Indoor exhibit is quite nice. Outdoors could use some renovation. It's worth a visit if you are planning to see the show which was fun. The announcer was great! Unfortunately, it's another venue with tourist dual pricing. Even living in Thailand for a decade with a local driving license doesn't get you local price which is printed in Sanskrit so foreigners can't read it. I don't mind paying a bit more if it goes to a good cause like the Red Cross but paying 200 THB vs 50 for locals is a bit of a slap in the face.

Absolutely worthy of a visit with families. Educational and interesting for all ages. Snake farm without the cheap touristy sensation.

A nice place that educates the public on snakes! It was super educational, interactive and fun! We also got the chance to put a huge yellow python on our shoulders! Unfortunately we missed the snake extraction show but other than that, the place is quite small but pretty with an indoor museum on snakes with AC and also an outdoor exhibition of snakes in cages. I was so happy that they had student price (100 baht), adult ticket is 200 baht and child ticket is 50 baht.

Very nice place to visit. They will have show on schedule as in pictures take. The fee is 40 thb for Thai and 200 for foreigner but if you have work permit, you will get the same price as Thai. On Saturday and Sunday will have show on 11 am. They will show you how to handle with snakes in english and Thai.

We really enjoyed our visit here. “Snake Farm” is really a misnomer. I would say it is much more than that. It’s been around since 1929 and partners with the Thai Red Cross. It’s located on their campus. It’s a venomous snake research institute that produces research and anti venom for the rest of the world. The snake farm part is what they use to educate the public on venomous snakes. My daughters love snakes and they had a blast. There are real snakes you can view up close, a museum to learn all about snakes, a venom extraction demonstration at 11am and a snake show in the afternoon, 2pm I think. It was 200 baht for adults and 50 baht for children. I highly recommend it.

Entrance fee is 200 baht per person. Easily accessible by Metro. Indoor area where most of the snakes are located was air-conditioned, clean and comfortable. Their snake show (at 2pm) was really fun to watch. You can also get to take picture with one of their Burmese Python! There is beverage stall as well as food stalls available there as well. Recommended place to go when you visit Bangkok :)

The Snake Farm is a must visit..Set in a natural habitat, the park is well designed and very beautiful. The snakes are displayed in outdoor and indoor cages. They are beautiful to watch. I learnt a lot. The 2pm show on snake handling was excellent.

EDIT: I was finally successful in visiting on a day the snake farm was open! The venom extraction was very interesting. It was narrated in both English and Thai. The entire snake farm is pretty small - you can definitely see all the snakes in under an hour. However, if you like snakes, it's worth a visit! PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the snake farm is now closed weekends and holidays. This is NOT on the website and only stated on a sign near the entrance, which means there's no way to know without coming out here and walking all the way through the Red Cross compound. My family has tried to visit twice now. We checked the website both times, saw it was supposedly open, took a long taxi drive and walked, just to be told it was closed today and left disappointed. Just want to let other people know so you don't have the same experience.

What could be a great educational opportunity is sadly just a show for personal excitement. While we thought, this snake center would try to educate (local and foreign) people, how to live in the same environment without interfering too much with each other, it was actually mostly about snakes in small cages and a show, in which they make the snakes angry so they hiss at each other and at the staffs shoes. It would be such a great opportunity to take the fear of many people and transform it into a healthy respect. To learn things about the relationship, how to react when you encounter certain snakes and which snakes are the few, that actually might hurt you. I hope their program will be advanced into this direction in the future.

It's such a great experience for snake lovers! I came here with my friend a week ago. This place is open every day! It contains a lot of information about snakes. You also get to see snakes for sure. Most of them may be sleeping, but you can still see their skins and bodies.

The entrance fee is not expensive comparing with the knowledge that you will gain from this place. They have a show everyday even there us only one guest. All staff are kind and friendly. You will see cobras and a king cobra show as well. Last part is to carry a giant python. No worries, that python is not harmful. All process will be under staff’s monitoring closely.

So cool!! I loved to see all the snakes. They have both live animals and a museum portion upstairs. You can tell all the snakes were well cared for and happy. We went in the morning, and some of the cobras were active and sassy 💅✨✨ 200 THB for adults, cheaper for children

If you in the city its worth a visit. Just near to Wat Hua Lamphong. Close to Si Lom metro and Sala Daeng BTS stations. Unfortunately my visit happened between shows so i was able to enjoy the exhibition part. 200฿ admission fee for adults, for children it’s cheaper. You see several species of venomous/non venomous snake from the local fauna.

Good place to go and see snakes in the city center. The daily show is impressive as well as educational. Unfortunately they now started to charge tourist rates even for people living here (pink card/driving licence) which before covid they used the Thai rate if you can show proof.

Wow! This farm is one of the largest farms in the world! And they show really fascinating snakes - alive and and an own museum. The largest King Cobras I‘ve ever seen. And a lot of other potentially deadly snakes. The show in the afternoon is breathtaking. And you are very close (but save!): good possibility to make awesome photos. At the end and if you want you can touch a albino constrictor at the end. Entrance for adults is very cheap: 200 Bath. Children less, 40 Bath I think it was ... Summary: must see. Great place in Bangkok!

Great place for a visit. They have a lot of snakes inside for you to look at through glass. But I mainly recommend going here during the snake show, where they bring out snakes and release them on the floor in front of the seating area. I recommend sitting on the front row for the best pictures. Don't worry, there is no danger. And after the show you can hold a large one if you want. Again, no danger.

decent partial day out, lots of venomous and non-venomous snakes with cool patterns to observe. museum type are with lots of informative displays etc. didn’t seem overly unethical but can never tell for sure, probs worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We had a great time here and were pleasantly surprised how well organized and well maintained the farm is. Highly recommend the live snake catching demo at 2pm. It's educational and entertaining. At the end of the half hour show, they also let you put a python around your neck! In addition to the 2pm show, they also do live venom extraction at 11am every weekday. Overall, this is without a doubt a 5 star place for kids and adults. I didn't expect to enjoy learning about snakes !

i had a great time here. The 200 THB ticket was quite reasonable, the museum was really great and had a huge collection of snakes of different varieties. The demonstration session was amazing for its educational purposes, and you could even take a photo with the snakes after the demonstration.

Was positively surprised with how well kept this farm is. There are outdoor cages and containers with snakes, as well as indoor exhibitions. The background and regions of snakes are meticulously mentioned and information about how to identify venomous snakes and what to do if you are bitten is very helpful. There is snake handling show at 2 pm which is quite fun and you can take pic with a snake later.

Enjoyed the Red Cross Snake Farm more than we expected! There are alot of species of Thai snakes, as well as a few foreign snakes, all in very well kept enclosures. The educational snake handling demonstration however, is the must see part of the experience. I note others have criticised on the difference in entry prices for Thai's and foreigners - This kind of thing normally annoys me too, but in this case I think all Thai's should have access to the park simply for the knowledge they can gain about the snakes living in their own country!

Must go when you’re in Bangkok. Take BTS Sala Daeng and walk to the snake farm about 500 m. The have 2 shows (venom extracting & snake handling) on weekdays and 1 handling show on weekend. The MC, dr. Taksa, was so great in explaining about venom and snake, the handlers are so professional and act carefully. People, it’s all about education. The handlers and all the people who works here also a human who interact with wild animals. They have to put a safety of people above animals. They aren’t act carelessly with the animal. In the 2nd level they have a information about snake anatomy and information about venom and emergency act for snake bites. I definitely will go back later, I have to watch the venom extraction show !

An excellent adventure can be had here for 200 baht. There is venom milking at 11.30 each day and at 2.30, there is a snake show where you can watch a snake handler interacting with a large snake and you can get your photo taken with a snake of you want also. It's located at a red cross hospital where they make anti venom to protect against should you get a snake bite while in thailand. A really good experience and the place is not crowded so it is a very good experience and we'll worth a visit. Kids will love it but adults will love it even more as there is s lot of information about snakes in general.

We loved it and i highly recommend it to you as well assuming you have not been to a snake farm earlier. You have to plan in a way so that you a see both the 11 am venom extraction and then the 2 pm shows. Plan on a weekday only as both shows not available on weekend. The exhibits are placed inside and indoors as well.Finding the snakes may be difficult and potentially fun family activity especially on the indoor exhibits. At the end of the show they allow you to hold a python and click pictures. I think you will find it worth the price. Plan to come in by 10:45 am on weekdays.

The website didn't set our expectations too high. We were really impressed with the place as well as how informational and educational it was. Highly recommended! We were impressed with the venom extraction show. The only downside was that realistically you either attend the venom at 11am or snake handling show at 230pm. They close at midday.

A nice place to kill a couple of hours with the kids. Clean. Well-maintained. It was confusing to get dropped-off in front of what looks like a medical testing lab. Look for signs of “snake farm”. The show at 2 pm was nicely done. It is short but informative and the presenter had good wit. :) All snakes looked well taken care of. We enjoyed our time.

Highly cooperative staff with decent communication skills.

Very informative place- I have learnt plenty here. From the different kind of snakes to the damage of toxins to human body. Very good family place and great for kids to learn and family to bond. Many displays of venomous cobras here, very impressive. Was sweating cold sweat for the weekend venom show! Very exciting and not for the faint hearted. There is also photo opportunity with cute snakes after the show. Very recommended !

very nice place to learn some basics about snakes, discover the different species that can be found in Thailand, how to treat a snake bite... They offer 2 different shows at 9am and 2:30pm. Snake milking to show how to collect their venom and a general snake presentation where you can have your picture with a python. Entrance is 200B, you shouldn't miss it :)

Interesting attraction in Bangkok, if you are looking for a different experience. Who would expect a snake farm in the heart of Bangkok? Inside the building has a well maintained snake exhibition. Walking around outdoor snake cages can be sweaty, and snakes could be difficult to spot. Be sure to catch their snake handling session at 11am.

Also, have incredibly wonderful snake shows, as well as understanding about the nature of each snake's breed. At the end of the event, you can takea complimentary photo with the giant snake. I'm willing to assist them at the tip box because it is worthwhile to do so for the encouragement of them. I highly recommend visiting there.

👍👍 I give a shot at 5 am for dawn vibes, in the morning, they already opened, quite half of them. You can find food, has breakfast at 6 am, only on ground floor, the 1st floor (know as 2nd floor for thai people) is open around 10 am. It's common tradition thai market but the goods&ingredients are high...
