In our experience as travellers, this is the best, most authentic market in Bangkok. We learned about Wang Lang from Mark Wiens' guides aimed at Western tourists. Surprsingly, we saw few Western tourists here. The place is crowded-- in a really good way. Lots of options for goods and foods.

We stayed at a hotel nearby and found this market to be great. You had the boats nearby to cross the river and the pricing here was alot cheaper than other markets. They didnt have all the varieties larger markets would have, however it seemed less exposed to tourist therefore pricing was great. The laneways are very narrow and you get a feeling of how a real thai market should be. There are also good massage places that are clean and reasnable.

Best market for good food stalls where mothers offer their specialties. It's best to just walk straight ahead from the pier through the narrow sidewalks and try everything.

Wanglang market is a good place to shope. It has everything and they are priced reasonably. Many Thais shop here. Convenient to get here by boat. Food , drink and clothes are everywhere. The street is narrow so its very crowded especially the weekend.

Fantastic, local market where one can pretty much find and buy anything he or she wants from clothes, shoes, food and much more! Be aware that the passages are narrow, hot and congested, so those who are claustrophobic may have issues.

Another local Thai market on the Thonburi side of the river. It's near Siraj Hospital. This is not a tourist oriented market but is for local folks and the prices reflect it. There are tons of stalls selling all sorts of goodies including fabulous sweets. The clothes are reasonably priced and there are second hand goods sold too. You won't see many foreigners there but you will see white coats and uniforms from the hospital as well as tons of students. Everyone is friendly. Best way to get there is on the Boat to Ta Chang Pier.

Every time I go to see a doctor at Siriraj We will go very early. The car is parked. Go to Wang Lang Market, sit and drink coffee, have books to read. What kind of flavor do you like? The person who makes it is full.

There is a market in Bangkok, on the west bank of the great Chao Phraya River, which is visited by few tourists except the very curious. This market is very busy and lively and has a variety of products, colorful shops and many eateries. It is very heartwarming to see him in it. The passenger boat station to return to the center of Bangkok is at the end of the market and is attached to it, and you can return to Bangkok for 7 baht.

Local market, a bit on the expensive side. Try -Tha Din Daeng- market for a much cheaper option and bigger veggie and fruit selection. Even -Banglamphu- market is cheaper and offers a wider choice of goods.

I went there once because I had nothing else to do, but it was better than I thought. There's a lot to eat. However, it is difficult to find the trash can. If you go into the alley in the middle, there are food court-style keyboards and there is a trash can there. If you prepare a piece of vinyl when going to the furnace, your hands will be comfortable.

Use the public bathroom for 5 baht on the second floor next to Wang Lang Pier. Because the housewife maintains Thai traditions So he told us to go to the women's bathroom. (I'm a tomboy dressed as a man and want to go to the men's restroom because I feel more comfortable because I can't get in because I have to pay. I want to enter for free.) I'd like to ask why I can't go into the men's restroom. Why must there be gender restrictions? What era is this? If talking about safety, it should have been through a good analysis of the users and then they decided to use the service.

A place where you pay for the boat and come back with at least twice as much money as Chatuchak.

👍👍 If your shopping at Makro or Foodland you'll probably want to add a trip to this market as well. The food-court is truly excellent, cheap and massive, I'd estimate 40 separate prepared food counters. You can get a really good meal here for 30 -80 baht. The produce section is quite well stocked with...

👍 If you happen to drop by Siriraj Hospital or Siph just for your own health check-up or medical follow-up, it would be nice to check this temple out. Around this time of every year which is early November, a temple fair emerges and everybody rejoices 🎡
