We went to a funeral at Wat Khrua Wat. The parking was difficult to find. The main hall is beautiful but small. The temple is nice and clean.

There was a bit of construction and lots of vending when I went a couple days before this post. Kinda took away from the whole sanctity vibe. Free to enter, but this temple can be skipped from your tour, in my opinion.

This is my ancient temple named after king's concubine Khrua Wan whose surname was Punyaratabandhu. In the main abbey, there are 500 paintings on the wall expressed Bhudha 500 lives.

A convenience place for dining with easy and quick in and out on Asoke road. The owners try to improve and make different from the own style shopping mall and office. Cheer for their intention and patient.

We are in Bangkok on a tour and visited this temple to understand more about the Buddhist temple. Not a very big temple and they are keeping the premises very clean and the people there and the thai people/devotees very helpful, only a few knew English and they were kind enough to explain various things. Not much parking place. But we were walking anyways. πŸ˜‚

Wat Khrua Wan Worawiharn This is a third-class royal temple, but there is no clear evidence of when it was built. The important place that should be seen is the ordination hall, which is in the Thai art stule decorated with toothlike ridges on the gable apex with pediments decorated with floral stucco designs, as well as the arched doorwaus and windows that are covered with gold leaf. The exterior door panels are carved with trees, flowers, and birds, which are covered with gold leaf. The interior walls of the ordination hall have ver beautiful murals of the Rattanakosin Era telling about the 500 lives of the Buddha from the Jataka tales. The principal image in the ordination hall is a Buddha in the attitude of persuading the relatives not to quarrel. The image is cast in iron and covered with gold leaf and is 4 wa (about 8 metres) high. Images of the chief disciples. Sariputta and Moggallana, are seated on the right and left, respectively.

😠 Not open for the public. Is located on military area so no access. Mayby you can book a tour, so I've heard. At least you can see it from the river and get a good view. The 2 other forts nearby, the Phra Sumen Fort and Mahakarn Fort, is open too the public.
