This is just a wonderful park not so far from the city center. It is very large, you can just get lost in it and you need a few hours to cover its whole area on foot. The entrance fee is 10 Baht, but this is a ridiculous price to enjoy your day in such a wonderful place. And at the same time this money will go to the improvement of the park: I immediately noticed that the park, in principle, is kept clean and beautiful. The park is organized in various zones: swampy areas, various lakes and ponds and lawns, where you can have a picnic or play badminton or football. Also I really liked themed areas of the park such as Chinese zone, for example, as well as areas with swamps where you can go inside and walk as if in the jungle. Besides you can also enjoy nature with birds and other wildlife. Sometimes you can spot some rare birds here. I highly recommend visiting this park more than once.

Wow, this park is absolutely breathtaking! The natural beauty and meticulous landscaping create a serene and enchanting environment that truly captivates the senses. The vibrant colors of the flowers and the lush greenery make every corner a picture-perfect spot. The meticulously maintained pathways and peaceful ponds add to the park's charm, inviting visitors to take leisurely strolls and immerse themselves in the tranquility. The park's thoughtful design also provides plenty of shaded areas and cozy benches, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the surrounding beauty. It's truly a haven of serenity amidst the bustling city, and a testament to the incredible beauty of nature. A visit to this park is an absolute delight for the soul.

The best park in Bangkok. The territory of the park is huge, everything is very neat and clean. There are many different locations - large and small lakes, sculptures, mini parks in different cultural styles, bushes in the form of animals, several greenhouses, sports grounds and much more. This park is not a popular tourist destination, but it deserves their attention. Entrance is only 10 baht, and after 19 all visitors will be asked to leave the park. I definitely want to walk in this park a few more times!

This natural experience is full of colorful flowers, puddle boating, tortoises and monitor lizards. Could be the best sunset watching in Bangkok. Pros 1. A natural experience in Bangkok. 2. Bike parking with tickets was 25 Baht including parking fees in 2023 3. Enjoy puddle boat or row boat. 60 or 120 THB per boat. 4. Plenty of colorful flowers and birds. Could be an option for bird watching. 5. Multiple activities for kids. 6. It is the place to watch sunset in Bangkok, other than Bang Pu. Considerations 1. It gets really hot in Bangkok. The duration 11 AM - 3 PM could be too hot in the park. The park environment could be hot at 4PM. 2. Rent the boat around 5:30 PM to watch the sunset from the lake. 3. Most visit the park to watch the sunset. You should reach the park by 5 PM to enjoy the sunset. 4. Most dedicated gardens like cactus garden, central hall close by 4 PM. 5. It could be tricky and time taking to order Grab or finding a local taxi when returning from the park. 6. Certified guide dogs might be allowed in the park. Though i did not find any dogs in the park during my visit.

Very large park. If you live near then fantastic for exercise. Walking running cycling. Little bit sparse in colour with flowers. Not sure if that's just the season. Large lake with pedalos. Some drinks vendors scattered around with a minimal selection of food on offer. Good transport links and parking. Some people take a picnic. Toilets on site. 10 baht entrance fee.

Super amazing park. You can see a lot of flowers and trees here. The lake view is quite good. It is a perfect place for taking photo. Come in the early morning or after 3pm is good for avoiding too strong sunshine.

Superb park, very big, lots of things to see from Japanese garden, Chinese garden, cactii, and lots of beautiful trees and views. Great for walking around, sitting, relaxing or jogging! Note, parking fee is 10 baht per person, but well worth it!

Vast area. Good space for a walk and has some interesting exhibitions. Fun on the paddle boats for kids and adults. Iconic building on the lake, beautifully lit when we were there at dusk. Some uneven paving and a bumpy ride in places for buggies and wheelchairs. Enjoyed overall.

I visited this last November 30, preparing for their 10day Garden Exhibit in honor of the late King's birthday. I enjoyed everything about it including its landscapes, food and the fun of its cultural and environmental perspectives. A must to visit.

We've been fortunate to have visited many beautiful parks & gardens during our time here but Suan Luang is in another league. It's the largest public park in Bangkok situated well outside the typical tourist areas. Although busy with many people walking, running and families picnicking, the vast size & varied sections made for a peaceful afternoon stroll. There's so much here to see and do that it wasn't possible to fit it all in to one afternoon. We feel like we just had a taste of what's available and will be back again to enjoy even more.

I have been visited many comely park but Suan luang Rama IX is different from others. This is the most astronomically immense park that located in Bangkok . For the people who love flowers and good weather and hang out with family this park is answer for you. This park is the cumulation of many style because some of the component of this park has Chinese style and additionally English style of building. In this park you can do many activities too because the is a zone where you can peregrinate with the bike and there are additionally the exercise zone. There is a pedal boat, where you can rent the boat and ride on the lake in the park and this is thing is very iconic for this place. But if you visit this place before evening (before 17:30 PM)you have to pay 15 bath but after that it’s free.

It's a great public park covering 200 acres, and opened in 1987 by H M the late Thai king. There is a section of the park has international gardens for Japan, China and Romania. It's great place to visit to relax.

Good and huge park to walk. It has many exotic trees. There is a dome that has a collection of cactus 🌵 of North America, South America, Africa and Middle East. The huge lake and the water jets are also good. However, one has to pay for using toilets.

My favourite park out of all I visited in Bangkok. It is huge and well maintained, with numerous species of trees and flowers. It is far away from the city centre, which can be either positive or negative, depending on how you look at it. Sadly, the hours suggested by Maps are definitely not correct. So proceed with caution.

A great park in Bangkok, with many things to see. Besides the beautiful pavilion, there is a Chinese garden, Japanese garden, botanical garden, etc. I didn't even know about some of it and need to go back. It's a popular place to exercise and relax. There is a shop with good frappe and other drinks on the menu. You can go out on the lake in swan paddle boats. It's a little more difficult to get there, I recommend just taking a taxi. There are some of those red trucks that can drop you at a skytrain station but I'm not sure of their routes. Highly recommended to spend a day here. 👌 if you go at the right time the flowers are incredible.

One of the most beautiful garden in Bangkok, locating in the east wing of Bangkok. There are so many trees, flowers, cactus, and mini learning center for those who love plants, flowers, and butterflies. The big area allows different type of activities from jogging, picnic, pedal boat, aerobic dance, biking etc. There ate also different mini garden style including Japanese, French, Italian, etc. I'm sure it's sure worth visiting.

Always great place to visit. Flowers change throughout each season. But just too many runners on the weekend morning / evening. It concerns me a bit to bring my mum who can only walk slowly for a stroll since you have to constantly avoid people running.

It is a large park with smaller botanic gardens. There is also a lake in the center with swan boats. A restaurant/cafe near the lake serves good Thai food. The iced Thai tea was refreshing in the heat. The park is well-maintained and has many plants and flowers. I feel it is worth visiting if you live nearby or really wish to see parks/gardens. But if you are staying in central Bangkok or in the Western area, then riding a bus all the way may not be worth it.

My favorite park in Bangkok. It’s definitely a family park. You can bring food and have a picnic on the grass, go for a run or bike ride, or take a paddle boat out in the lake. There are also other things to see like English garden, French garden, Japanese garden, etc. if you have time, a visit to the memorial/museum of Rama IX is interesting as well. Everything is free except to food and boats of course. Great place to being the kids for an evening of family time.

BrainXcel Enrichment Center at Gateway Ekamai uses the park for Summer Camp outdoor activities as it has lots of shady trees. Very suitable for team building, learning about group dynamics and taking kids out of their comfort zones. A large outdoor playground and a maze (slightly run down) are also available. Parking available and entrance is THB20 on non public holidays.

Beautiful vast and majestic garden !! It’s so vast that it’s a perfect place for picnic or to relax. The Pavilion looks amazing, it showcases the kings toys and gadgets. It was really interesting. You can take a paddle boat which is in the shape of a swan around the lake. It’s a great activity if you are with your family. There were many locals at this place making it a good point to meet and greet. It worth going to this beautifully made building. I wonder why this place is not coming up on instagram like other temples in Thailand.

Really cool place just to get away from the bustle of Bangkok. The park is beautiful, though shade on the walk is hard to find. That said, there are many interesting and cool places to stop and relax. It's beautifully maintained throughout, and there's a little something for everyone here. I'll definitely go back since I didn't get around to seeing all there was to see.

Amazing park with a nice botanical garden, lots of trees, flowers and cacti to look at. It has a large playground for kids, a nice little cafe, and a huge area to discover. It has a couple of greenhouses with their own theme of vegetation. Worth bringing your bicycle if you can, but it's also nice to just walk around. You can catch a glimpse at a lot of interesting animals if you walk around the trees and the lake for enough time. Bring sunscreen and/or an umbrella 'cause it gets *hot*.

Good place to stroll around (walk/run/bike) but be careful as the walk way does allow vehicles to commute. Good environment. Close at 7 PM. Lots of parking spaces. Restroom is not free, bottled water is overprice (12 baht as of April 2022).

Went to S&P Restaurant next to lake (sorry no pics) Parking inside park. Huge park lots of walking around, lots of maps so you don't get lost. Many Bangkokians go buy food from S&P and have picnics on grass (under shade of course) lots of beautiful trees, shrubs, flowers, well maintained grass. Duck paddle boats on either side of lake (฿50 30min) MRT Yellow Line opening April 2022, will make it easier to get there if no car. Don't forget to visit King Rama IX museum opposite S&P History, life of King RamaIX 🎷👓 enjoy!

The most beautiful park in this area. Every age or gender can join here. Along the way also has the beautiful garden and flowers. The best time to join here is between 05:00-08:00 a.m.

Large park with a lake in it, and very well maintained. I went there with the hope of bird watching, but unfortunately there was a marathon going on, and the place was teeming with people and loud music, so I did not get to see many birds. There was a collective aerobics session too.

The park is really beautiful. Perfect place for running, walking, jogging etc. I went there during the flower festival (2022) and really enjoyed the fireworks.

Really nice park with a lake in between in which you can get a 60 bhat paddle boat for rental. We did a picnic besides the lake on the grassy patches. Also it wasnt too crowded even though it was a weekend. Also the park closes at 7 so plan to go there timely.

Amazing place to spend your weekend. Relaxing in green lush park with water places and boating. Can do walk, jog or cycling as well. Good spot for pictures as well

Very large park with various of plants and each of them has a name plate, nice atmosphere. There are parking lots with parking fee and there is also an entrance fee, but it is cheap and worth it. Due to its large area, it could take a whole day to walk around and visit all areas of this park.

Very Nice park to being the family, we went during the flower festival and it was packed with families. Lots of food options there too and entertainment. It’s usually quiet and nice, but both options are good.

Great Park, well-maintained and very pleasant to visit! Especially nice during the 'Flower Festival', early December.

One of the beautiful park with big lake, located in the heart of Bangkok. Good for morning exercise, long walk track while admiring the flowers.
