. Remember to take your shoes off.

A completely off-beat experience in Bangkok! It's hidden amid narrow lanes and the Artist House building itself is a brisk walk away from the parking areas (there are two of them on opposite sides). This is an old wooden house with a shrine in the center and is by the river stream. It's a place to unwind where folks come to mostly draw, paint, sculpt, make trinkets or just sip coffee while reading a book peacefully while being surrounded by many paintings. Direction to reach : Be careful if you are using Google Maps as it can show the parking area on the other side of the river and then you'll have to take a longer detour. Best is to call the Artist House and let them coordinate with your Grab driver to avoid confusion.

This place is such a gem in the fast moving modern world we are living in right now. It provides traditional crafts workshop where visitors/customers can peacefully do artworks or handmade jewelry. The atmosphere of this place is really serene.

Very cute place half an hour journey from the hectic center of Bangkok. It's right by a Klong, the Bangkok riversystem, on the end of a small floating market. The Artist house itself has a very calm Atmosphere even when crowded. There is a nice backyard with an old temple in the middle where visitors can make their own necklaces. Overall an experience which was worth it.

Little peaceful local community, featuring Thai puppet show. The show is usually 2pm (not every day). There are nice souvenirs and stuff being sold there. You can spend long time there with a drink feeding fish at the canal. Really nice and beautiful place.

Unique cafe along Klong Buang Luang Floating Market. The cafe is the end shop of the market which is a few minutes walk from the link bridge where most tourist will enter. However, it has a direct pathway to Wat Kamphaeng Bangchak which makes it very accessible to visit after drinks. The cafe serves several beverages but interestingly the signature drinks are sugarcane base which is not the usual you can find of most cafes. Tried Canefeine (coffee+sugarcane) & CaneMatcha (sugarcane + green tea) and surprisingly both taste good. Also the cafe has interesting artistic stuff on ground floor, an olf chedi in the middle and 2nd floor is the art gallery showcasing colorful paintings. The place is very relaxing, clean, reasonable pricing, friendly and informative staff. Highly recommended for weekend or off day chill along the canal while being entertained by passing tourist longtail boats.

An oasis in the city. Discovered the place by accident and now became one of the best places to visit. Although I’ll avoid going there on weekends as its gets extremely crowded, with limited sitting and long queues to get your drinks

Authentic & Charming Place! They have Unique & Creative Thai Traditional Puppet Performance but you need to check the schedule in advance. Besides the show, you can enjoy lovely decorations and goods. There is also a cool & tasteful Café. It would be nice to have more varieties of Grab and Go food on the menu. Another place with perfect lighting for Photography.

when I came, there wasn't much to see in this place.. maybe because the time wasn't right.. The best time to visit this place is on weekends because there are puppet shows. but I am quite satisfied with the atmosphere in this place because there are some paintings and crafts that make me amazed
