👍 I had fun here. Prices for drinks and marijuana are reasonable. Good mixed crowd. A lot of people trying to sell you stuff in the streets, just hit your ignore button. 😃 but it does get super annoying after a while. Great street food and restaurants, lots of shopping, and many pretty ladies. People often mention street, music, bars, time, good, night, loud, party, Bangkok, restaurants,

It is said to be a sacred place for backpackers. Security is not very good day and night. There are few attractive stores. There are marijuana shops, etc., and it's not just shops that cater to tourists. It may give a bad impression to travelers from countries where marijuana is not legal.

This is one of the biggest night markets in Bangkok Thailand. It can be a weekend or a weekday you will find it useful. With many vendors by the road side selling items ranging from electronics to clothes to food and shops selling weed products the street is of course a favourite spot for tourists. Many people claim that Bangkok is unsafe and have to be very safe when visiting these night markets, but I found no such hash people (given my crew was just three girls). The place is safe and as long as you avoid getting into trouble by yourself. Just follow the general safety rules of your own. There are lots of bars with live music and it's good for a very happening night life.

Khaosan Road is a lively and packed place in Bangkok, especially when the sun goes down and it's party time. It's the go-to place if you're looking to experience the city's vibrant nightlife and meet lots of new people. There, you'll find lots of street stalls, each one selling all sorts of different and unusual foods, even including insects! It’s like a big, lively street party where the food is unique, the music is loud, and there’s always something going on. Whether you’re in the mood to shop, eat, or party, it’s the place to be!

The streets are filled with bars and clubs that try to outdo each other by playing music as loudly as possible. Be careful there's a vast number of hustlers around. If you're into partying, then this place is for you. If you value peace and quiet, it's best to simply skip it and avoid going there

The place has dropped in my feeling. Some good bars and eating options and there’s always places selling t-shirts and elephant pants but where things previously were all negotiable and fun the feeling has changed. Now there’s more shops selling weed but generally in the evening I think the feeling here has changed. Still some cool places to grab dinner and a beer though.

Awesome place in here for celebrating festival like Christmas and countdown inNew year eve. Excellent vibes and choices of bar are dazzling alongside all the way of Khassan Road. Strong music and crowd make you lost at night.

This place is very good to visit, especially at night time, you can roam here, or here all the facilities for eating and drinking are available, along with this, you can also get different types of sea foods, crocodile meat or different types of smoking. The product is available. If you are worried about the loud volume then maybe you will get bored for some time because the loud speaker here is very loud, but this is not a thing to worry too much because in most of the restaurants where the music is very slow or in light volume. Or where there is much to enjoy, you can enjoy dance songs along with food. You can also reach there with the help of local transport.

Interesting but please bring some earplugs because the music from the pubs/ bars/ restaurants can damage your ears.

Colorful street with a lot of bars , street food and massage parlors. The main issue in this street is the super aggressive hosts trying to lure you and sellers disturbing you constantly while sitting in the bars.

Noisy street with parties, bars, restaurants and lots of curiosities. Only wakes up in the afternoon or evening. Known from Hangover. But I have to say that it is no different than other amusement areas in the city. Very touristy and prices correspondingly high. Seeing it once is enough.

We went to this iconic street, which was quite empty (June 2023). Lots of cafes, some street food, a few shops and quite some newly opened cannabis shops - feels like they took all the energy from the street. On the ends you have a number of tuk tuks with drivers trying to get you in. There is one station that cooks a crocodile and sells fried cockroaches, but taking a picture will also cost you money. Nothing special any more unfortunately.

An indispensable place when coming to Bangkok. Where you can see local culture, bar and club entertainment, try local specialties, experience outdoor massage and party nights at very nice bars and clubs~~

Lively street for the young at heart. For a quieter time sit on Rambutrri street parallel to KS. My favourite travel agency is just around the corner

Khaosan Road is a busy area, day time is cill. Night time is loud with music. A younger crowd. Clubs dancing. Rambuttri is one street north. More jazz and lively but quieter. Both are a great place to spend your time with friends on a night out.

If you want to be immersed in the loud bars..cheap drinks and trying exotic street food..this is your place to go and you’ll have a great time! Be careful, it gets really crowded as the night goes on and be aware of pickpockets!

Went with family during the day. Obviously it was quiet but I wanted that. All felt fine and safe for the kids. Picked up some t shirts at reasonable prices (you need to haggle).

Street is good and I do recommend going there, but it’s so loud and my ears were hurting after 20 minutes there. It’s just a party street with some souvenir shops , but if you like hip hop music or any other then go there. For me the sound is too loud and couldn’t stand to be there.

Place for good night life Go around 7-8 pm types Good place for having economical bottle of beer Nice music all around and a good place to party.

It's a packed street with a lot to do: Eat, drink, smoke, dance, get a date. I think it's great to visit at least once if you haven't been, get wild a bit and move on, there's plenty to see in thailand that tops this experience, but going one time to check it out is probably a good idea.

Khaosan Road is a backpacker's paradise. It's cheap, lively, and full of character. A must-visit for any first-time visitor to Bangkok.

Super lively place with anything and everything available. Just walk around the streets and sit in any of the bars. All places play great music and are super fun. One tip: look for the crowded bars and sit there as their music might be the best

Khaosan Road is well known for the cheapest rooms, food etc. It has numerous restaurants and occasionally will have an art exhibition. I happen to come across the light show done by local artists. If you are around this area, keep an eye out for any art displays.

It’s a very touristic area in Bangkok. There are bars, cafes, street food stalls, tattoo studios, souvenirs shops, and restaurants ( local and international) all along the street.Thera are a lot of things you can see and do in this place. As advertised on billboards which is placed in several points in this area. It says “ Must do list for Khaosan Road “ - Enjoy street food - Get a tattoo - Have a massage - Have FUN !!! So basically you can have your complete Thai experience here...😀👍🏻

There are many stalls selling all sort of exotic foods like fried insect ,crocodile meats and etc..I been there twice few years back when i living in Bangkok ,just chill in a bar enjoy live band and beer with friends because we dont the chaotic environment throughout the whole street.

It's has been great street for many years but sadly tourists do prefer the old Khason Rd. It was before more appealing and so unique. The good news is Khason Rd is now open for business and serving the customers with the usual friendly attitude. At the moment you must be vaccinated to be allowed to enter or you must take Covid 19 test and pay 100 Bhatt. I believe the vaccine requirements will not help the business in the streets. I hope the authority can find other alternatives.

Always a fun and crazy place. Filled with tourist and some locals. Everyone is here for a good time. The music is crazy loud and tons of bars offering balloons. Better with groups.

Without tourists this street is silent than ever. Now it is great time to take some snap on the empty street with a temporary kite decoration I recommend visit during sunny day time

Known as backpacker central. One of the top night market in Bangkok. It’s a short street in Bangkok. It’s also famous for its vibrant entertainment scene. U can find a lot of budget hotels here. It is often considered to be an obligatory stop for travelers who are backpacking their way through Asia. For me. It was just an ordinary night market. 👍🏻

Everything you need for a good time young or old boom boom or acoustic. Love it!!!

  • 1/5 Jon S. 1 year ago on Google
Ive travelled a lot and been on Khao San road a lot over the years. Never again sadly. Every pub has music blaring out so loud that talking has become near impossible and it has killed the ambience of the street. I would advise to go on a side street nearby instead and watch the world go by as it used to be on Khao San. Would give no stars at all if i could.

This area is kinda “backpackers” heaven with quite cheap hostels and entertainment. As for me - this is just trashy spot which is better to avoid in the evening. Too loud music from all sides, too much people around and waiters calling to their “unique” place. Weed is in the air

Beautiful place and many things to look at. A lot of cultural stuff which is absolutely gorgeous to look at. It is very big and also has many markets, take a Tuk Tuk and the driver will bring you to all the places you want to see.
